I do feel that there is a point where you have to many... or some people put them in places I dont find attractive. But to each there own.. its a way to express yourself. It all has meaning for me.... each piercing/tattoo!

My husband is friends with most of his ex's and girls he has slept with or dated. Hes a great guy with an amazing personality! I dont even question why they would want to remain in his life! Jealousy?? hell ya! i have insecurities at times and I KNOW better but its human nature to feel this. Do I act like a **** and tell him NO BEING HER FRIEND??? NO but I do have things that would make me feel uncomfortable ... like them hanging out alone together and i said that to him and he is OK with it and willing to be respectful of my feelings! Just be open, honest and communicate! Its the key to a healthy relationship!

Over all I have had positive experiences... but once I started chatting with a guy off an online site and all was going well. he showed up at a bar a friend and I were at and was sooo rude to me that I wanted to climb under a rock and hide forever! I have major anxiety now over first dates and what type of impression I make to people online and who I really am because he told me I miss-represtented myself and was not at all what he liked. Not that is should matter to me but .. it was one of those things...

I have also dated persons who were ex-meth heads/ coke heads and had no issues with that! There is such a thing as recovery!!

I dont think asking what a woman wants is such a good idea............ instead answer this... the woman YOU WANT... what do you WANT HER TO WANT??? We all want diff things and value diff things .... so find a lady who wants and values what YOU offer... dont change for anyone!!! You will have a lot more luck that way! It may take longer to find "her" but at least it will be the right her.

this thread has perfect timing!!! I had this sinking feeling tonight!!! Id found a few old rolls of film laying around and took them to get developed on Wed. The dates on them were from 5-8 years ago...... I didnt have a clue what they were so was excited to see them!..... I pick them up and.......... That sinking feeling you get when....... you get suprised in the middle of Walmart cause you just developed pictures you thought were of your kids and they really were of your husband and his ex-g/f from about 6 years ago... the one he THOUGHT he was gonna marry..... who he had very strong feelings for before their relationship turned to hell......having sex!!!! I think each man describes the "outdoorsy" type a bit different!! Id say I fit most profiles of an outdoors woman! ... I love to hunt, (yes I clean my own kills .... and Yes I kill things ) I love to fish (and I will put the worm on my hook all by myself!!!) when I say camping I mean grab a tent and sleeping bags and lets go.... I love to hike.... I own a boat and know how to use it! I can start a fire I can track an animal If need be... Im sure I could pee standing up but dont see much of a use for that talent! I own my own bow, camo, and guns My idea of a great outdoors woman is one who can get down and gritty and still look damn cute doing it!!!!

I dont look at social class at all!! I pick a person for who they are. Personality, looks, ect........ I know others have issues though. My family is one of them!!!! I do ok for myself and have a lot to show for hard work all my life. My husband came from some hard luck cause his ex-g/f took all this things.... and he is one to spend his flexable money having fun not buying a million material items. So .. right away my family assumed he was poor and had nothing. Telling them that he makes more than they do didnt seem to matter much to them. SOOO.. right way they think he is after me for money! NOT the case at all. Its been a nightmare trying to deal with them and Im at the point now where Im done with their BS and if they are gonna treat him like this then I wont have anything to do with them. Some people really need to grow up!!!!

i have never sabatoged a relationship... Im very straight forward and if its not working for me then I just say so..... however..... I know a man who has had a very shitty life.... he was an "unwanted" child and after he was 18 his mother turned her back on him. Was a good thing cause she was a bit of a nightmare for the poor guy as he grew up. He had three significant long term relationships in the past and everyone of them ended with her cheating on him or doing some other really terrible thing to him. So... he entered a relationship where feelings developed quickly and they feel in love. No more than a week later he started his sabatoge qimmicks to drive her away... or more so test her to see if she had the strenght for "for better or worse" ... she stuck it out and they are in it for better now!!!!

I agree dmair123... I have found the dates I went on to coffee shops to be very dull and due to this reason they didnt go well at all! I find if the location isnt a bit interesting I would get annoyed and have a hard time just sitting there all uncomfortable and bored... wait... maybe it was the guys that were boring!!!~~~ hmmmmmmm....... I tried a movie theater once.. but the guy was not all that great .. or interesting so that really bit to sit there for 2 hours with him... oh and the movie sucked too!!!! Popcorn was good.............. Lounge or guiet bar was a great option... Twice I was a little stupid and agreed to meet men at their place... NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOUR SAFETY!!!! and lucky for me the dates went great! The first guy was hot and fun to be around! We had a blast drinking wine and watching movies and chatting all night!! The second guy was even hotter and amazing to be around and I ended up marrying him!!!

I do agree with those of you that say sometimes people take it a bit to far... Dating is hard.... Keeping your chin up and saying... I will survive is hard!! Obviously getting a lot of good advice on this on a dating site is not a great idea!
