like prohibition of alcohol in the 20's, all it did was create organized crime and a huge spike in crime. as well as lots of senseless deaths/murders. -if someone wants something (even if illegal, immoral or self damaging) they are going to seek any avenue to obtain it: sex, drugs, alcohol.
(hasn't anyone learned anything from past history).
a sad situation, however the government should not regulate morality or self destruction (its like trying to catch air with your fists) a huge waste of time and money to even consider trying. -would be a better idea just to legalize and regulate these sort of vices. would be easier to keep track of whats going on. as well as taking the profit from black market and criminal factors. the only reason they wont legalize is politicians/government officials want us to feel dependent upon them keeping us safe from the harm cause by crimes committed as to fuel these illegal immoral acts that hurt more people because of its shielding.
