Humans created by Aliens: Plausible theory?

Dudes. Humans are the result of genetic experiments conducted on chimpanzees or their relatives way back when. The Reticulans have since been visiting us on a regular basis. I would inform you of more of their activities, but I would be banned from the site.

IF A TREE FALLS IN A FOREST, AND NOBODY IS AROUND, DOES IT MAKE A SOUND???
Posted: 2/11/2009 12:58:51 PM
Realism and Idealism are but two schools of thought in the Limitless Void of the Mind that the work of philosophy is designed to fill.
Ask an idealistic question and you will get an idealistic answer. Ask an idealist a question about reality and you will still get an idealistic answer. Philosophical questions must be asked and answered within the context of a specific philosophy.
I like to pick a philosophy first and then formulate questions and answers within the context of that philosophy.
Philosophy does not begin with questions and arrive at answers. It begins with a set of philosophical claims which are considered a school of thought. For example, the ontological (the study of being) claims of the Aristotelian school include the premise that there are two worlds, the world of ideal forms and the world of material objects in which we live. A material object is what it is because it has been acted upon by the metaphysical force of an ideal form. Aristotle's famous example of the acorn and the oak tree comes to mind.
The acorn becomes the oak tree because it has been acted upon by the metaphysical force of the ideal form of the oak tree.
This is also why Plato tells us that philosophers are the best lovers. But that is another subject.

IF A TREE FALLS IN A FOREST, AND NOBODY IS AROUND, DOES IT MAKE A SOUND???
Posted: 1/31/2009 4:51:48 PM
I should probably have been more specific.
In his work, "Sense Data and Sensibilia" Bertrand Russell actually asks the question, "If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?" He is credited with being the original author of this question.
Regardless of how you look at the historical treatment of the 'subject', Russell is the source of this intellectual motif and is responsible for it being imprinted on the minds(?) of so many people today.
I do like the differentiation between sound and vibrations. Nice catch. Russell also noted this in his work.
And yes, like so many other philosophers, Russell was undoubtedly influenced in his pursuit of the distinction between 'the perceived' and 'the phenomenon which creates the perceived' by those who came before him. For, as we all know, great minds think alike.
Russell, as a philosopher of consciousness, placed the existence of experienced phenomenon within consciousness itself. Such that phenomena do not occur without consciousness to experience them. Consciousness, then, is the origin of phenomena. Phenomena, however are not dependent on conscious for their occurence.
Phenomenology, then, becomes in part, a philosophy of science. Phenomenology recognizes the use of scientific instruments, the application of statistics and the objective verification through experimentation of any theory used to describe an independent phenomenon. Furthermore it recognizes that observations of phenomena are dependent upon the observer and his tools.
So. How independent of consciousness are phenomena? Well. They are kind of independent and kind of not independent. It is a dialectical thing. But that is another subject.

Need Your Advice Guys!!!
Posted: 1/31/2009 4:11:16 PM
If I were him I'd get a dog for companionship and a woman for sex. Exclusively in both cases.
I'd say send him my resume, because it sounds like he needs some help, but I live in Orlando, FL.
No, he doesn't need you to be his friend. He obviously felt a passionate connection with you and you abused the privilege of being non-exclusive because you didn't have it in writing yet.
Why do women think they are the only "person" in the relationship? Because they are not dogs.
You do not want him the way he wants you, and he knows it. He also knows the two of you do not belong together.
If he were my buddy I'd rent a couple of Harley's, and go from bar to bar till we found some women who just want to be loved.

This is Bertrand Russell's fault. He started this s*** with his essay, " Sense Data and Sensibilia" where he posits a distinction between sound and the phenomenon of the sound being heard. My response to Russell is this, "If a Bear s***s in the woods, and there is no one there to smell it, does it stink?"

Can men deal with NOT getting blowjobs?
Posted: 11/27/2008 8:42:32 PM
I have inspired many women to pleasure me orally. Most of them have an orgasm of their own while doing so. These are my Rules Regarding Blow Jobs: 1) I always allow the woman to bring up the subject. 2) Not getting head is better than getting lousy head. 3) If I get great head.... and she stops prior to completion... I dump her. Unless the **** is outstanding! 4) If I get great head, but just once and only once in a one month period, I let her know something is wrong. 5) In an intimate relationship, her issues are my issues. I respect her boundaries, and she respects mine, or it is over. 6) When her girlfriends offer you the ****, go for it!!!!

Tantric Sex and the Orgasm
Posted: 9/15/2008 1:53:36 PM
I am a natural at Tantrick sex. How do I know?
1) Most chicks experience orgasm as soon as I enter them. Some require technique, but I don't mind the extra work.
2) Some chicks can feel me inside them as soon as we meet.
3) I have made chicks float on air, leave their bodies, and see fireworks. Or maybe Cosmic Nebulas. I'm not sure.
Tips:
If she is on a power trip, find another girl.
Be completely accepting of your partner.
Share your male power with her.
Pay attention to her with your heart chackra.
Be a giver, not a taker.
"Let me make you come" is your silent mantra
Tantrick lovemaking is an act of devotion to the Goddess in your lover
You know you are doing it right when she says, "That was Tantric."

That was insensitive of me.....
Posted: 12/12/2007 8:45:51 PM
ALWAYS include the details. You were with an older man shortly after the death of your father..... NORMAL ..... Women often have a natural attraction to older men when feeling that particular vulnerability. You were probably unaware that you were reacting to the loss of your father. Also NORMAL. No one wants to project that vulnerability to people they cannot trust.
You get labelled.... father-fixation, etc.

It is good that you told me to screw myself. That is a sign of strong personal character.

When you begin to trust someone that vulnerability will eventually come out. So, ALWAYS include the details. The jerk who left you probably sensed your vulnerability and was threatened by it. A partner's vulnerability is a demand that we many times are not prepared for.

Sometimes two people can work through it and sometimes the jerk will run away. You may feel sad because you feel rejected/abandoned. This is grief. And I am the worst person in the world to talk to about grief. For a long time it was the strongest emotion in my life.

I arrange flowers for my anger management therapy.

Sorry I didn't read your post sooner.
Peace

Posted: 5/2/2006 9:43:07 AM
You are incapable of a living relationship with anyone but your imaginary playmates. Any experienced man can see right through the games you play to fulfill your demented power trips. The only men who will ever continue a relationship with you are those who enjoy being a yo-yo on your string. Do the men of the world a favor and stick to boy toys. Women like you are the reason men own punching bags. Keep this up and one of these days you are gonna get **** slapped..... or worse. For your own safety, seek professional help.

If a team of archaeologists were to unearth the remains of American civilization in the year 2095 AD, and all they had upon which to base their evaluation of the 1980's were detailed financial records of the United States government and copies of all the major political philosophies in the history of mankind, they would conclude that the United States of America was a Marxist nation and that President Ronald Reagan was the candidate of the American Marxist Party.

The guy spent money like a Marxist!

When every major industry of a nation is financed from the raw materials stage through the production and marketing stages by deficit government spending, that nation is practicing Marxist economics.

There are several non-Marxist features to the American economy. Fee-simple ownership of real estate, the lack of a state-controlled economy, the absence of social programs for the poor, the indigent and the elderly, unaffordable medical care and health insurance, privately controlled pension funds, and others.

These features constitute inequities in a class based economic system which would not exist in a Marxist state once that state had completely abandoned its psuedo-capitalistic spending policies. It is unknown whether or not President Reagan was truly concerned with eliminating these inequities, but his spending priorities indicate that he was willing to continue exploiting lower economic classes indefinitely.

Hume has been called the philosopher's philosopher primarily because he was able to confound those around him with hypothetical scenarios. These scenarios, while controversial, never constituted a threat to the status quo or conventional world-views of his age. Consequently, he is regarded as one of the most politically correct philosophers of all time. That is how he kept his job and built his career.

He was also quite fond of cabbage and introduced his Mum's recipes for cabbage soup to the University of Edinburgh cafeteria lady. It was featured daily. I myself keep a pot of Hume's Cabbage Soup either simmering or chilling at all times.

I take it the bonus question was more than you could handle. Well, we all have our limitations.

A consiousness of cause and effect in the material world necessarily must begin with an understanding of the inexorable world of Karl Marx. For Marx, the material world was the only world. And the world, you see, is a continuous series of financial transactions.

As much as I like butterflies and sunsets, the phenomenon of their existence and the consequences of their actions have little to do with paying the bills. Whereas the economic impact of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma could eventually lead to the revolutionary overthrow of the United States Government.

Bonus question. Differentiate between the body of laws and policies we know as Reaganomics and the economic principles of Karl Marx.

Why does this matter? Because we are still paying for Nancy's china.

Why are you crying? And why can't you stop? You made yourself psychologically vulnerable. You were too trusting, too desperate for affection, too lonely, and you let yourself get hurt.
You lent too much reality to this fantasy we call on-line fishing. And the suffering you have caused yourself won't go away until you make the psychological choice to stop crying and stop suffering. That is all I can do from here. Maybe a night of "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" reruns will turn off the fountain. Unless you are prone to manic behavior, in which case you should have your lithium levels checked. Learn from this. 90% of all men on line are perverts. This banana cracks me up!
