Profile Photo Does NOT Look Like the Person You've Just Met
Posted: 3/29/2009 12:57:19 AM
I've met women, who have horrible photos of themselves up. Just awful,
How can they think that anybody would do anything but run away?
Isn't the point of this site to be truthful?

so, why are you still single?
Posted: 3/29/2009 12:51:35 AM
That question is somewhat flattering and somewhat annoying. I think it has to do with either being

a) undateable : which I suspect many people on this site are

and

b) super picky: which ALL of the people on this site think they are.... event those in category A

WHY ARE WOMEN OVER 30 A FAILURE WHEN THEY ARE SINGLE AND CHILDLESS?
Posted: 3/29/2009 12:48:46 AM
That's a crazy thought, my search and advanced search are focused on women over 30 without kids. They are women who have gotten their lives together , still hot, and don't need kids to make them happy.

Is it possible to love someone with differing political views?
Posted: 3/29/2009 12:41:46 AM
no, I don't think so.

It has to be at least somewhat similar.

Are there any men looking for true love for a lifetime?
Posted: 3/8/2008 11:35:06 PM
That's all I want. The true love of a lifetime.

Somebody who I want to spend time with, more than any other person.

Somebody who I'd rather go to a quiet sleep in the dirt, rather than not see.

Somebody who I'd kill for.

True Love.

It exists.

Somebody believes.

Is love really blind?[can you love the homely?]
Posted: 4/20/2006 6:56:17 AM
Some of the nicest people I know , would be considered "homely"... so, if you're only into looks there is a lot you're passing up.

I agree with BraZen, why mock one religion over another? Anything that offers a bit of comfort to a person, can't be all bad.

what is it that u find in peoples profile pictures that turn u off right away?
Posted: 4/20/2006 6:49:41 AM
I find it amusing to find misspelled words, in the profiles of people who say "I hate it when people misspell words".

Why don't asian males dig mixed asian women?
Posted: 4/20/2006 2:13:59 AM
Ummmn, this is going to sound absolutely insane. Everytime I've told somebody this they look at me like a complete nut-bag.

I don't generally date Asian women, because I like noses. I had no idea about this nose thing until one time I was rating people on Hot or Not, and noticed everytime somebody had a big straight nose I was more attracted than the tiny flatter noses, that most Asian women have.

Crazy? Most guys I know are about breasts, legs, what have you. Why I like noses I don't know. Really I don't.

Women with great noses.

The Asian girl from Kill bill who fights Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman herself has a great nose

Madonna

That's all, I'm going to run off now.

Interracial dating
Posted: 4/20/2006 1:52:19 AM
Dude,

I have dated women of all races, and therefore they've dated an Asian guy.

The good? You already removed all Racists from the mix. I find it scary that racism even occurs in Canada, but it's there. Don't believe me my fellow Asian friend? Read Freakonomics, it has one part about dating mixed races. Something like 70% of white women on internet dating sites will check off "don't care about race" but will secretly care.

Yow!

The Bad: There are girls who ONLY date Asian Guys. Again I find that really wierd. Really.

over 30 and still living at home
Posted: 4/20/2006 1:39:44 AM
Actually I used to live on my own when I was younger about 18, then went travelling around North America. While I was out I realized how much I missed seeing my family.
When I got back, I moved out of my apartment and bought a newer larger house for the family. We now live in a 5000 square foot house, with 3 seperate floors and exit/entrances. It's nice, we get to see each other all the time and share meals when we can.
Does that consist of living at home? I think the negative connations of living at home really is a very North American concept. I also think the concept has to do with the thought of freeloading, nobody at our house lives for free.
I wouldn't have very much respect for somebody who wasn't contributing to his family group either.
Because there are 5 of us all working and all paying down the mortgage, we should have this house paid off in 7 yrs.
My one brother when he marries off will probably have his 1st house cosigned against this house, and because of that will owe the money to the "family" instead of the bank.
I don't envy families that aren't close, or tight knit enough. It makes me sad when people don't think of their families as part of who they are.
