Hey there , I have had that happen on yahoo . I had to close out everything turn off the computer and even kill the power strips to the modem . Then wait a few min. before slowly powering up everything and getting back on line . The red "X" in little boxes when away . Good luck to you . leafslady is right too .

Wow just over 3 months on here and I've met some very nice women and been on some great dates . Women making first contact has slowed down recently ; maybe I need to put up more photos ?

When you leave the age range open don't be surprised who shows up . However there is no excuse for others to become rude or offensive becuase they don't match with what you want . For the average person the age range is usually tighter to there own age the younger they are . Exception examples abound : sugar daddies for Anna Nicole Smith , sugar mommas like Liz Taylor ( with her last guy ) , daddy complexes , "trophy" wives for mid-life crises / CEOs ... I think it's about finding the "right fit" & one small indicator is age and It's the rest that matters most . The older people get the greater the age spread seems not to matter to them or the public ( like they matter ) . A spunky 80 yr old & a slow 50 yr old probably a good fit , eh ?

The US really can live without the rest of the world . We choose not to abandon the rest of the Theme Park ( Earth ) to the "evil doers" . All US wars are about $$$ . Until 911 the terrorist hadn't cost us enough . Afghanistan was the easiest place to start with the most to up root and whacking the Taliban was a humanitarian bonus for the locals . Iraq had it coming as Gulf war 1 part b . Both countries serve as examples to the world that Vietnam won't stop us from hitting back . And I'm OK with preemptive strikes too . Who wants to trade Toronto for Tehran after the nuke goes off ? The MAD doctrine worked once and too many close calls occurred . Iran & N. Korea can play stupid if they want . We import as much of everything we want becuase "We can" . Work harder and smarter maybe you can catch up this century . I could understand lots of complaining if the US was on an Empire building , asset grabbing , slave collecting rampage . I don't care for Bush or the $ people that put him in office ; he's a goofy puppet . Follow the $ here & abroad . Individual based terrorism can't be stopped in a "free" society . However the large scale stuff can be stopped by stopping the $ ; follow it to the source and cut it off . I don't care where the $ guys are Whack em . When the families of vest wearing bombers in Israel were getting $ from TV telethons in Saudi Arabia the Isrealis should have blown the place up while it was broadcasting its fund raiser . That's following the $ .

The Iranians occupying the US embassy in Tehran and taking hostages , the marine barracks getting blown up in Beirut , the USS Cole bombing , 2 US embassies in Africa bombed , the barracks in Saudi Arabia truck bombed , World trade Center car bomb and then 911 . This leave many other events and attempts out . So the war in Iraq put the US in danger ? The Muslim anger is stoked by their own governments to keep the masses blaming the US and Israel for their poverty . We let the Nazis and the Empire of Japan go to long and far before stomping them . We spent Trillions of US $ to somewhat contain the USSR & China . Grab a globe and recolor a world with an isolationist US policy for just the 20th century . Go ahead I dare ya ! ****-in Chicken ! A world divided between Nazis , Empire of Japan , Commie China and the USSR . Are you happy ? You want to live under any of those ? How about the Taliban ? After the Holocaust many said "never again" and yet it has happened repeatedly and I'm ashamed that the civilized parts of the world don't stop it . Evil sometimes must be met with force . And yes collateral damage happens . Grow up , grow a brain and how about a spine too . Not that we should have to but the US could live without the rest of the world . Could you live without US ? You would be a slave to which Empire of the 20th century ? Or just dead ?

Sounds biblical ! Check out the old testament just barely breed-able females & 400 year old men . I hear that 13 is legal in Italy !? How about the USA 50 different standards if you include : marriage , which party above or below some age , has pregnancy already happened , gay or not , parents for or against .... I don't know the answer for others . People are so different .

Spidey senses ! That's it in a nut shell . I've been in some odd places , countries , allies , bars and where ever . You have got to look out ahead and be aware of your surroundings and the people . And just as you should keep track of fire exits , you should keep track of exit strategies for : dates , bars , parties , traffic jams , carjackings , natural disasters . You gotta have a plan before the sh!t happens . By the way , I have had women drag me into plenty of dangerous situations with me b!tching the whole way .

Yea I used to do this stunt . It sorta worked . Strange mixed results . Best estimated stats. : 50% walked on stunned or something , 10% listened and seemed to contemplate it , 10% gave out bogus phone # , 10% gave right phone # but changed their minds at first phone call , 20% went on a date with me . I did this one April and by June I was dating 3 women at the same time and run ragged , sleep deprived and almost broke . What a summer . Sure the 80% rejection rate hurt at first . That which does not kill you makes you stronger . The first challenge is starting ( just do it ) , the second is trying to keep the banter fresh and listen for clues to modify or desist the approach ( do analyze results as soon as possible ; keep a journal if you must ) , third carefully sort the catches and prioritize the keepers ( catch & release policy ) . "If you keep doing what you've always done you'll aways get what you've always got ." I don't know who said that . And yet . The definition of crazy is doing the same thing over & over and expecting different results . Practice makes perfect .

It's like driving . Take the "wheel" and point it somewhere else . Try not to over steer . Take a vacation , avoid the usual locations , eat somewhere else , change the channel or turn it off , change your search parameters on POF , switch chemicals or stop , rearrange your furniture , get up insane early and exercise ?

I have met the parents on a few first dates and I sorta wished I could have dodged the experience . However if I were a parent nowadays I might have to invite him in to photo him , photo copy his license & vehicle reg & insurance card And maybe show him hunting souvenirs .

I support the death penalty . However it is a slippery slope . The US judicial system is a freak show of : money , corruption , politics , TV , local kingdoms , racism , classicism , incompetence , illogical , .... A few years ago Virginia , USA added 30 something more death penalty laws . Like how did we over look those crimes before ( we already had the D P for a few decades ) . A friend of mine who is a law and order freak and works in law enforcement . He was promoting how good the new get tough laws where and I challenged him to name the the newest 30 death penalty laws and he couldn't even start . I asked him how is the average person gonna know where the "line" is . He didn't like my logic .

I've seen a few I liked a lot . I took a peek at the online Indian matrimony web sites some hotties . I don't yet understand the cast hierarchy , mother tongue significance , manglik and other nuances of Indian marriages . When the Brits were in India there was mingling and as Indians have moved about the planet there has been a variety of genetic cross pollinating .
