When you are on the persons profile top right corner beside their name will be a drop down arrow.

Clicking this drops two options 1. delete message, 2. block user.

You are then prompted by another message asking are you sure click yes and voila

I've never seen that error message.

When you have had your posting privileges revoked or revised it tells you. It says something along the lines of you have reached your daily postings of 5 or ten

If you have been banned or restricted they don't make up stuff they tell you.

Make sure when you are typing out the 200 characters that they make sense and you're not just typing randomly so it will post

ETA I've just noticed your join date. I'm not sure of how long but usually newbies are restricted from starting threads for a period of time. You are supposed to look through threads get a feel of how it works etc

Sweet mutha of Buddha I've heard it all now. Ah next people will be on saying Ballymun/ Finglas / clondalkin/ tallaght/ don't have a drug or crime problem just because residents don't see it?

When I was looking to buy a house back in the boom 3 bed town house in Dublin was 310,000 and something very similar in limerick was 26,000???? I wonder why. Wouldn't be because of the huge gang culture and it becoming know as STAB CITY.

Yes Dublin and cork have crime but not on the scale limerick does incorporating its size population etc

Us women that have the filter don't want men who messaged looking for sex to contact us ever! Just because you realised your options are limited doesn't make the filter go away or the reason why we have it up any different.

In short, no you can't delete it. What's the purpose of having it if it can be worked around eh

You will get over her eventually, you know that saying "time is a great healer" it's not actually the time but what you do in that time. Go out enjoy yourself, enjoy being single. After nearly 6 years in a relationship you need to have fun.

If its too hard seeing her on facebook then yes you should delete her. As for the pictures, she was a big part of your life, you will always remember her as the gf you went here or did this with etc so no need to erase the pics they are your memories of that time as well as of her

Hope it eases soon for you

Messages will automatically delete after a period of time it's somewhere between 20 and 30 days I'm sure.

Also if you block someone which is still easy to do on the app (even though there's a pop up) their messages will delete

When I was actively looking to date I much preferred the app. I didn't bother with who viewed me matches or any of the other fluff I wanted to see my messages swap around pics and the app was great for that!

Only thing is no forums :-(

^^^^ I'm sorry but but did we read two completely different posts??? He did nothing wrong? Wtf he had an affair! Now he's with the home wrecker and wants to parade her in front of his kids even though they expressed they are against it!

OP my father left my mother after having an affair he later married her and they went onto have 3 kids. My mother never spoke about him or her ever. I was t stupid though. I worked it out and that resentment still burns inside. I get on with them for the sake of peace. Ask your kids what thy want to do! If they think they will say something or behave in a way that will look bad on them I would avoid it. If they can ignore the two of them and enjoy themselves they should go for it. Depending on how close you are to the family member that should decide if you or not.

Why don't you organise one?

Money should not be made out of single nights! Plenty of pubs in Dublin would be happy to corner off an area or let out a room free of charge because they make the money back on booze etc sold. Some even throw in some free food!

A girl on here usually has a single night in the Lombard regularly. Mail her privately and ask her.

Some times liking the person behind the disability just isn't enough and it's very naive to think oh it shouldn't bother people what's on the outside.

A lot of people are only attracted to blonde hair blue eyes, or tall men or curvey women.

Someone in a wheel chair is not going to be compatible with someone who likes hiking and biking etc

But we are all weird and wonderful in our way!

The timing doesn't add up!

She fell Wednesday, didn't wake up til Thursday, boyfriend didn't find out til 9 am Friday, she tells him Saturday she wants to date others then he says they didn't see each other for a few days but that was on Sunday???? Hmmmm

I used to do home care for an elderly woman and my word was she nasty, she went through 7 carers before I got there. I was the only one who could handle her! 9 months after I started looking after her she had a stroke, when she came out of hospital she forgot she ever smoked ( which used to be an issue, here it's illegal to smoke in a work place) she used to call us some unpleasant names if we asked her not to blow smoke in our faces, but her whole personality changed, she became like a grand mother to me. I started to enjoy the hours I spent there and her telling stories about the past. Even after I stopped working there I went to her funeral.

Head injuries are not to be taken lightly, my son who is partially blind sometimes thinks there is an extra step or thinks he's on the last one etc he is forever slipping off the pavement. He gave himself a golf ball size lump on his head the day he started school and we had to have all sorts of scans and tests and wait so many hours and redo them all again.

I drink the lemon couple times a week as my mammy used to give us it when we were younger probably an old myth or something.

The OJ I started drinking about 2 months ago because I starting getting sick a lot and the vitamins in the chemist didn't seem to help. So I thought we'll maybe if I drink freshly squeezed juice it would help but it didn't I ended up with the flu twice more.

^^^ Here in Ireland 1 in 10 can't afford to feed themselves and their family. Sad but very very true and if those kids get a healthy meal in school it's less pressure on the parents to provide a big hearty healthy meal at home. Chicken nuggets and fish fingers because they are cheap rather than nutritious is ok every now and again because kids get a healthy lunch in school!

So PoF is doing the job it set out to do, which was to connect singles for free.

Because you have "evolved" doesn't mean the site has to. It doesn't change as you do. You just move onto another site that caters for you.

Single people wanting to meet other single people don't go on couple sites. Its not practical. Although you're very welcome here you have to use the tools provided

^^^^^Her mother is also tech savy she works in the school district. I believe this young girl wasn't fully taught about the Internet and how it works. She flashed her 12 year old boobs on webcam and that guy ( who said he was a teenager) turned it into a video and photographs.

Her mother of all people should feel some guilt. She works in the IT field for gods sake.

My mother doesn't know how to use her mobile phone still to this day but she watched me like a hawk on the Internet, chat rooms social sites and god forbid it that I even imagine going on webcam with anyone for any reason, she would have up ended Ireland.

A lot of people are to blame here not just the creep stalking her. A lot of people let this young girl down.

The summer and winter comment, I just meant I have the heating on more, especially if its raining and I need clothes dried. I try to keep the drier being used to minimal.

The school I'm in has storage heating instead of central heating and it just feels like I'm leaving a warm house or school and going out into the cold.

Also my son started primary school and he is bringing home every bug the other kids have.

My son gets a healthy enough lunch provided by his school but I thought making an extra tonic for us both to take before we leave the house every day would be a good idea.

Also any particular foods I should be eating?

I eat a lot of veg and protein spuds and pasta maybe once a week!

I was wondering does anyone have any suggestions for home tonics? I don't like using prescription meds at all and those vitamins in the chemist are a waste of money!

I've started back at college and I'm working and full time ( no breaks) single mother and we had a pretty bad summer and winter is particularly colder this year. I'd like to make something I can drink in the car or on my break.

Since July I've had the flu 3 times and although I drink a lot of orange juice lemon juice etc I just feel ugh!!! Most of the time

My son loves the lunch he gets in school. He has a choice of chicken cheese ham jam beef tuna sandwhich or wrap brown or white butter ( real) or mayo or occasionally cream crackers.

He also gets a choice of an actimel, frube or yogurt (natural or strawberry). They get an option of apple banana clementine or fruit bag. Also oats bar or plain rice cake or small jelly for a treat.

He has never tried so many different foods before he started school. Which was great because he is partially blind his other senses are heightened and some textures just didn't sit well with him.

Not all the schools provide this but I'm grateful it saves me a time and money.

OP if your ex specifically said she was raising funds for prescriptions and leg braces then I think you should seek legal advice but be prepared for the Consequences of your actions.

If she has just said its for your son and mentioned what's wrong with him then she can use that money how ever she sees benefitting him. I often fundraiser for our children's hospital here in dublin who Saved my sons sight. Sometimes the money is for equipment, new toys, Santa visits etc but a lot of the time it's to pay the parents parking fees, train tickets meals and accommodation. We have also paid bills for parents who spend all their time in hospital and don't get paid from their job. kids come from the 4 corners of Ireland to this hospital.

It sickens me to think people have no heart and use vulnerable people to make a quick euro.

The thing siks is guilty of is being over protective!

As for all teachers being safe and Garda vetted? Yes they are but to imply that because they have not done it before or got caught they won't do it period!!!! That's a ridiculous statement!

Only last week the UK had a 30 year old teacher abuse his position and "groom" a 15 year old girl. He fled to France with her where he knew the French police wouldn't look for her because he hasn't broken any French laws. Would you look her worried parents in the eyes and tell them it's a mistake, he was Garda vetted and a professional, he would never abuse his position????
