People don't prefere to say that they have kids because of all of the child preditors out there. Sick people out there will pretend to be interested in a guy or girl just to get to the kids.

I also was married to a compulsive liar. He couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it. He was so good at it I actually lost custody of my daughter at age 14 because of the lies he told in the courtroom. He will never change. He's been a liar all his life.

I fully agree with you Tom, but until all the liberals agree to do something about it (and they won't) better learn spanish. People who are as fed up about this as what I am should right or call their congress people or their senators or even their state reps. And PLEASE don't call them immigrants. Immigrants are those tho came to this country amnd LEARNED our LANGUAGE and CUSTOMS. THEY are illegal aliens. When we go to their countries we have to do according to their customs. When thgey come to the god old USA they don't have to abide by our customs. They still dress like they are in their own country. They should all be shipped out. Think I'm just a bit upset? YES, I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am all for smoking bans. I think that most smokers are so ignorant. What gives them the right to pollute my air with their nasty second hand smoke. Where do smokers usually smoke outside a building? Right in the doorway. I fully agree with banning smoking in restruants and bars. I wish they would put a ban on ALL public places. People should only be able to smoke in their cars (without children) or in their homes if they don't have children. It sickens me to see people smoke in a car where there are children with the windows up. That to me is a form of child abuse. Most smokers care about nopthing more than their precious cigaretts. They would buy cigaretts before they buy food for their kids. The same goes for drinking.

It seems as if the vast majority of us agree that English SHOULD be the only language spoken in this great country of ours. But what are we doing about it? We need to make our voices heard. We need to flood members of congress with phone calls, letters, and e-mail. If we all unite in this common cause I would think that they would have to listen to us. It's was our own government who came up with the pressing 1 for English and putting instruction manuals sometimes in about 10 different languages. I think it is so rude and ignorant for someone to be speaking in a language that the rest of us can't understand

I can honestly understand what you are saying, but you would be surprised how many so called parents DON'T put their kids first and leave their young children home while they get trashed at the bar or other things they do to their kids in the name of "love". I am 51 with a 12 year old son. I also have a 26 year old daughter. They are both very important parts of my life. I, of course, am very picky who I introduce my son to. That is why I don't meet very many guys from a dating site. He's a gr8 kid. Also I have no problem dating a guy who has young children.

e-wok, you said that America should have 2 languages like Canada does. Try buying something and look at the instruction manual. It is a thick book with about 2-4 pages in English. The rest of the book is in Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Tiwan, Pourtigese, Hindu (of all things) and maybe a couple of other languages. I know probably MOST of these languages are misspelled but I think you all get the message. All the languages in this country are just plain wrong. If I was to go and make my permanent home in another country, I would do my best to learn the language. Plus I don't think they would tolerate me NOT learning their language. I know a lot of other people that share my opinion.

I don't actually LIE about my age, but I don't normally tell people my age unless they ask point blank and even then I hesistate about telling them. I can easily pass for 30 or 35. A 26 year old, it seemed, kind of wanted to get something going on with me until I HAD to tell him my age. He actually thought I was around 30.

NY Lady, I agrree with you 100%. I am so sick and tired of having to press one for English and then someone comes on speaking instruictions in Spanish. The government makes it so easy for the illegals to be here. Just look at the instructions when you buy something. In a thick book about 4 pages are in English and about 30 pages are in everything from Spanish to Chinese. You want to be in my country? Learn the language. Or leave!!!!!!!!!

I really like my long hair but I'm having a hard time growing it longer. It's about half way down my back, but the sides are only shoulder length. These are part of the reasons why I cyber school my 6th grade son. Not everyone raises their children like I TRY to raise my son. The thought of sending him to the middle school really scares. He is much safer at home. I realize that I am getting off task from the original post. Just a couple days ago they brought the drug dogs in the middle school and high school. There was 4 kids busted at the high school and 5 at the middle school.

You really want to know what the hell is happening to America? You all aren't going to like my answer. The Democrats being in power and taking over is what's wrong with our country. Everything that is good they are against. They are murdering our innocent babies. They want to take God out of everything. God is very much real and they seem to deny His very existance. Bet it was a Democrat who came up with the separation of church and state. In stores the workers aren't allowed to say Merry CHRISTmas because they might offend someone. Who might they offend? The Muslem terrorists that are in our country? Maybe the Chinese or the Japanese or the Mexicans or the Puerto Ricans. They seem to have no problem offending us Christians though. They even are trying to take God off of our money. The Democrats are the one who want the illegal aliens in this country. They voted no for added border control. They have absolutely no respect for our military. They are so much against the war. They think we should just ignore what happened on 9-11. They are about as anti-AMERICAN as they come. They see nothing wrong with homosexuality. It is not only disgusting, it is immoral and just plain wrong. Read what the Bible says about it. The Democrats are very violent and vulgar. There is definately something wrong when an old man gives an 11 year old child the finger for showing support for an opposing political canidate. Go to a political ralley where both the Republicans AND the Democrats are showing support for their canidates. You will see that the Dems are cursing, shouting and literally snarling. They have mean evil looks on their faces. The GOP on the other hand have pleasant smiles on their faces. They wave at cars passing by (even at the Dems that give us the finger). This is only a small part of my opinion of what is wrong with our country. Ok now for the Democratic hate mail to start pouring in. I probably won't be coming back to this thread again because I don't need to read the hateful responses.

I am so very happy for anyone who has tried and succeeded at quitting smoking. On Jan 1 it will be 6 years for me. I feel wonderful. The only problem is the smokers who are very ignorant and disrespectful of the nonsmokers.

I fully agree with you baby luv that smoking should be banned all over the country. I know exactly where you are coming from. I can't go to concerts or to the races because of all the smokers. The are so ignorant. When they are not allowed to smoke in a building where do they smoke? Right in the doorway so we have to walk past them to go in. I have complained about this numerous times. If the police would do their jobs they would fine them $300.00 for littering everytime they are caught throwing their butts on the ground. A while back my 11 year old son and I were in this one restruant and he had to go past the smokers to get to the bathroom and this one blew smoke right in his face. He was caughing for about an hour. They have absolutely no respect for anyone.

In our county there were more machines that weren't working and working right than those that were. At my voting poll alone, out of the 5 machines that were there, 3 didn't work. There was one man that I heard of who tried to vote straight Republican and the machine marked all the Dem candidates. Maybe that's how they won by a landslide. If the Republicans would have won like that the dems would have demanded recount after recount.

You're about right. I'm certainly not proud of it but I believe I started when I was 13. What made me quit? I basically quit because I didn't want to start having health problems and I was getting up there in age. I just got sick of it. Plus I didn't want my son's health to be affected by my smoke. I can't stand to be around smoke at all right now. I try to stay away from it as much as possible. Smoking should be banned in ALL public places. People should be only able to smoke in their houses and in their cars with the windows up.
