CAMBRIDGE ~ 11 APRIL ~ 7 PM ~ SHERATON COMMANDER

Sounds like a great time to me! and the fact that it's in Cambridge and not Boston makes it even more appealing. Has anyone ever been to The Redline in Harvard Square?

Hi Cooky......I rewrote my profile today because I haven't had much luck with my old one. I had the old one reviewed and was told that it was fabulous....cool, but not many "bites".....please let me know what you think about this one :)

Thanks!

Maybe it was because your profile states that you're "separated" and after giving it some thought, they decided that maybe the risk of becoming involved with someone that technically isn't available was more than they were willing to get into in the long run? The uncertainty of what "separated" means.....the possibility that they could put a lot into a relationship with you, then the separation ends and they're left out in the cold....or on the other hand, if the separation turns into a divorce....then they could possibly become the "rebound"......just a couple of things to consider....that could explain part of it, but for all 4 to do the same thing....I just don't know.......good luck though!

Why are older women not into younger guys???
Posted: 1/29/2007 5:04:51 PM
When I was 40, I casually dated a 25 yr old engineer...off and on for about 2 years - had a lot of fun, there was mutual respect and caring. We both knew that we were at different stages in our lives and that it would never be a committed relationship. We both eventually moved on and had no regrets. My experience with younger men is that they've been more accepting, haven't been jaded by divorces and have been more open to experiencing new things. I've dated older men that never quite got beyond their divorces, really had no intentions of making a committment and admitted to having no idea what they wanted....whether it be as a lover, a FWB situation or whatever. They seem to be drifting through life. The last younger man that I dated (once) was 34 and I felt like I was his mother - felt rather strange. So, I've experienced both good and bad....it really depends on the person. I would love to have common life experiences with whomever I date in the future.

Bogus Profiles?
Posted: 5/16/2006 8:31:55 PM
What would you do in the following situation? I recently dated a man that I really liked and have looked forward to our second date later this week, maybe :) I noticed today that he's changed his profile since the last time I saw it, a few days ago. He changed his occupation and income level. Yea, I see red flags popping up and am trying to decide what to do at this point. I know that the obvious thing is to confront him on this and find out what his reasoning is. Any advice?
