Never been to a meet and reading some of the posts on here I see a few other ladies are a bit nervous of going alone.......... ME TOO !!! I have contacted 2 already and suggested we can meet somewhere near and all go together.......... Any other ' single ' femails who want to join us are VERY WELCOME. We can all go in together then............. must be better than walking in alone with a daft grin........... If your interested let me know........ Sue

Hi Sandy Same here.............a great meeting , nice friendly kiss .... a promise to '' do it again '' and then nothing. I think some people just dont have the courage to say there was ''no spark'' I have met people .......been really friendly .......had a great night........BUT.......not faniced them one iota. BUT being a woman with manners I have always emailed and said how much I enjoyed their company ..........but there just wasnt that ''SPARK ' Its called ..........MANNERS........ !!! Shame some people have none........It does dint your confidence though

I have a busy hair salon and its amazing just how many really pretty single femail clients spent New Years Eve alone !! So all you who are thinking that the whole world was out having a great time while you were 'home alone' its just not true.I actually had a really nice New Years Eve because I missed it all together !! I had a bath , out on some slinky pajamas , opened a beautiful bottle of Red , arranged myself on the sofa , put a DVD on , sipped my wine.......... and woke up at 12.10 !!!! Best New Years Eve for ages !!! No slobbering drunks or mingin strangers wanting to kiss you no arguments no staggering idiots at the taxi queue Once you get over the New Years Eve ' thing ' and bloody Big Ben striking the midnight hour you realise its just another day. So all the best to everyone here and remember guys and girls...........you were not alone xxx Love Sue

Why are older women not into younger guys??? Posted: 12/27/2006 3:47:42 PM
As an ''Older woman'' if I am chatted up by a younger man my immediate reaction is suspicion.I ask myself ''Does he think I am desperate '' '' Have his mates put him up to it '' ........all sorts of things go through my mind. I usually joke and ask if they are drunk and then say '' Buzz off '' but thank you for making an old woman happy !!! Dont take it personally my friend.Most of us older women have sons your age and a young un wrinkled man on my arm would make me very aware of my laughter lines.Thats all. I hate this monster as well
