Long hair on older women
Posted: 2/17/2007 9:16:16 PM | I have always had long hair. I tell everyone it is due to laziness. I can't see spending time every day using curling irons, mousse, hairspray, gel, etc. just to look good. I wash and go. If you don't like how I look, don't look at me.
When I was getting ready to turn the big "40", I thought to myself...well, I am going to start getting gray, better get used to short hair...went from waist length to above shoulders. I have never had so many people comment on my hair before..."Why did you do that? What's wrong with gray, long hair?" I let it grow back out, not because of any comments made by anyone, but I like my hair long...not only that, but I froze that winter...LOL.
AND...the fact that guys seem to like it was not a factor in my decision, well, not a major factor. | | | |
