when my nephew was 6 he asked me for a biscuit when i asked him where is please and thank you's are he said he didn't know. so i said to him he better go and find them before he gets one. after an hour searching the garden he came in sobbing his little heart out saying he couldn't find them. yes he got a hug and a biscuit.

Personal Independence Payment will replace Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for people of working age (by this we mean people aged 16-64 on the day Personal Independence Payment is introduced) from April 2013. from next year everyone that is getting DLA will have to reapply for this new benefit unless you under 16 and over 65

Carrot cake with lime yoghurtVegIngredients 115g/4oz butter 115g/4oz light muscovado sugar 3 free-range eggs 115g/4oz self-raising flour splash milk 2 carrots, grated pinch ground mixed spice 1 tbsp olive oil For the lime yoghurt 150g/5oz Greek yoghurt 1 lime, juice only Preparation method 1.Preheat the oven to 220C/425F/Gas 7. Preheat an ovenproof frying pan. 2.Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, adding a little of the flour if the mixture starts to curdle. Beat in the rest of the flour with the milk and then fold in the carrots and mixed spice. Technique: Creaming butter by hand .Watch technique 0:50 mins 3.Add the olive oil to the hot frying pan and swirl it around the sides of the pan. Pour in the carrot mixture and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the carrot cake is well risen and golden brown. Leave to cool slightly in the pan. 4.Meanwhile, to make the lime yoghurt, place the yoghurt in a small dish and stir in the lime juice. 5.To serve, cut the carrot cake into slices and arrange on serving plates topped with spoonfuls of the lime yoghurt.

As "veterans" to these meetings both here and at the "Fox" . People will tell you we have been to virtually EVERYONE of the meetings. The only exceptions were ill health or holidays. All you have to do is ask Beanie - Charlie - and Bridgett. None of the comments were meant to hurt or offend anyone. We do NOT want the meetings to stop. That is why the comments were posted. They were intended to be constructive criticisms. The rule about only 2 posts in 10 makes it harder for anyone to answer people that have asked any questions or help about the night.

dzyre 1960............ I totally agree with you. what's the point of setting up a singles group when no-one is posting on it. why aren't more people posting on here there's nothing to be scared of. Marc you need to make more of an effort to be chatty to the people that are already posting on the forum then you might get more people posting and reading and even contributing to the "discussion" This is not a dig at you Marc but just go and look at other forums and see how the other hosts handle their sites.

why not have good old yorkshire puddings i'm yorkshire born and bred, and you can have these with anything really. savory or sweet the recipe is a cup of plain flour ( the one you make pastry with) a cup of eggs a cup of milk and blend together to make a batter put the oven on the hotest settings put a lttle oil in cup cakes tins and heat up until hot pour the batter half full and bake until golden brown. 20-30 mins
