Why are the young people on here?

i didnt take it as an instult. i was stating my point. i have numerous friends all my age who also have all the same responisibilities as i do and they've all turned to online dating.

fact of the matter is when you were our age things were much different as it will be when the next generation of 20 somethings will be from when we were in our 20's.

I have noticed quite a large fish population here amoung the 18-25 age group.

My question to all of you, men and women alike is......

I can understand older people being here... moms, dads, business, those of us having to care for their own parents etc.... but what I don't understand is the need to be on an internet dating site for all you young, obigation free, im hoping child free, people who are out there just starting your lives. Those again that I assume are out and about having a good time with your peers.....

i am a full time student completing my 2nd degree..
i also work fulltime ontop of school and work out 4-5x a week
im not into the club scene- and most of the guys there are pigs anyway.

age has nothing to do with being on a dating site.

"young" people have busy lives too!
and maybe we like being on dating sites because it gives you the ability to pre-screen and get to know someone a little bit before going blind into a date not knowing anything at all about the person.

that being said.. you my dear are only as old as you feel... maybe you should take some of your own advice and get out and enjoy life.

Hi, I have just recently joined and have not met anyone on in person because I would rather chat to people first.
I have just had two of the most disgusting msgs from Deano188.
We have chatted maybe three times because I am not online very often. He seemed extremely sweet.
Until he realised I was not meeting him for sex!!
I didnt think this was a place just to meet for sex. Thought it was to make friends and meet new people.
I am so glad I did not meet this guy because he seems sweet in writing but would would have happened if I had actually met this creep?


hun alot of guys are like this. its called busting an inflated ego.
they think theyre all hot and stuff and it hurts when a good looking girl turns a guy down
ive had it before too. talked to a guy who seemed like a sweetie. and when i turned him down hes like fu*k you ur a fat ugly whore anyway

and im sure girls do the same thing too
they try to bring u down with them.. dont let it get to you because if u do. they win.

i concur on this. thus admin should be a little more strict on ome of the pictures that are accepted ie- a guy who post a pic of "ac slater" or "zac morris" or some other star.
i also concur on that.. but if a guy refuses or says that he doesnt have pctures it makes you wonder what hes up to - kinda fishy if u ask me.

I opened two distinctly different sites. The physical description is accurate on both....so don't worry, it's not a big headgame....When you get the EXACT SAME message from some guy on both sites.......you know you have a "player" doing his thing.
Happened to me the other nite......got a message......"Hey sexy, I've been trying to catch you online for ages......." answered it........logged off.......went to my other site and the same message was there. LOL! At least change the same old dog-eared material.



Didn't you think it was possible he REALLY DID want to get in touch with you and that is why he sent the same message to both your accounts? I used to be on several sites at the same time and quite a few guys would send messages to more than one of them.


ok so i am agreeing with both of u- funny
1 - ive had a guy do the same thing
butt... heres the catch
i had 2 profiles on the site one with newer pics and one from a few years earlier with some un updated pics... and my gf had a profile on there and so did another friend
we ALL got the same message from the same guy
and when cofronted he denied it..
when confronted again he said he was feeling lazy and just wrote out a template for peple he hadnt contacted in a while/

now in agreement with the latter.... that if its the same pics of the same woman on 2 different sites and the guy messages u the exact sme thing maybe he thought that you would check one and not the other

annd i think that people should talk to eachother long enough on here / msn before dislosing peronal information such as a telephone number

I think it's good, I have a friend who was recently attacked by a guy she met from pof, so it's good to warn friends about people like that.
I think guys should have one for women too though.

i have a gf who went on a few dates with a guy from the site too..
they were making out and whatever and he wanted sex.. she didnt.
and he told her he could rape her. (he didnt do it but he threatened)

so ya it kinda is a good idea in cases like this

i think its a great idea
but you should make it viewable to anyone...
sme women on the site dont want to talk to other woman...
i have maybe 3 girls on my friends lists... and 2 of them are my roomates andte other is jus a random girl that rated me a 10 and i messaged back to thank.

that being said.
heck why not make it so that guys can do the same
cuz u know. there are alot of "psycho barbies" out there too

how many women here have had a date with a person who basically called you his gf by mid date or ran into ppl on your date and called u "his girl"

i recently had this happen and buddy was a lil wack
started calling me all the time and stuff and tried telling me what to do

how many of u in a situation like this would have done whaqt i did and flat out told the guy to Fcuk off? or to get a life? or that u are controlled by nobody?

Australian wines are definitely a good choice, rarely will you go wrong with Wolf Blass, Banrock Station, Lindemans in red or white.

Also, if you care to try a good Italian....Folonari Pinot Grigio 2002 or the Pinot Grigio/Chardonnay 2003 from the Veneto region is absolutely FAB. I adore this wine!!

i have to pick a wine for work (i work at a liquor store)...

and i only drink johanisberg riesling (white) or
chianti riserva (red) its a special reserve

and i cannot pick a wine that sells itself ie (yellow tail, naked grape, jackson triggs, sawmill, domain , mission hill, etc)
MUST also be between $11 - $20.00 per bottle

any suggestions on one to try..
