Okay I have to ask if anyone else is having this issue. When I check my inbox it is empty, but when I get into the forums, at the top of the page it says that I have 3 messages. When I click on the green 3 messages, it takes me back to my inbox which is empty. Anyone else having this issue? I will be calling Teejays on Saturday morning and telling them how many people will be there if more than 4 sign up. If not I won't. I wasn't going to make this a formal event just something for those of us that want to get out to do. Anyway I intend to be there about 10:30 to 11:00 on Saturday.

I am doing chili in the crock pot and man it smells good. The only thing that would make it better would be if I had some of that pumpkin pie and whipped creme for afterwards.

To answer the original question, I think that people, most people in fact, equate sex with intimacy. They don't understand that you can have one without the other. So in looking for that intimacy they feel the only way to get it is to have sex.

I don't need to know the why. I just need to understand that the person that said that they loved me more than likely has no concept of what that word really means. I think that is a large part of the reason that we see the breakups that we see. People don't truly understand what the word Love truly means. Or they have used it so much that they have forgotten that it is a word that is like a promise. Not something that is to be given lightly or often. Again self accountability and self responsibility are two things that are needed to understand how a relationship truly works. The give and take of it if you will.

I tried a couple of times today to call her and got the voice mail so I will try tomorrow and see what happens. I am going to sign up for Saturday but with the understanding that I might not make it. I was at the doctor's today and have pneumonia in both lungs so, it all depends on how fast the antibiotic will work.

She called me this morning around 7 and let me know. I can't visit her because of the fever that I have. Flu bug or something but I won't go until I know that I am not contagious. So someone please keep us up to date on the thread. I know that she said that they were going to do surgery today, and I think she was looking at early afternoon.

Wideband has what he said right. But I think that there is more to what is being asked here than just the "lead the relationship" statements that were made by the above poster. "I mean if a women is very honest and respectful with a guy and he takes it the wrong way or feels as though the two of you are seeing who's egos are bigger when it's not that type of party. They seem as though your suppose to be a typical women and act the part. Says who?" I think that she thinks that men think there is such a thing as "typical women" and they want her to act like one. Now, given that I haven't a clue what the OP thinks that a typical woman is, I can't really answer her in an informed manner. What I can do is say that I like a door opened for me, I like a man to take the lead when we dance, and I really do appreciate the offer of help now and again. What I don't like is being treated like I am stupid or weak or don't have a clue as to what I am talking about especially when it comes to things mechanical. I was in an autoparts store recently can you tell? So I think what she is asking is what is it about women that aren't afraid of standing on their own two feet, taking care of things on their own, and not being dependent on a man that makes men feel threatened? OP if I am wrong please correct me....

avision I was thinking the same thing until I talked with my doctor today. He is a smoker as well. He said that alot of his patients that weren't successful any other way were successful with the e-cigarette because it isn't only the nicotine that people are addicted to. But there is also an oral fixation and what to do with my hands thing. The good news is that I can slowly cut the amount of nicotine in the cartridges down to where there is none at all but still take care of the oral fixation and the what to do with my hands thing.

I have an issue that causes me not be able to use the quit smoking aides. So the next best thing is that I am waiting as I type this for one of the electronic smoking units to get here to see if that will work for me. I will let you know how that goes.

Okay I know where that one is too. Jack there is a Kroger in the same strip mall and it is sort of the corner of West Broad Street and North Wilson Road. I think that they actually call the street that runs in front of it Soldano. Or something close to that.

I know it was mentioned, but did anyone ever decide if going to Hometown Buffet was a good idea or not afterwards? If so it might be a good idea for someone to call and let them know that we were going to be there, even if there isn't an exact number known. Just a thought.

I know that at some point something was said about posting video on Youtube. Please be aware that Youtube will only allow videos of under 10 minutes. So you would want to break it up into 9 minutes and 59 seconds segments.

I was just sitting down to the computer as I was taking a full load of classes. They put a big splash page up, saying that classes were cancelled and all access online would be down for 48 hours. That is when the tv came on and I sit and cried while on the phone with my dad. We had a heck of a time locating my brother who was in the Pentagon that day.
