why are men so rude to women, judging them by looks

In response to wittywoman...I totally agree with you. You are very attractive and as a fellow woman, I understand completely how you feel. It is very offensive that some men think they have the right to judge us. I have introduced myself to some men and recently to one who asked me where I got off thinking that anyone as young as 35 would want to have anything to do with me. My response was that I was receiving so many intros from younger men, I simply decided to invite more of them to write. Who says age has to be a factor. Some younger men are so burnt out by the younger girls that they find some comfort in talking to an older woman. Hey, I'm not that bad to look at and have many younger male friends. And I mean friends. They honor me by asking my opinion and advice on certain matters. Even their love life. I respect that they can look to me for my wisdom. So you guys that think you're better than the "Lady" who introduces herself to you because you have a nice smile and you're not attracted to them. Be kind. How would like someone to treat your sister or mother like that you self centered Romeo.

For The Ladies American or English Men
Posted: 9/4/2006 5:22:53 AM
Although I am an American, I have had the peasure to date an Englishman who was here for a short time and I must say, it was one of the most peasurable dating experiences I have ever had. He was a gentleman and treated me very much like a lady. When we became intimate, he was assuring as well as sensual. My feelings were at the top of his list and I thank him for the wonderful memory. And if I may add this comment. I would take a foreign man over any American man for the same reasons. I believe the men here could use some lessons on what women really want and how they would like to be treated.

What is the deal on the ladies not responding, not even a no!

My apology to you for the shallowness of some of the women in this world. I have found the same problem with the men. Like you said, it's not a date. You may not be the Prince Charming that some of us are looking for, as some of us may not be the Princess Bride that you have in mind. But there is no excuse for rudness and I myself have been guilty of doing this just once lately. It was wrong and I feel very guilty about it. If a man takes the time to share some of his feelings with me, a total stranger, I should at least extend the courtesy of responding,; if for no other reason than it's just a nice thing to do. So my solemn vow is to acknowledge everyone who has taken the time out of his life to say hello to me. Thank you for your time.....Alamode
