I am alive today because of 3 donors. I wish I could thank the family 2 of the donors and well my father knows how much I appriciate it. I have signed up to donate whatever they can "salvage" from me. I wish I could donate blood but cannot because of all the medications I am on.

Passing out from asthma medication

I almost passed out from an asthma medication I was being treated with while in the hospital.

After I had my last kidney transplant my K got extremly high. Along with they normal stuff they treated me with they also were going to give me 3 back to back doses of Ventalin. After the first 2 I got up to go to the bathroom and within seconds I started blacking out. Luckly the bed was close enough that I was able to get myself there be "lights out" Needless to say they negleted to warn me that after having back to back doses I should not have gotten up right away.

Well ya live and learn.

I was in the hospital and being watched. If I were you i'd get in to the doctor asap!

Well my stories would be to long for most people. The long and short of it is i'v been in and out of the hospital all my life. 3 Kidney transplants later and i'm doing great!

But this here is about experince. Other then the hospital staff hospitals are what you make of them. To me there like mini vacations! Just with lots of poking!

I have been very lucky to be treated at world class hospitals. Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, On and University of Western On hospitals. I have had wonderful nurses and doctors take care of me. I have only run accross one or 2 docs I didnt like. And well out of about 30 or so thats a great number!

As seriously ill as I have been I have always managed to take a light hearted approch to things. I dont think I could have made it though everything sainly without the sence of humor that I have. Even on my worse days I would crack a joke about my situation. Ya that might sound a little bit morbid but it worked for me!

As I said I have a lot of stories and would rather not share them here but if anyone wants to learn more or is in need of inspiration feel free to contact me!

March is Kidney month and this is an issue that hits close to home for me.

I was wondering how many people sign there donor cards. Why they do and why some choose not to.

Yo dude...she did the same thing to my head. Mind you I only knew her a breif time. Shes quite good at mind games. Well with me anyway. I dont want to bash her completely because I still think she is a wonderful young woman. She just needs to work some things out in her head.

naw..the i'm not sure what I want came first. The whole issue has been I knew that going in, but she has said she likes me. Thats why I needed to know how long to wait. But like I said earlyer i'v pretty much decided to date around and not dwell too much on it and leave it up to her to figure it out. I hope she comes around my way but i'm not gona hold my breath.

How a Guy/Girl Smells

I can still remember the smell of the purfum my very first g/f wore when I was 14. It was Fire and Ice. I think it was cheep stuff but to this day I can still remember it. When I pass by someone wearing it its stops me in my tracks. The last girl I was with wore Red. She only wore it once and i'm hooked. It smelled really good and I miss it already.

I'm horibly shy to meeting ppl in person. On here I am completly opposite form some reason and it helps to break the ice b4 I meet someone in person. Solution for you just throw yourself out there. Dont hold anything back. Its not like you have to face the person your talkin to.

Ya, I'v kinda decided to take this approche to it. I'm gona date around and let her come to me if she wants. I'm not gona lose any sleep over it, and well i'll just have to charish the time I did spend with her!

Thanks for all the advice. Its not what I'v wanted to hear but it has been very helpful. Hey thats life right! You win some you lose some!

Its pertty simple really. Not into head games is a big one. Someone who is fun and caring. They have to have a sence of humor but need to know when to act there age. Respectable and respectful. Easy to talk to and should be able to talk about anything and everything but respect my opinion weather they agree or not. Stuff like that.

Hey Julie 365, I'm 25 yrs old and feel the same way. I do myself miss the simple affectionate things about relationships more then sex itself most of the time. I end up getting jerked around a lot of the times. As far as what your doing wrong. I think it comes down to the type of guys your meeting. Just keep looking and dont give up. There are guys out there that want more then just one thing. I myself am one of them!

I really like this girl I met on here. We really seemed to have hit it off. She has told me she likes me and I really like her. The thing is she has told me she doesn't know what she wants. What does that really mean and how long should I wait around to find out?
