Gender-based profile and emailing discrepancies
Posted:

have to agree with OP in almost everything he says. men, please read it. i have several friends (women) on internet sites and very few times have any of us initiated emails. we all have gotten off the bigger sites ( m a t c h / y a h o o / etc) because it is unworkable to even view a percentage of the emails. the one thing i would disagree with is not looking at profiles over looking at pics. i respond to most emails and always look at the profile and think that is the case with other women.
thank you OP, even if it is more a blog or something than a forum topic. one of the reasons i try and respond to most emails is so i don't get the nasty emails if i just delete without responding.

Ladies: Do you like men with dyed hair?
Posted:

i much prefer natural, to the extent that i would be surprised if i dated a guy with dyed hair, but if he is comfortable with it, go for it, or the combover, or the toupe that is purple under neon lights. regardless of how he wears his hair, he is making a statement about himself. that is why i prefer natural hair (or lack thereof), because i prefer a natural man.

Women Over 40 Between Relationships

only been doing this online thing for a few months, the majority of guys that email are after sex, the majority i meet do seem to want a long term thing, but to the point of the topic, i tend (tend? hell) to not have sex in between.
as an aside...... how many women have been offered money?

smiles bride, you are right, but not easy to do, don't want to hurt anyone, but i do know in time i will be hardened to it, tho that seems a shame, thank you

rude emails that spoil your POF experience

smiles, agrees with sweetiee, i am new on here but already am beginning to dread opening my mail. there is not enough time in the day to respond fully. i wish guys would understand that you need to make some quick decisions and just don't have time to ponder and deliberate. i can deal with those posing sexual things, it is the mean ones that hurt. i have only been on here a couple of days but am considering leaving, although it is universal to all sites it seems. guys, it is not personal, i bet you would not want to date every girl on here. no response, or not the response you wanted is not directed at you personally.

responses to emails

i have gotten emails from guys an hour after they first wrote telling me to f*** off cause i haven't responded to them. it does hurt, sometimes i don't even want to check mail. every email i send is polite, even when they want to know why i am not interested in them. guys, please understand that 2-3 hours a day replying is enough. if i can't respond to you please understand it is not cause i am a ****, i do try.
