Posted: 9/27/2006 8:35:28 PM I had a cousin who lived on the streets...He was perfectly capable of getting a job, but he told me one day when I was blasting him, why should he do that when he can get money outta the people that do work. He never did buy food with that money and he admitted it...he bought drugs. He is dead now. Serves him right for the life he chose. He could have gotten a job and stayed off the streets, but instead he decided taking money from other people was like taking candy off a baby. No one in my family, and we have a extremely large family, felt sorry for him. None of us felt sorry for him when he died of Aids. No one felt sorry for him when his wife died of Aids. What we did feel sorry for was the poor baby they brought into this world living on the streets and doing drugs. There is no excuse for someone doing drugs. Get a life!!! Posted: 9/27/2006 6:41:27 PM I have been dealt my fair share of trauma in the past few years...I have learnt not to hold stuff in and talk it out with someone. When my mom was killed by hit and run 7 years ago next month, I was in denial and shut it all out. It finally blew to the top one day 2 years ago. I lost control. When I finally seen someone and talked it out, it was like a big wheel was releashed off of me...It took me about 6 months to finally seek out the help I needed. Best thing I ever did....Now, I read alot and have gotten back to being involved with my daughter's skating club and am loving it. I didn't have money in my account, so they let me leave my driver's license and then I went to the bank and got $50 in pennies. I did unwrap them all and put them into a baggie and went back to the gas station and said that this is all that I had. Threw it on the counter. The line up was huge. I just sat back and laughed the whole time and telling people why I did it. Served them right. Not the first time I've done it and will not be the last time either.
