Ladies...what do you think when

Wow...I think that being a nice guy is all that should matter! My question would be why is he a virgin? ie. is he waiting for marriage? If that is the case, then I respect him immensely! good luck

moment you fell in love!?

Absolutely! My boyfriend (now husband
) was walking down the street with me holding my hand ... he stopped and stood on a rock on the side of the road and gave me the most amazing kiss. That was it for me...I have been madly in love with him ever since.
Actually, whenever I drive by that rock (it is a really big rock / rock garden) I think of him....

OK...my favourite place (other than here) is Las Vegas
But I truly love BC, it is so gorgeous here; drive for 1/2 hour in 1 direction I'm at the Ocean and 1/2 hour in the other I'm in the mountains! Where can you beat that!!!! (ok I know there are other places :-) but I like it here. I'm sure I'll be talking a different story when the earthquake hits though!!!!!!

Some people grow old gracefully, while others fight and scratch the whole way.
Andy's wife, refusing to give in to the looks of growing old, goes out and buys a new line of expensive cosmetics guaranteed to make her look years younger.
After a lengthy sitting before the mirror applying the "miracle" products, she asks her husband - "Darling, honestly, if you didn't know me, what age would you say I am?"
Looking over her carefully, Andy replied,...
"Judging from your skin, twenty;
your hair, eighteen;
and your figure, twenty five."
"Oh, you flatterer!" she gushed. Just as she was about to tell Andy his reward, he stops her by saying...
"WHOA, hold on there sweety!" Andy interrupted.
"I haven't added them up yet!"

Moving long distance for a guy???

Wow....so almost in the same situation (but from the family point of view) and all I can say is it probably is killing your mom & sister if they are really close to you & kids. You have to follow your heart....but please think about your family too. Most of the other posters gave you some really good thoughts / advice ..........

To all the men out there....I am coming up really quickly on my 2 year anniversary. (Last year my husband and I both forgot it
) so I want to get him something really great! Some ideas .... please!
He is an engineer ... loves boats & cars & tools (not that I can afford to buy him boats or cars LOL) but that is just to give you somewhat of an idea.......
THANK YOU

Fallen for a man thats moving!

That is a tough one, but my only advice for you is to spend as much time as you possibly can with him. I am kinda going through the same thing (not with a man) where some people I love more than I love myself (not that I'm that great
) are moving away soon.... and it absolutely kills me to the point where I can't think about it when I'm in bed at night without crying :-(
You just have to accept that fate will step in, and if it is meant to be...somehow you will figure out a way to work it out! You will hurt more if you stop seeing him now, knowing that he is "just around the corner" as opposed to when he actually does move. And if you're only in college for another year...that is just 365 days that you'll be apart before you can move to be with him
Good luck!

Sibling rivalry because of double standards
Posted:
6/9/2006 10:41:23 AM
You know, I had somewhat of the same problems growing up... double standards etc.
I am 5 years older than my little sister ... When I was a teenager I had incredibly strict rules
! Well, I rebelled so much (and ended up moving out at 16) that by the time she got to 17-18, she was telling our parents to #$ off etc. all the time (I was disgusted, but my parents let it bounce right off). The rules all completely changed by the time she got into the same situations.
What I figured is that, after seeing how being too strict affected me, they were too lax with her. Parents have to find some middle ground and try to treat all of their children the same. There is no worse feeling than "mom and dad love so and so more than me" and, even though I'm sure its not true, it can feel that way!

How to make a bad day better
More often than not, when I am having a bad day .. i go into my room, crank my music .. sing at the top of my lungs for a bit and dance around in my underwear ... seems to relieve my stress :P ...
She actually does do the underwear thing....seen it! But that sooo isn't how she relieves her stress! Nope, NOT HER.... she likes to run around naked (singing loudly) in my backyard with feathers sticking out of her hair!
She always feels better after 10 mins. of that ... I have it on video $12.99 per copy! (Now she’ll be mad
I’m selling it so cheap )
