DREAMS

dreams are the place where we go to forget, if only for the moment, all the worries of the day. dreams are where we can truly be free. a dream is he chance to let your imagination go, a dream is something lovers can share, or it may be but the vision of a single person. dreams are the secre place that only we know where to find. a dream may be good or bad, happy or sad, but no matter what, all we have remember is it's only a dream. dreams are way to set your imagination free. dare to dream, dare to imagine. may the dreams of all who read this be sweet and come true.

LOVE AND LIFE
Posted:

a person may have many loves, so it's said, and only but once in a lifetime do two lost souls meet. we have but this one life, therefore we must not waste it looking for "perfect" as it does not nor will it ever exsist. love, true love, can be found by stopping and taking the time to really get know someone and look to the beauty that lies deep within us all. physical beauty may only last so long, it's like that of rose, here for only a sjort time until it fades and eventually is lost, but inner beauty will last forever in the heart and soul of the one who truly possesses it and is not always founf by some, but only by those who know how and where to look. let us not always be distracted by the outer beauty, but let us truly make the effort to see the beauty in everyone and everything. thank you REM for allowing me the oppertunity to post one of my own original writings. i'm sorry it doesn't rhyme, but it comes fro the thoughts in my heart.

Common courtesy

i don't know about other folks, but when i was growin' up, i was taught manners, respect for my elders as well as other people. i also find it discourteous to not answer e-mails asap. i know not everyone is just sitting by their computers waiting to see if they got mail, but when they do, the least they can do is send a reply, hey if it's junk mail, reply to the sender and tell them to take you off their mailing list. if it's someone you don't want to hear from anymore, reply to them and tell them not to e-mail you anymore and then send any further mail from them back,or block their address. another thing i find discourteous is, not returning phone calls or not calling to let the the other person know that plans have changed if you were going on a date. look ,if you and someone else were going to get together for something and one of you can't make it, at least call or e-mail the other to let them know somethings come up and you won't or can't make the meeting. don't just leave 'em hangin' thinking the meeting is still on and they're waiting for you either to pick them up or to show up at the meeting place. to do a no-show is just plain rude.

Pople Should get together...

i definately agree with you countryboy. i think 2 people should live a reasonable distance if they eventually want to meet each other in person. depending on where you live, there may not be too many or no singles in your area and you have to look outside your immediate area. myself, i think 10-25 miles is far enough. for me it's hard to get anywhere,as i don't drive, unfortunately.but even if that's the case for others, depending on whether or not they have a bus system, they could possibly take a bus to a meeting. long distance relationships are very difficult and are hard on both parties, because you just can't really get to know someone . the internet is ok and so are phone calls, but it's still not the same as in person. maybe a long distance relationship works if you're a celeb. or just plain rich, with maybe your own private je,t or plane, but for most of us,we aren't, so we do what we can to meet others, go to bars,(which turn out to be basically "meat markets") ask friends to help ,etc. so why can't 2 people meet who live fairly close? i'd be interested in hearing more on the subject. thank you for reading my messege.
