guys who send you texts/piccys of their nether regions....
Posted: 12/5/2006 2:16:08 PM
Ive often wondered whether this practice constitutes flashing! as if it does then it is illegal and could result in an arrest for indecent exposure, unless of course you both consented to the pics!!???

why do women call so many times !!
Posted: 10/16/2006 8:21:49 AM
In reply to message 26 There are ways of being sensitive to peoples feelings while being honest, better than misunderstandings! Personally i couldnt snog someone i wasnt physically attracted too, if this is happening to you a lot then maybe you should question your approach!!

I think people should always be honest, even in the early stages about what they want or expect from relationships. I think that it's when girls / blokes are left wondering, that's when obsessive behaviour kicks in.
I agree with the previous statement left wondering!! Get the green light all the way then all of a sudden red light stays on, ambiguous or what! Be straight from the onset then there is no miss understandings

Maybe you lead them to believe there was hope of things developing, isnt that where most relationships start, by getting to know someone!

Dam Doctors
Posted: 10/10/2006 3:03:38 PM
All government is interested in is meeting targets! its not about people anymore! They are in the process of downgrading or closing a number of hospitals in the south and moving services out into the community. The GP s can't cope now! they often refer patients to hospital without even seeing the patient and assessing them! no wonder there are so many inappropriate admissions to hospital.

Jack Straw v The Veils
Posted: 10/8/2006 2:06:24 PM
I seem to remember a little while ago there was an article about muslim women and driving license/passport photos, why should they be any different when it comes down to official documents. And in this time of unrest with bin laden still at large who's to say he is not behind one of thoses veils!!

Muslim cabbie refuses to take guide dog??
Posted: 10/8/2006 8:59:24 AM
The bad current wasnt created by the media, its been created by certain
muslims or groups who want everything their own way and for British society
to bend and change the rules to suit them, though they themselves have no
intention of relaxing their laws while living in our country. Its pure hypocrisy.
If their is bad feeling towards them they have no one to blame but themselves
and their draconian traditions. Most religions have transformed over the years and
moved with the times so that they are less alienating to the people who preach
them.
IMO it is more to do with the ridiculous politically correctness that has gone mad! Usually started by some white do gooder who thinks certain things will upset people from different belief cultures, for example a picture of a pig in a post office is suppose to offend people from a culture that do not eat pork. Or the fact that a white man couldnt go for a job as a policeman because the jobs was for people of ethnic minority (wonder who thought that one up?) oops probably opened a can of worms now!

if you witnessed an assault would you intervene?
Posted: 9/20/2006 4:07:34 PM
Well it was on his property and it wasnt like he poured it down their throats....and i never said it was poison, i could see that would be reason to worry... but is it not also unexceptable to allow someone to be tortured day after day and have no means to stop it!

Mess 15
Good point! even people protecting their property have been sent down for injuring the burgler. What on earth is society coming to!! There was a story in the local paper recently about a man who had been tormented and victimised for years by youths, eg attacking him, graffitti and damage to his property. One day he left a bottle of something not very nice on his doorstep in an old whiskey bottle, the youths nicked it and drank it and were very ill and the man was going to be procecuted. Luckily common sense prevailed and he wasnt.

Iwould like to think that if it was me getting attacked someone would help but i can understand why people don't want to get involved. You hear so many things in the press where people have gone to someones aid just to have the attackers turn on them, scary stuff! sad state of affairs!

Im hoping this hasnt been done, i looked and can't see anything similar. If it has i apologise in advance. I was wondering if anyone witnessed an assault if they would get involved in any way?

British joke
Posted: 9/20/2006 1:24:27 PM
man goes into chemist and asks the assistant where the tampons are?
she points to the 3rd aisle, a few minutes later
he returned to the cash desk with a ball of string and some cotton wool.
The assistent looking puzzled said i thought you wanted tampons" the man replys
" its like this the other day i asked my wife to get me some cigarettes while she was out,
she returned with tobacco, papers and filters
and said how much cheaper it was to roll your own,
so i thought she could do the same

backing down
Posted: 9/20/2006 12:56:36 PM
This thread reminded me of a joke i heard recently:
A man and his wife have been arguing and neither
will back down and lose!
So they go to bed giving each other the silent treatment,
suddenly the man realises he needs his wife to wake
him up at 5am for a buisness trip
so not wanting to break the silence he leaves her a note,
where he knows she will find it!
In the morning the man wakes up to discover to his horror
that it is 8am and he has missed his flight
he is just about to have ago at his wife for not waking him,
when he see a note saying,
" Its 5am wake up!! (Apparently men are not equipped for this sort of contest)!

Internet relationships - am I missing something?
Posted: 9/19/2006 2:08:23 PM
I think you can develop feelings for someone online you have never met, if you spent time chatting and getting to know someone, not necessarily love though. i was talking to a guy for a while and organising to meet up then all of a sudden didnt hear from him, started to think here we go just another timewaster or player! then a few days later he comes online on his laptop from his hospital bed awaiting surgery on a blocked vessel to his heart, just shows you just don't know do you and unless there are other means of contact, you might never know what happened to them!

Smoking !!
Posted: 9/19/2006 1:39:30 PM
In response to message 7, I would just draw your attention to the fact that smoking in its self causes, heart attacks and blood clots/strokes not forgetting the respiratory problems so smokings side effects out way those of Zyban. Not preaching as i am an ex smoker and hope to continue, and it is hard to give up! message 16 is spot on, in the end you just get fed up, whether its the cough, the smell, the cost or any other reason.

paying your way
Posted: 9/18/2006 8:45:33 AM
Of course they should pay their way if they are working and earning and if their wages go up then i think rent should go up accordingly, if their wages decreased im sure we would reduce the rent for them if it was through no fault of their own. You can always increase the amount of chores around the house that need doing! My eldest is a nightmare at the moment, flitting from one job to the next, not knowing what he wants to do! Happy days

Body image
Posted: 6/2/2006 5:42:32 AM
Forgive me for being a bit late on this subject just joined, i think we spend our lives trying to work out what would attract the opposite sex but frankly its down to having a connection with someone if you are attracted to each other your body image goes out the window why try and be someone else.if they dont like you for who you are then they are not the right person for you and you will just spend your whole time together living up to what they want you to be and not allowing you to be yourself jublue x
