If you're going to hang out online, be prepared to cull through a boatload of losers in order to find the one good one. seems so true from what I've seen so far...

I wish people would just be honest and upfront. none of this "game playing" and leading people on. if you're not interested, let them know asap. think of it from the other perspective...do you think that those people would like to get the wrong idea about another person?

I'm looking for friends and only more if it develops into that. I've tried messaging some people and it seems like most people ignore me if I try to start a normal convo and I even had one girl get mad because I called her pretty instead of hot or sexy. sigh

what bugs me is that I was talking to someone on the IM here...I said she was really pretty and then she yelled at me, "sorry, that's not what I'm looking for." lol but I prefer pretty, beautiful and cute to hot/sex/etc any day.

I've written a few poems in the past month, but here is one of my favs so far...inspiration came after a long and serious relationship came to a drastic end. "Life’s Too Short" Don't get too ahead of yourself; for this may be your final chance. Not able to see everything beyond today, but nothing can be done about that. Living in this world forever, won't even give you that kind of sight. Sit and concentrate on here and now, and decide between sorrow and fun. But don’t take long and assume it's still dawn, Look behind you, falling is the setting sun. Lie down and close your eyes now, before long you'll realize that a new day has begun. Knowing you next breath will be in the future, is there really such a need to rush and run? Mistakes are just a part of life and there will be many more to come. Stand up and wipe those tears away, at least while the day is still young. If better you wish for things to become, brush it off and get on your feet again. It's certainly not a crime to express emotion, but just stop and briefly consider this: For every minute that you spend upset, another minute of happiness, you will miss. Everyone has control over their own lives, will you accept pain or move on to find bliss? Go ahead and run through the fields, you never know which will be your very last kiss. Please don't just settle for anything, we both know that you deserve better. Go out and take some chances in life, and you may find something amazing. And when you hit those bumps in the road, Simply take them as a chance to learn. Don't ever tell yourself you've lost it all, because in this world, there is so much more! As just one person on the face of this earth, we are like a small crumb lying on the floor. If you stay where you are, so much you will miss, fly through this empty space and throw open the door. Push aside all the troubles that consume your life, I know that you will succeed, go ahead and soar.

I kinda feel like that sometimes, but I know I'll find someone again. the problem is, when will I find the right person? I was recently in a long, but complicated (and serious) relationship and it crumbled right before my eyes so quickly. one day it was "oh I love you so much and I wanna be with you forever" and the next I find out that she's screwing around with another guy and in love with me and him at the same time. anyway,before this relationship, I was younger and still exploring the dating scene in HS. I had had several unsucessful relationships...I've always had a history of rushing into a relationship, but I have learned SO much over the years. I just hope that I can find someone soon...not looking to rush into anything serious, but someone special to spend time with and be able to talk to. =/
