Well I'm not moving to Sask but I am coming out for Christmas. A couple of years ago you POFers had a party happening in saskatoon on boxing day. Anything happening this year???

Planning for Thanksgiving at Manning 2 annual Posted: 6/16/2007 10:15:57 AM
Well last years Pre-thanksgiving dinner was a blast so it's not likely that I'll be missing the second annual dinner. Mind you if we have the same amount of food this year as we did last we're definately gonna have to have more people in attendance to eat it. So as it stands right now I'm in... only something drastic will prevent me from attending.

Well I put up a bunch of the pics I have...FINALLY like I said before PLEASE email me if you want copies of all the pics I have as not all were posted. There were way too many to put them all up. This way I can do a mass emailing and save a little time and effort...lol ENJOY!!!

Todd and Marion Thank you both soooooo much for taking time out of what is a very buisy time in your lives to make this happen You are truely great people!!! I have a tonne of pics and will be posting them later tonight or within the next few days. I will not be putting all of the pics I have up as there are way to many, if anyone wants me to send them all the pictures please email me and I'll do a mass emailing in a few days.

K so what is the new list for the pot-luck? I'd like to know what needs to be brought out as I'm going shopping tomorrow. Should I bring out some paper plates and buns or should I bring something else??? HELP me make up my mind please!!! I will be bringing out some wood and my book for quotes of course...lol

^^^ This event is actuall on the Vedder River and I wouldn't put a seadoo in that, but Chilliwack lake isn't too far up the road. Now to clear up the confusion regarding site 22. That site is in fact reserved for spudO'tool site 21 is reserved for crikey555. I called and talked to the mangament there for a while last night... this is gonna be an awesome time (as usual). CBF - unfortunately I most likely will not be able to bring my BBQ this time out...(sorry) but I will see what I can do about getting a load of firewood. I'll post in a couple of days what I'm bringing to the potluck(s)... after I've decided what to make/bring... any suggestions? Does anyone have a Bocci set they can bring with them... this area is great for extreme bocci. (days and counting)

K I have 3 sites booked for lookin4umydear, jspudotoole and myself. I'll be talking to the staff there probably tomorrow and see what's left for reservations and will post as soon as I get the info. I have a feeling that handystef will be acompanying me like the last couple of campouts but this time he has a POF name not just a tag along...lol Can't wait to see all my favorite camping fishies

Hi I know the staff there and they are steadfast about not being able to make reservations until after the easter long weekend. So everyone do like I did and set your cel phone alarm to go off on April 10th at 6pm so you can get the site(s) you want. I'm not sure what the fishing will be like as the river will be really high and fast at this time of year.

I'd have to go with an alsakan malimute huskey... they're big, strong, loyal protective, happy to see you when you get home,don't complain too much, to top it off they're warm and cuddly... not to mention all you need is one to pull a small dag sled to go winter camping
