Sorry you cannot make it Country Girl.. Last time we had seven tables (only about 4 POFers). Lots of regulars were missing so I think this Saturday should be an awesome turn out. A few at breaky Sunday said they are going this Sat too!!!

Next Euchre date - October 17, 2009 Thorncliffe Greenview Community Lounge. 5600 Centre St N Sign up at 1:30 PM Play starts at 2:00 - ends between 6-7 It costs $5, but all money paid in is paid out in 1st, 2nd. etc. If you get Euchre'd it costs you a quarter and the one with the most loner's gets the euchre pot. You get a card at the begining to see what table you sit at, then if you win you stay at that table but switch partners, if you loose you move to the next table and switch partners. We play 10 games on Saturday's. Great to hear that some new folks went out last month, sorry but I was camping and riding. Plan to be playing this time though, then maybe hit the Wrecker..... for some

I cannot keep up to the posts.. JB - they have made counters to 10 so you do not have to worry about using 5's or 2's & 3's. It's a great afternoon of playing cards. Plan on being there till about 7. DDD - No table in my trailer to teach you Euchre you should have learned camping. Castaline - How much did you have to before going to bed last night? Popcicletoes - you go at keeping all on their toes.....

Hi everyone!! Thanks for a great camping trip!!! Glad to see taseful photos are up.. Thanks Diesel and Georgia for helping arrange a great location. Awesome folks that joined the gathering, was wonderful to meet you all.. I'm positive I'll head out to another one. Next time I can save 5 minutes drive by turning off highway 2 before going into Fort Macleod. Didn't do any but played some cards, horseshoes, and socialized a ton. Tried to reach Hemi after the event, but once again someone lives too far from others to get POF mail through.. LOL Thanks everyone for a wonderful time..

Oh my gosh... Glad I'm having a drink when reading all this.. Opened a bottle of wine with the neighbors earlier once I decided not to leave tonight in the wind storm. Wow tjm sure knows a lot about panty hose.... At least I do not have to replenish my stock in the trailer. It is ready to go.. Red Bra packed! Unsure what is going to happen with it.. LOL.. Glad that everyone looks like they help others out! Should be a fun (maybe scary) weekend. One more sleep... Warning--- If someone falls asleep in their lawn chair you never know what your face will look like when you wake up.. Cheers..

Picked up stuff for a potato dish for Sat night, cannot have all salad's. One gal coming is bringing ceaser salad for Sat night. Told the gals to bring their red bra's... Oh, did anyone realize it is a full moon Friday night!!!!! Popcicletoes - I too have BBQ and stove that can be used. .. Printed off directions... see you all soon....

One for sleep for me.. Out of the city tomorrow, stopping along the way will make it to Ft MacLeod Friday afternoon. Was a little worried tonight couldn't get electrical working on battery, shouldn't have left it from two weeks ago... Found it replaced fuse now all is working fine!!! Learned not to run the fridge on battery long.. Looking forward to meeting everyone, also packed a few small prizes in case we have winners at some of the games.. Castaline & Popcicletoes maybe we can find a fourth for playing some Euchre!!! Horseshoes packed!! Now off to get food and mix for chocolate Martini's... See you all Friday or Sat..

With Castaline signed up and happy that plans changed you could say a few of us are looking forward to this camping weekend. I'll be there with a trailer and one friend not on PoF is bringing a tent and the other a camper. The horseshoes are by the door ready to go into the trailer.. Sounds like a weekend for the Chocolate martini's to come out!!! See you all next Friday!

Thanks for checking that out dddiesel, and letting me know of the other campgrounds. 1Georgia2 - Yes, changed plans and signed up. Bringing along 1 other camper and possibly 2 more. Will try to convince Castaline to go, which should be hard, heard she enjoyed the last one tons... I'll also bring 2 sets of regulation horseshoes..

Hello all, Working on making it to this event as I love camping and been out all but 3 weekends since May. Currently I have other plans and probably will change them, will know by the end of this week. If changed most likely a few others will follow me. Is the campground available Thursday night? I ususally take the Friday off and head out before the Friday rush.

Wimps... Shouldn't have let the gathering scare you. We ended up at the big round table, two roses surounded by five thorns.. (Just teasing) Conversation was varied between trucks and the way folks like the brumm, brumm, the mufflers on the Harley's make. Apparently to understand you have to go for a ride on a Harley. Maybe one day when one of our friends has his new Harley, he will take us for a ride so we can understand how to enjoy the brumm, brumm noise that they make.. Following breaky a few of us went touring the Harley's on display.. Some very nice bikes and some cool older models. Was an enjoyable morning.

Thanks to all that came out yesterday, we had 9 table and lots of new folks. I had fun hope everyone else did. Sorry you had to work Fly, and Castaline you obviously picked your 2nd or 3rd event instead. You both were missed. Popcycle and friends also showed. Planning on going to Kane's Sunday, April 5th, however going early (10) as heading to a funraiser with my foster dog... Two enterprising 9-year old animal lovers will be fundraising for Misty Creek Dog Rescue at the Southland offleash park on Sunday, April 5th from 11:00 to 1:00. Available for purchase will be Adopt-a-Pet floating containers and bracelets. Bring your change and help these girls help the animals at Misty Creek!

Papabear & Duffster you two are awesome for organizing this event I've been to a few of them before and always a fun time, you know me.. and if country dancing is involved even better. Cannot promise I'll be there but did sign up, I'll be playing Euchre in the afternoon. And as it stands right now I do not have a hot date for the evening, but it's only Sunday and that could change by next Saturday. So hot date or wrecker???? We will wait and see...

Mon Cherie - Euchre goes from sign up at 1:30, play 10 games starting at 2, ending around 6 -6:30, then time to head to Wrecker.. Popsicletoes - Awesome that you had a great time - I couldn't get out of the house and spend all day on the couch sick with a cold. I would have rather been playing cards.. I look forward to meeting you next Sat.

Castaline.. we will miss you on our road trip, but have a blast at the Bluesfest and say Hi to our favorite waitress... Whatdouwant.. You will not need the extra strength stuff, we have smelling (stuff) salts for you Northern Lights.. what name we giving you this weekend? Sue? Duff.. will miss you for a few weeks... Hey, TCPL thanks for organizing another gathering.. I promise to stick around more this year, as you are going to play some country music.. (Although I think Chocolate Martini's had something to do with last years decisions.. ) Thanks all for the eating out suggestions...
