Hi everyone. This my first time joining one of these outings, and I just wanted to say that if it is played girls vs boys, then the boys better find some guys cause it looks like there will be a lot more girls there. Which doesn't look good for the guys.

I have a 6 year old son and sometimes I look at him and think what have we done, I didn't bring a child into this world to live with his parents apart. But what would life be like for him if we had stayed together. He would see his mom and dad either fighting or not talking at all and that is not what i want him to see either. My son has asked his dad and I to get back together and just to look into his face while he asks that question is a heart breaker. He is now starting to accept the situation. Sometimes things can't be helped. Just think miserable your children would be to watch their mom and dad argue all the time. When my uncle and aunt finally separated his kids looked at them and said "it's about time" so kids really do know.

No one else has to like the arrangements that you and your ex have made. My ex and I have the same arrangements. We have no court arrangements and he pays no child support and i don't care what other people think, cause I couldn't find a better dad for my son. Yes people tend to look down on that, but oh well. I don't ask for child support but he pays for everything my son needs clothes, haircuts, shoes, etc.

Don't compromise if an abortion is not for you then don't do it. It's not just his decision. If you want to raise the child and willing to do it without his help then make sure he signs off on all parental rights otherwise what is to stop him from trying to come into the picture later. It is always better to have 2 parents but if he doesn't want to, then so be it the child can still have a happy life with you as a mom who loves him or her unconditionally. Just make sure it is what you want.

I guess I am pretty lucky because my sons dad always makes sure I get something for all occasions. I also return the favour and make sure that he gets something for all the occasions also. Thanks to the Dads.
