Why are the kids in foster care when you say you want your mom to have them. Usally if there is an able family memeber to take the kids DHS CPS what ever they are called where you live. Usally give the kids to them temporarly till all the issues are worked out. Plus when you go to court they can appoint you and lawyer.You said that you feel like you can't take care of them youself. Why do you feel like that? I am a single mom and I have just lost my job due to cut backs. I am stuggling with children that have mental and emotinal disabilities. It is hard but I do it never put yourself down!!! We as single parents can't always give our children everything that they want. But I at least keep a roof over thier heads give them love and support. If you want you kids back and have them in a loving enviroment that is what they need then fight for them. I know that where I live untill the child is 13 they frown on leaving the child for more than 3-4 hrs alone is abuse (why I don't know!!) I was a latch key kid at 6yrs old. You need to take a breath and calm down. If you go into the courts all frazzled they are going to think that you have more issues and will make you take psy. evals. classes ect. DO IT RIGHT!!!! Don't make the dad out to be a monster!!! Tell the truth be calm and think everything you say through. It will be a long haul but wirth it in the end. Have you even seen the kids over the past few years? Or were you yourself going through a tough time. Hope all goes well good luck.......

When my daghter was about 6 (shes now 12) We were living in Wyoming at the time. It was a very windy day as I was coming out of the local Wal-mart and as the doors open I was blown back into a VERY VERY tall large Jamacian gentleman. Without missing a beat the man says "Windy day hu man" I turned and looked up to this man and said "Yes very windy" I continued to my car and said to my daughter. DANG!! That guy was really good looking. She then Stands up in the cart and yells at the top of her lungs. "HEY MISTER MY MOM THINKS YOUR HOT!!!!!" I turned bright red and pushed the cart to my car in total embaressment.

Mirrors: I see myself in the shatterd mirror. Pieces of me scattered on the floor. I try to pick them up only to cut myself. Then I bleen upon the floor. I can't see through the tears. That are falling to the floor. I sit in the corner scared and alone. No one to guide me through that door. I pick up a piece of mirror and I see myself. Ugly, fat, not worthy of love. The shattered glass pressed to my skin. One quick movement and that is the end. I smile as I see the light. He is there to guide me home. No more will I be ugly. No more will I be scared. I have always been around the strange names......friend in grade school Capri and her last name Sunn. Then there was Skye Blue. and Saffron...My kids have strange names also. Keziah, and then there is Lakota. I always have like the strange and unusal names....lol And an ex friend has named thier kids after "drug" names Mary Jane...then Paul Carter Pertson "PCP" I don't talk to them anymore.....lol. My neighbor upstairs daughter's name is Conception...(she calls herself Connie now)......lol she hate her name and is b-sitting to get the 250.00 to change her name legaly...lol. Zyrus...a neighbor downstairs. Evanston wy. name from there.. Montana Blazing. Not kidding......another Paticent.... Juan Moon, a kid at the store O'syruis....I hear all the weird ones. Juniper Rose Bush (not kidding!) I also work at a call center...her are some names from there... Jesus Christ (used cc) Tequila Rose... Pronounced Ur_een spelled Urine Xoichie.... pronounced Zo_chi

I have 3 kids and I have 3 diffrent ways of dealing with disipline. 12 yr old I take away the ps2 and t.v., The 11 yr old grounding to her room with no privelagies, and the 6yr old naughty chair (he hates it) and will do anything to stay out of it. So I belive that every kid is different. What someone else does may not work for you. If you have found something that works. Then stick with it.....Consitansy is the key. Sorry spelling sucks. But don't do the "let the kids be free" I did that with the first 2 and now even though we have found things that work for "grounding" it took a lot of tears, stress,and pulling out my own hair to get them where we need to be. Without have people look at me like I had demon kids when we were at the store......lol. Hope all goes well gl.

I know what u mean!!! I have nurofribromutiosis (skin tumors) and I did have one on my shoulder that was the size of a softball. When ever I would wear a tank top it would show. Kids would stare in wonder and ask thier parents "MOM!! what is that thing on that ladies shoulder??" Of course the parent would get beet red and shh them I would walk up to the child and tell them itis a tumor that grows on your skin. I would get down to thier level and ask them do you want to see what it feel like. Sometimes they would say yes (of course I had parents ok) and would tell them it feel like shishy stuff and they would put poke pull (sometimes it hurt a little) but no big deal to me. I would rather the child understand then to be afraid. I have always told my kids to be resectful off everyone regardless how they look. My son has a friend now with mils disabilities. But the other kids who live at this house some have sever dis abilites. When we were at thier house last night. My daughter was just amazed and was full of ?'s I exsplained to her that they was they way that they were and that they are here making the world a btter plane and our making perole happy. She said that she was glad that they were her and that they did maker her happy because she gets to help them. My son absoulty loves going there now because he feels also that he gets to help to. I feel that all parents should help thier kids understand why ppl are they way they are disabled or not if we don't teach our kids then they grow into the ones we see on the bus and have to deal with the ingorance or the FLAT OUT rudness that we as a socity have come to learn and live in we have to stop the cycle. We see first hand eveyday on the news about the Hate crimes and the world in such disaray that we are becoming numb to the fact of what we have become. I wish that all parents would teach not only themselvs but thier kids co-workers,bosses,strangers That it is NEVER ok to hurt someone that it is never ok to make someone feel degraded,hated or unloved!!!!

Teachers and their abuse of power Posted: 1/12/2007 1:43:06 PM
Ok here we go 1.when I was a child I was mortified when I teacher brought me up in front of the class and said that if I did not lick the bottom of his shoe he was going to cut my tounge out with siccors. I was in the 3rd grade and said that budwaiser was clysdale pee made my teacher mad. Need less to say I have hated school sence he did other really mean thing to me also (not sexual) Just emotional things. I never told my parents about it because who would they have belived anyhow. The teacher!!!! 2.My kids have had thier fair share of teacher crap. EVERYTIME my kids say that something happend that makes me go mmmm. I call and confront the situation. The last school my kids went (which was in a very "religous" town in wyoming) and because my kids where not that religon. they were treated like crap!!! Now that we are in another state I make sure that I stand up for my kids thier education comes first. I have ripped into plenty of teachers and that the fact of the matter is NO CHILD NEEDS TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT!!!!! Pull him out go to the state board of education!!!! Get it noticed don't let is slide any further than it already has with this "teacher" Hope all goes well.

My daughter askes all the time and so does my son "mom when are u going to get married again so we can have a new dad" I tell them I am not ready to get married again and I know that u want a dad to hang with and to have do the things that I can't do. (Camping,Exsploring the wilderness) We use to live in Wyoming and my sec. Husband who passed away always took the kids to look 4 arrowheads hiking, or things like that. It hurts to know that my kids know that they are missing something. I wish that I could make all go away. I just tell my kids that when the time is right and I find someone that is right for all of us then I might just "Might" get married again till then it is just us I give them a big hug and kiss. Hope this helps hun.

Plz help me I think that I went awry on my profile can anyone tell how to make a better one. What the things that I should or should not say how "open" should I get. Should I be really up front or just be a little gun shy? I am not quite sure it is obviouos that I am not getting hits! Pic sucks I will try to get better ones on soon. I say that I want a realtionship but I am SCARED POOPLESS!!!!!!! I fear everything what if I get me heart broke what if the kids hate him what if he hates them (that one is obvious lol)!! But really how do u do it!! HELP ME 2 PPL!! PLZZZZ I will never introduce any guy to my kids till I think there just might be something "real" there. They have been hurt enough in thier lives. 1st husband left kids were babies 2nd husband passed away. Never again do I want my kids to feel rejected or abandoned. But I feel that I just might be ready to have some fun. Just hope for some GOOD advice. Thanks

Yes I did not read and I am soo soo sooo very sorry!!!!! But it does not matter if it was over a year ago if he ever decides to come back to see the child or try to harm them (exspecialy if DHS) goes after him for the support if she recives any state help. She needs to have some sort of document to prove that these threats were made. If he never comes back GREAT!!! when the child askes don't rip the guy apart but tell the child that the situation was not all that good and mommy and daddy did not get along anymore. That it is not the childs fault but if and when the child is old enough to understand the gory details and can decide that he wants to meet him (if he is still "around") then that will be the time to get a mediator to supervise. Hopefully he might just grow up by then and get the help that he needs. Till then just stay clear like u have been doing good luck hun.

My kids are ages 11,10,and 5 not so much the 5 yr old and I have always tried to be open and honest with them about sexuality about what I want for them and what they feel they want and need. Of course my kids say ewwwwww a guy kissing a guy or ewwwwwww girl kissing a girl thats just gross!!! LOL and I have told them when they get old enough to decide who they want to kiss they will know and if they want to kiss a guy (sons case) or vise versa it will be ok with me all I want for my kids is that they will do good in life and get the education the they deserve!! I know that what ever road they choose will be a hard one just be cause that is the way life is. If your ex can't figure this out she needs to be the one in counsling!! I asked my son one day if it would bother him if I ever wanted to date another woman he looked at me and said mom will it make u happy. I told him well hun I don't ever want u to feel uncomferable with anyone that I am around (because I now have a few lesbian friends) and would like to have them over for dinner one night. He said mom just like you have told me if it will make you happy and thats what you want then go for it! My daughter freaked out and I asked her why she said that it was just wrong. I asked her why is it wrong she said it just dosen't seem right. I told her if that what you feel that is fine but don't ever make someone feel ashamed about how they feel. Unless they are hurtful or mean or just plain spiteful then stand up for what u belive. But anyhow back to the matter at hand YOUR daughter!! Stand up for her take it to court these days stuff like that is consiered a "hate" type issue and it needs to be addressed and fast you don't want your daughter to be angry or to feel ashamed that will cause a lot of issues with her in the long run. Really sit down with her discuse all the things that can come from being sexually involved with someone male or female. Let her know that you will always love her no matter what. I know that it can be unnerving. Just be open and honest with all things. I hope that your ex will pull her head out of her butt soon. But if your daughter is old enough to decide and you feel you are ready for the daughter to come live with you then do the right thing.

Ok ya'll watching news a mother just greased her baby up and stuck the 11 month old in the oven. Turned the oven on 450 because the father of the child was leaving her!!!!! CALL THE POLICE REPORT HIM!!!!! Plzzz Ppl are sick and twisted these days you can never take anything "lightly" by thinking Oh he is just blowing off steam he is trying to manipulate the situation!! or She is just trying to get me to stay. If it goes to far u all may end up dead!!! and no one wants that. Yes sometimes you can "pick" your battles but obvious this battle has picked u!! REPORT REPORT REPORT REPORT!!!! Do not take this lightly plz for your sake and that of your baby.

I have been a widow for 4 yrs now and have been on ONE date!!! It is very hard after going through something like that but keep your chin up someday you will find that one person that u can truly love again. For me personaly I think it is going to be another 4 yrs till I find that special someone lol.

They will find you when light hits laying on the floor Screams will peirce the morning air. Looks like you just did not care. They will come for you wrap your body in a bag. Take to to the place where the smells are bad. Family will come and cry for you. Friends will want to die and take a moment or two. For remebering you will be so hard. Black clouds circle my head. Below my feet are the dead. Knives have been bloodied. Thier faces I have studied. All I hear is thier childrens screams. Please dear God tell me this is a dream! Open my eyes to were the bodies lay. What have I done? What have I done I say! I can taste the blood in cheeks. I'm feeling it run feeling it leak. As I look the sun is rising. I can feel that I am dying. I flee as fast as I can. Running from that thing I call Man! Down below I go. To the depths that no one will know. I shiver as I try to sleep in that corner. Ubove me I hear the morners. I wish that I could stop this. I know that there is one thing I miss. The sun Oh the glorius sun! SHH I hear them comming. They have found my place! Oh God make this quick! I hear them shout there he is! KILL HIM!!! The steak plunges deep in my heart....... I see it, I See it the sun OHHH the glouris sun.
