Where to get fitted for running sneakers...?
Posted:

its funny how much trouble we go thru when some of the best runners (think africa and so forth) alot of the time dont wear shoes...but i digress . Find a pair ur comfy in then take a good bit of time to break em in... There are a few specialty shops that hire ppl that know what they are doing but truthfully alot of the time u will get screwed ...trust ur body read up on some shoes runnersworld and so forth...and when u feel pain stop (u ran enough for that day continue breaking the shoe in a different day)... and really unless ur trying to run races and so on realise that as long as u feel good in the shoe u really dont need much more than that...

Is Dating over 30 tougher than it was when you were in your 20's?
Posted:

me and my ex were together since we were both 19 till i turned 30:) so missed all that 20 s dating thing..iono about if its harder than when ppl are in their 20s but i am surprised by the amount of mind games and all the issues ppl seem to have nowadays...it seems that u got two choices or atleast that s what ive come across men that are wanting to settle down like tomorrow or men that just want to fool around...i got this weird idea that i want to casually get to know someone and see where it leads mind i might be coming out of left field but just to find out if it is the age thing im going to try dating a few 20 year olds to find out : )

Grey Hair: Distinguished, or EX-tinguished?
Posted:

Your hair and face are amazing why change a good thing...made me want to call my incredibly beautiful, creative and smart friend in toronto to tell her to check your profile out...seriously tho if i started going grey i might be tempted to color but its a personal choice ...i used to see this incredibly gorgeous woman that would dress in well cut usually dark clothes and had waist length grey and silver hair, blue eyes and high cheekbones, her legs were long and the l affect was enough to make me slobber . She had this etheral out of this world exotic beauty about her...would the affect have been the same if she had mousy brown hair who knows but 15 years later i still remember her : )

Can you party hard like a 20yr old when you are over 30?
Posted:

i still go out whenever the mood hits me and i also get picked up by 23 year old girls...umm well some girls try but mostly men:) its all in fun. Age is just a number!Mind yeah i also changed some of the spots i used to hit to fit the wider range of ages of clubbers:). Its only wrong when ur trying to be that 20 year old again , im pretty pleased with my 30 year old life my responsibilities and being able to have a crazy night come home at 4 in the morn and be ready to go to work or for a run by 6 30:)

We live in a small town so i try to get the kids into the "big city'' as much as i can. Our last trip in i decided to go to chinatown ...as were entering my youngest started howling pointing and saying we cant go in were not chinese...i calmed him down cheeks quite pink then we entered a bakery, my eldest being the charmer that he is started talking up the cashier, his exact words 'you chinese really know how to cook well'. I took him by the hand and my youngest who still was in my arms upset at us being somewhere we didnt belong and went to have a talk about diversity...learning experiences:)

Birthday party dilemma
Posted:
11/13/2009 4:14:41 PM
depends on if you know the family...for an outing type spot if i know the mom i usually might call here up and ask if she minds my other taging along of course making sure she understands that all his costs will be on me..if i dont know the family well then i wont ask and ill take that opportunity to have a special outing with my other son while the other is at the party... this is when the party is being held at a cool spot(bowling, laser, amusement park or pool)if the party is held at the house then its only for the boy whos invited. So personnally outside of calling her instead of writing(more personal) i dont think you did anything wrong.

since were in fall id figure id throw a recipe out there too ..Make a spaghetti sauce hamburger meat tomato sauce, any veggies you have on hand then instead of using noodles use spaghetti squash as the noodles, healthy high in protein and delicious..u can make a big quantity and freeze and honestly the cost will only depend on what u put in ur sauce it can b done really cheaply:)

Posted:
11/13/2009 7:09:54 AM
honestly none of us can tell u if u are right or wrong the only thing that will tell you that is later in life...All i could say is that you should atleast do what u can so that your daughter cant blame you later on..what i mean is send him an email letting him know her name, maybe a picture, alot of men cant dont take fatherhood easily and im not saying that you need him in your life, just that it might benefit your daughter to know that her mom cared enough to let her father know about her..the money issue is all up to you..but if your not going to ask for support please be careful enough to have a good backup plan in case you need it..because as she grows older the cost does too...

PERSONAL TRAINERS
Posted:
11/10/2009 5:54:34 PM
ummz knows 90^pound girls who are able to pick up 260 pound men...but yeah how did this go from trainers to power lifters...good trainers will teach you proper form and new exercises you might never of fanthom they can also objectively look at your body and figure out what a person might need to work on..(good trainers)...most ppl in the gym(yes alot of u men are there with pipecleaner legs and big biceps with almost no decent shoulders and yet you think that you know what your doing... that or the number of ppl you see practicing bad form id say about 85 whove been doing this ish for years yet wonder why u still look the way you do...(personal rant) : ) now honestly any beginner should atleast go for a starter program with a trainer, its not only about bringing a weight up and down...i urge most women i meet in the gym to take one on, the last thing a person starting up needs is injuries due to not understanding what they are doing...

PERSONAL TRAINERS

I choose my trainers carefully, i got one that i use when im prepping for a figure competion , she used to do fitness comps, has a child, looks amazing and has been at it for 20 years and knows what to train for the female competitors body then i have a trainer who helps me during my running season , he trains me specifically for sports and is an award winning athlete then i have my running group which works my well my running:)...all of them are not only certified but have done the things i want to achieve with my body... ive been at this awhile so can usually spot the newbies who might turn out to be good trainers later on but might not be what i need i remember a male bodybuilder who made me do exercises for men big mistake, hurt my abs baddddddddddddd then a woman cute and young who had no idea how to do a program that would challenge me..all that said trainers are a great resource just take your time and choose well:)

Single Parent and Racism (for the kids?)
Posted:

I dont think this had anything to do with her children, its just her preference and she used her children as an excuse..im a mom of two my kids are a mix but that doesnt mean that im editing out my choices due to the coloration of my kids skin. I didnt get with my ex due to his skin tone and refuse to choose my future mate due to the color of his skin tone, so if there was a great asian, white, black or arab man who was everything i wanted and was ready to accept my children..well yay : )

sigh miss blue i even said that when im rushed i might grab a shake but here youre reading ppl that consume almost nothing but...(i have 2,3 ,8 shakes a day) thats sum crazy ish.. you can bet that they are missing out on alot of nutrients due to it..all im trying to say is ppl need to realize theres no quick fixes...and slurpin down shakes all day long sounds rather nasty to me...

Change up what you do is my advice ...find out if theres a sports league at your job (something that you may have never tried before)or try finding a class (martial arts, belly dancing whatever )that fits into your schedule...i was working like mad, have 2 kids and am a runner but i was also bored of the gym and needing an outlet i found mine in a martial art school that was offered during one of my only free moments ..it gave me back the urge to continue with all my training as well as giving me a new way to workout..theres so many schools or classes out there im sure youll find one that will fit, other than thatyou could set a goal in a sport you love and do all you can to achieve it:)

do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith??
Posted:

some young women lust after older men...they are searching for their father figure ...my lil sis is one of them since she was 15 she keeps going for the 28 and up club...at 15 ..mind it was more the pedophile club but i digress, she says she finds them more interesting, wiser and all that crapola..personnally i dont see the attraction ...we are all attracted to differents shapes, colors, ages ...so the idea that all women do is a myth , the fact that theres a group of women who like it... sure

Posted:

Crazy me was just eating balanced meals and snacks...like chicken breast fish egg whites with a yolk thrown in then i was adding these things called veggies , some carbs to have the energy to do all my sports and drinking loads of water..only having a protein shake if i didnt have the time to do any cooking...which isnt often...yet my body is still cut and im still able to workout hard and compete in races and competitions..it seems some ppl always need to beleive some magic potion is going to get them where they want to go instead of just doing the hard work and eating well..not talking about fitness competitors cuz then ur on a different level but most ppl on here use the protein shakes as a crutch..oh and a glass of chocolate milk is suppose to be just as good as having a shake after a workout..

anal has to b done right and yes it can be extremely pleasurable but it has to be with the right person with the right lube in the right moment...if youre feeling all cramped up and tense it wont go well if the man starts off by finguring u badly it wont go well...if well u get the idea..but when its done right its amazing:)

im a mom of two boys its written on my profile but i would never put their pics up on here...the amount of weirdos that respond to me sometimes im scared to have my pics up (jk) im proud to be a mother and if you cant deal with children than we probably wont go very far but at the same time i dont think anyone has to see pictures of them on a free dating site to know that. I remember a dude from myspace back in the day who had taken my pic and told me he had put it on his phone and was telling ppl i was his girlfriend..creepy now imagine someone took one of your kids pics well you get the idea...

when did coffee become a first date?
Posted:

i thnk alot of ppl put coffee cuz it sounds less threatening, if a man put a romantic dinner, a walk on the beach well it does sound like alot of cheese aswell as alot to live up to..this way its just a coffeedate if it goes well youll end up chatting till one will suggest a movie or dinner its casual...but if it doesnt go well you slurp up your coffee and leave:) titles arent too important for me tho a date or a meet doesnt it all come back to the same thing?

truthfully is your picture misleading? I know we all try to post our prettiest shots but arent you being unfair if thats the case by not presenting yourself the way you really are? I mean maybe the dude would of gone for you if he had known who he was going to see..maybe he was offputted by the fact that you didnt resemble the person in your pic he figured that the rest was basically lies..that or he was shallow and yes love sorry but looks and attraction do matter. I find that when men really know what to expect they usually like it and are fine with it (goes for if youre carrying a few extra pounds are a little too slim and so on..)ppl like to have a visual of who they are about to meet up with..But when a male (or women) feels they have been duped tricked or whatever then they usually leave pretty fast..

why do most of you think kids NEED two parents?

it takes a village to raise a child truthfully..but i agree with you jc, luckily the father of my children is involved with them , sure i could do it by myself but why not give them the advantage of having two parents? Honestly if he wasnt involved part of me would want to go find someone who would fill that male role in their lives ive seen to many ppl come up with warped daddy issues and anger towards their moms ...but having said all that it has to be a healthy nurturing positive role they play in your childrens lives./
