Shy Puma, when Benoit died it was about 20 months since Eddie had died, Eddie died in November 2005. As much as it knocked Benoit to lose his best friend, there was some other deaths in between Eddie dying and him killing himself which made Benoit more mentally unstable. After Benoit Died Ex and Wrestler and Brain Trauma Specialist Christopher Nowinski asked for there to be an examination of Benoits brain, and I've heard that when this was done it was found his brain to be in the same condition as that of an 85 year old man with Alziemers, although don't quote me on that, as I don't believe everything I read online. But Christopher Nowinski basically years of Flying Headbutts and multiple untreated concussions would not have done his mental state any good.
I Still haven't forgiven Chris Benoit and I probably never will, but i'm finding it hard to forget the memories I have of him, memories like Benoit and Eddie in the ring at Wrestlemania 20, stuff like that I cannot forget and probably never will

Yea emma, your right, no murderer is a hero, but it's hard to forget all the times he entertained me, and he put some of the best matches i've ever witnessed, your right, we will never know what happened over that weekend, the only three people who knows what went on are now passed away, as a wrestling fan myself, I believe it's time to move on.....I believe WWE have made the right move by not acknowledging him, but I do believe WWE have a lot of questions to answer, and they should answer any questions investigators have, because WWE are not exactly going to come out of this smelling of roses and should do what they can to help any kind of investigation to at least appease themselves a little bit
Wot gets me the most is that why would a man of his status do something like that, he had everything, he was idolised, he had a nice family, nice house, lots of money, his kids adored the ground he walked on, surely he could have getting some help from WWE if things were really that bad, Benoit had everything most kids would give there right arm for and he threw it away, he was guaranteed to go down in wrestling history as one of the greatest, a future hall of famer and he threw all away in a few days of absolute psychotic madness

I'm a WWE fan myself and i'm deeply hurt and shocked by this, although i've faced up to the mounting evidence, i still find it hard to believe a guy i looked upto would do this, it has recently come out that Benoits doctor has been arrested and charged over illegal drug distribution he was giving Benoit 3 months worth of steroids every week, WWE themselves have a lot to answer for them, because after Eddie Guerreros death they introduced mandatory on the spot drug testing and Chris Benoit recently passed a drug test, but Benoit was said to be mentally unstable due to losing at least 3 of his close friends in the business over the last few years, Eddie Guerrero, his Mentor Stu Hart and either Bam Bam Bigelow or Curt Hennig, while he killed his wife before his wife before son, it is rumoured he killed his son by using his own signature wrestling finisher the crippler crossface
I'll never forgive Benoit for this, but I did lose a hero and I'll always remember the matches he put on for me, but it will take a long, long time before I ever forgive him, if i ever forgive him
like i said WWE have a lot to answer for about the efficiency of there wellness programme and where it is going wrong if a man can take that many steroids and still pass a drugs test, then something is very wrong and there programme is not working somewhere along the line

Swearing! Is it more acceptable now than ever?
Posted:

I swear like a trooper sometimes, and when it comes to the 'C', I only use that when I'm extremely p1ssed off, I sometimes swear in front of my parents and my parents sometimes swear in front of me.....When I was younger I wouldn't dream of swearing in front of my gradfather, as I liked my life at the time, and I got a shock after my nan died, he started swearing a bit himself......I was listening to an N.W.A Song on a CD, Fvck the Police and I instantly turned it over and my grandad just said, what did you do that for, I've heard words worse than that
Also I remember a few years ago, I was watching Countdown when Richard Whiteley was still alive(god bless him) and one of the contestants declared FARTED as there word in one of the word games, I laughed my back off for ages over that, watching Carol Vorderman and Richard Whiteley cringe at the wor d FARTED

Who should travel to meet who?
Posted:

Yes, it is easy for a women to cry wolf, and the basic 'rules' apply to both men and women.....me personally I don't mind travelling to women, I met someone off here over the Bank Holiday and I went to them, I've met people in the past off the net and travelled to them, I don't mind travelling to meet the woman, I would travel to the other end of the country if I had to.....In this day and age, you can get to anywhere in the country for next to nothing if you fly

Socks in the wash
Posted:
4/10/2007 3:06:18 PM
Abit of a silly question here
But how come every time a pair of socks goes in the wash, only one sock always seems to come out at the end when you know fine well you actually put a pair in
My opinion on it is that sock making companies actually make socks to such a low standard, that they are made to dissolve in the wash
, so that after we wash them, we actually have to go out and buy more pairs of socks, and also i'm of the opinion that the fluff on a tumble dryer fluff filter is really a sock

where have all the bootboys gone?

I know here in Britain, Bootboy Culture always used to revolve around Football Hooliganism, I think it went back to the 1970's and 1980's, when the Skinheads were around in a big way, and the bootboys would meet up and fight at football matches against rival 'Firms'
I don't know if that is your definition of a bootboy

Party Tricks
Posted:
4/7/2007 8:29:06 AM
my party piece is sticking things up my nose and pulling it out my mouth, I can do it with Condoms, i used to be able to stick things up my nose like Shoe lace, string and even garden peas, I once showed a Taxi Driver me putting a condom up my nose and he nearly crashed the car through laughing too much, lol
I can also wiggle my ears, I can wiggle my right ear on it's own, I can raise both eyebrows individually and wiggle my nostrils, it took me years of hard work to be able to do all that, lol
I can also sometimes drink a pint of beer in approximately 2 seconds, although I ain't donne that for a while, I haven't trained for that for a while, lol
I also consider showing off my birthmark a party piece, because I don't know anybody else who has a birthmark where I do, lol

Did The Rome Riot Police Over react Against Man Utd Fans?
Posted:
4/5/2007 1:37:29 PM
It was pure over reaction, the news pictures showing one guy who had it on his toes getting battered, he was hit about 7 or 8 times, when he was on the deck as well, English reputation has followed fans around of club and****y for the past 30 years now like a bad smell, locals and police simply tar all of us with the same brush, in Italy at the moment, the police are scared I think, only a few months ago, they had a policeman killed at a local derby in Sardinia or somewhere like that, and they are probably worried it's going to happen again, I personally think UEFA will look into it and not do much about it, just give Roma a slap on the wrist, if this had happened in Britain there would have been hell on, all kinds of threats levelled at us, this is not the first time Man Utd fans have had trouble abroad either, in 1993 or 94, they had trouble in Istanbul, this season they had trouble in Lille with French Police, but I think what should happen is if found guilty of over zealousness, AS Roma should be made to play there Home Champions league games on a neutral Venue for a season or so, not in Italy, but somewhere far away, I know it's not the clubs fault for police brutality, but the club should be made an example of
EDIT: I also read in the paper, it got to the point where Manchester United Fans were trying to calm the police, how often do you hear of that, credit where it's due to Man Utd fans for trying to calm the situation, I never actually defend Man Utd Fans because I've had my own issues with them in the past, but the display in Rome was a complete disgrace and I back Man Utd fully on this issue
Thats just my own opinion

Mental Health Problems
Posted:
4/5/2007 5:17:20 AM
Ya know Scarface, Psychiatrists ansd Psychologists couldorganise a P1ss Up in a brewery, they couldn't fight there way out of a soaking wet paper bag, with a chainsaw in there hands, most psychiatrists i've met are completely inept, in the last 10 years, they thought I had ADD, depression, just bringing attention to myself, Anxiety Problems, up until I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar
Nowadays, I've learnt about when to put my barriers up, when to front it, I figured out there is a time and a place to be happy and same for when I'm feeling down, I've recently found that whenever I'm not at home, e.g When I'm on holiday, I don't need my medication, I'm happy as can be, very friendly, I also love to be the centre of attention, the focus having to be on me
But when I'm at home, it's different, I don't bring attention to myself, I don't participate in things like I do on holiday, mainly because on holiday, I put my front up
But I am getting help now, and yeah Scarface, life can be good, life is what we make it, I just have to find the right balance between problems and the good life

Self Harming ?
Posted:
4/5/2007 5:04:11 AM
sorry if im going to seem all blunt and horrid but here goes - the only reason anyone decides to cut themselves etc is for the attention because they know eventually they will be discovered by their scars etc.
if someone has the guts to start cutting themselves - and i do believe it takes some courage to do that to yourself - then surely they have the guts to seek help ???
some people insist on playing the victim all their life - as an adult only they can decide if they want to be in a situation or not - people surrvive horrific things daily its a question of how much they want to
Msg 42: What you just said there showed complete ignorance, I sincerely hope you never have to quietly suffer, like many people here have had to, yes, some people cut for attention, I used to know a girl that would cut for self sympathy, but 95% of self harmers do it as a way to release there problems, it's about control, when they cut they are releasing there issues, taking the pain away, I would dare you to say to a self harmer that they are self harming for attention, and you'd probably get a firm boot up the jacksie
Sorry if that sounds bad

hey bluebrummie, I know exactly what it is like to front it out, I was a master fronter at one time, lol, hell it's hard, you just want to get up on the roof and scream it from the rooftops everything what is on your mind, but you can't, you have to stay strong, whether you have kids, or you try to stay strong in front of family members or friends, imho Fronting is possibly the worst thing you can do, because fronting always ends in one thing, Denial, I've been in a period of denial for a long time now, I preferred to think of myself as not having problems and just soldiering on, and I am plodding on to an extent, but at the same time accepting I'm accepting I have problems, accepting I need help
I respect members of this forum who has posted in this thread who are saying they have whatever problems they have with Depression and Anxiety, I myself know how how hard it is to even say the words, if you know what i mean

I have suffered with depression and anxiety for 9 years now..the only name they will put to it is 'panic disorder'.
I get income support but thats it....i would love someone to listen to me and take my illness seriously but i have learnt to live with it.I have two babies now and i need now more than ever to be heard....
How many others i wonder have lived their lives fighting these diseases alone?
Lolli, you shouldn't have to be alone through your problems, do something about it, if not for yourself, then for the sake of your children, I know you'll do the right thing eventually
The only person who as helped me is me!
Hey Bluebrummie, respect where it's due mate, you helped yourself, shows you are strong enough to help yourself, I tip my hat to you pal
Anyway, I have an appointment with the Community Team Nurse in 2 weeks and I'll be discussing stff like DLA and benefits with them and see what they can do to help me and who to refer me to and that, so I'm now on the road to getting the help I need

funny names....
Posted:
4/4/2007 4:01:13 AM
I've worked for Double Glazing Companies before and come across some funny Names, sometimes purposely mispronouncing them to make them sound funny and have to keep a straight face at the same time
Mr Bestarde(B**tard)
Mr Rimjaw(Rimjob)
Mr Quim
Mrs Freak
Then there was Chinese/Asian Names, I got enjoyment out of phoning Fuk Yu Tu and anybody who was called Wang
We would also prank call we knew had funny names, me and my friends knew a couple of nasty horrible old men, one was called Cranky Hall, another called Donald Key(Donkey), I also used to know to a Social Worker called Eileen Dover(wonder if she was married to Ben) and my a friend of my mates grandmother was called Peggy Ina Stake
I always did feel sorry for Mrs P1sstake, as she was a nice old lady and her parents must have been cruel to give her those initials
EDIT: There was also a German Footballer in the 1990's called Stefan Kuntz, an Austrian player today called Thomas Ivanschitz, a player in England called Danny Sh1ttu and an ex brazilian player called Rafael Schiedt(sh1te) and Rafael Schiedt actually lived up to his name, he was an utter waste of time

Funny Names For Kids
Posted:
4/4/2007 2:27:42 AM
When I was at school many, many years ago, I used to know a kid called Rupert
and when I was 17 I worked for a double glazing company cold calling people on the phones, so me and my friend used to cold call people out of the phone book
I know this topic is about funny kids names, but some of the surnames me and my friend found was hilarious, and we mis-pronounced a couple for our own fun
We phone Mr and Mrs Rimjaw(except we called them Rimjob)
Mr Quim
Mr Bestarde(we called him Mr B**tard)
and we also spoke to a Mrs Freak
Pretty sad I know, but boyish immaturity overtook us

You are an ENFP,
ENFP: "People are the product": Do well in executive roles even though their characteristics of effervescence, enthusiasm and spontaneity are not typical of top corporate managers. They can be very skilled at flying by the seat of their pants. Can do many things at the same time but might neglect to plan and be prepared. More females fit this type than males, but males tend to be promoted. Have great ability to empower others. Inspiration rather than control is key to their management style. ENFP's natural partner is the INTJ, or the INFJ. ENFP's dominant function of Extraverted Intuition is best matched with a partner whose dominant function is Introverted Intuition.

Inappropriate Crush
Posted:
4/3/2007 8:22:03 PM
I've had quite a few crushed in my day, a few innapropriate ones too, when I was 12-13, when I first moved into the Care System, I really, really liked this girl, she was the same age as me one day I was out the back having a cigarette with her and thought I'd go in for the kill and plant one on her lips, she pulled away from me, and the look she fired at me was as if I'd just dropped my strides and flashed her, that really damaged my young ego at the time, it all worked out ok in the end, she become one of my best friends, but I've had crushes on most of the girls I lived with in Care through my teenage years
Also I've had crushes on female members of Staff in Childrens homes, which was innapropriate, because if I acted on them, I could have got the staff in trouble, I also had a crush on my Year 11 english teacher at school which abruptly ended the day she kicked me out of english class for refusing to take a second earring hoop out my ear
Nowadays, I have a crush on one of my mums work colleagues, who is also her best friend, but she is married, she knows I have a crush on her and always winds me up about it, everytime she has a drink, puts her arms round me and says things to me like 'do you still love me and stuff like that', but that is just a fun thing between us really
And I also have crushes on people I talk to on the internet, I'm not brave enough to name names, because of the embarrasment if they happen to use this site, lol

some adults can work through childhood nightmares easier than others, never the less we nearly all have our bad dream to deal with. some days easier than others.
Nowadays, I literally have nightmares an still do, it got to a point where I would force myself to stay awake for days at a time upto times of nearly a week, I would virtually be sticking matchsticks between my eyelids to keep awake
Then I would take a handful of tablets, either Painkillers or Anti-Depressants and it would knock me out for about 36 hours to 2 days

Im gonna sound like a complete anorak T wat now but Wheatus had 2 sort of hits.
Dirtbag got to number 2 and the follow up got to number 3 which was a fairly decentish bash at Erasures A Little Respect. Chumbawumba did get to number 10 after tubthumping with Amnesia.
lol Jules, you anorak, I forgot about Wheatus coming out with A Little Respect, and I forgot about Amnesia by Chumbawamba, get my young memory is getting old these days

mistafozz.... I hear ya and yes it makes perfect sense and your not alone honey
Princess Leigh, I've now found some strength inside me what I thought I never had to go out and start finding help, like i've pointed in some of my other posts I'm going to see Mental Health Team in 2.5 weeks time, I've had the idea for years that the NHS have let me down for whatever reason, but I'm putting my last little bit of faith back into them, because i'm sick of the life i'm living at the moment, I don't sick of my life as in wanting to end it, I mean sick that I want to change my ways and get myself off the tablets and turn my life around for the best, I'm not prepared to end up another NHS Statistic, I'm not letting the NHS beat me
So this is the beggining of my life as far as i'm concerned
Anyway, going back to the topic of this thread, I think when it comes to self harming, it is just too easy for professionals to dissmiss any kid who self harms as someone who is just trying to grab attention when deep down inside they really are hurting for whatever reason, whether it be relationship problems, family problems, whether they are been abused and can't talk about it, it is just too easy to tell them they are attention grabbing, more times than not, saying that to a kid will just make them do it more, I know that because when I was younger I was quite suicidal, I never cut myself, but I did take a lot of tablets, and hospital staff just used to think I was a waste of time, basically not worth the effort which to a 13/14/15 yr old kid is probably the most hurtful thing that can be said to them
Just my opinion

thanks galloway, and thanks to everyone who have responded to this post, I'm going to start looking for contacts, Mencap, and hopefully my the Community Team will help me out when I go see them, and I'm also going to get in touch with Citizens Advice, Welfare Rights and I've decided If i'm still treading water in a few weeks, I'm going to go and see my local MP and have him see what he can do for me, as I've heard seeing the MP can be effective sometimes
When it comes to help I goto a Youth Group in Durham City, and the manager there has his head screwed on, he is a qualified Counsellor and he was the one who took me to my GP a few weeks ago to make sure I got referred to the Community Team, so all in all I have a good support network round me ready to be tapped into
Once again, thanks for the message of support, it really means something to me and it shows me that there is people out there who have similar problems and shows me that people do heave a heart, I tip my hat to you guys, thanks

A Joke

A bloke goes home from the pub, a bit worse for wear, when he gets in he sees his wife doing a pile of ironing, she is on ironing her bra, the bloke says 'I don't know why your ironing your bra, you cannot fill it' to which the woman replies, 'shut up, I iron your underpants don't I'
A Young girl starts working at her local pharmacy, so the manager tells her that most of the chemists purchases are made by young men wanting Condoms, the manager tells her that the young men have a code for what they want, to make sure they don't get too embarrased and neither does the young ladie, he says they have 2 codes for what the men want, either a 2.20 or 4.40. One day a man comes in and asks for 6.60, confused the girl goes to the manager all confused, she says 'theres a man asking for 6.60', the manager says 'is he about 6'5 tall girl: 'yes', manager: 'is he wearing a donkey jacket', girl: 'yes', manager: 'is he steel toed boots', manager: 'is he wearing dirty holed jeans with a cloth stuck in the waist and does he have a bucket between his legs', girl: 'yes, yes, he does, manager: 'Oh, thats the Window Cleaner, give him £6.60
Not that funny, but hell, I'm easily pleased and amused

gallowaylad, I'm on the sick at the moment, I recieve Income Support for this at the moment, I have been signed off working for nearly 5 years now, but I get mixed messages from people about what I can claim and can't claim, I've just been doing what i've told by DWP, GP's etc, I just need to start making my own mind up about things.
Yes I do take meds for it, I take Valproate for my Bi-Polar, Valproate is actually an anti-epilitic but is also effective for mood stabilising
Foxy Moron, yes Bi-Polar is bad, it can be crippling at times, not physically of course, but mentally and emotionally crippling, if you know what I mean, when it comes to Social Services, I have no faith in them anymore, although i've had good Social Workers in the past, as a department they just inept, but what I have got sorted for myself is an appointment with the local Community Mental Health Team, who will assess me and decide on what help I need, hopefully they'll offer me access to a CPN, someone who can come out to my house to see me as that is where I feel more comfortable, more safe if you know what i mean
So here is to a brighter future, maybes the Mrntal Health Team can help with what benefits i'm entitled too

I have got deppresion due to lack of a girlfriend but if I found a nice woman to go out with then I would be one of the happiest men around. So I think you need to tackle the causes of mental illness not just treat the symptoms.
I know exactly what the cause of my illness is, that is not what the topic of this thread was about, this thread was about benefits for people with Mental Illness

Right here goes
Does Mental Health Problems class as a disability, e.g I have Bi-Polar Disorder and my old Social Worker I could put in for Disability Living Allowance, but I've been knocked back time and again for it, so what i'm wondering is, is Mental Health problems classed as being disabled, because I'm starting to think my social worker was leading me down a merry path
hope someone can answer this for me
thanks

Self Harming lies within Mental Health Problems, the way I see it.....I suffer Bi-Polar Disorder and I call it a hidden disease, because there is no physical effects to Mental Health, so therefore.....With me if I tell people I have Bi-Polar, they normally right at me and call me a Bullshitter, because I have nothing physical wrong with me
Does that actually make any sense to people

The USA is ready to strike Iran this month

I can't see where the political negotiation and diplomacy is getting us right now fernilee, I agree Iraq has been a disaster and the way it's going we are looking at a 21st Century version of Vietnam with Iraq
The Government is dragging there heels, the Iranians are demanding the Gov't apologise, but the gov't won't apologise
how do we deal with this issue, because if we back down to the Iranians, i've said this on other threads, where will demands stop, if we back down, that will give the Iranians a consensus to kidnap and hold hostages in the future, then we will get to the point where we cannot give into them, if we give into them it will get to the point where we can't and won't be allowed to back down.....THERE NUCLEAR PROGRAMME
So we have to go in, start another war if we have to, Iran is a dangerous regime, get the American Fighter Bombers in to attack there Nuclear Sites, we need to do something to show them we mean business, because at this moment they have us by the short and curlies and they must think we are the joke of the world in there opinion
If action isn't taken soon, then my guess is after reading the papers and listening to the news is that they will be tried in Iran for Spying and my guess is that if found guilty of Espionage in Iran the penalty will almost be certain death

We might have been under the UN, but the UN are not showing unanimous support for us, the UN have stitched us up like kippers and hung us out to dry, as for war, I'm just pleased the Americans are willing to do something about it, it seems like our government are just dragging there heels, and digging therte heads in the sand, Tony Blair should have committed forces within hours of them getting captured, Iran is run by serious hardline nutcases, he should have known Diplomacy would not work, I really now think this will not be resolved until the UK and US forces are kicking down the gates to Tehran and if this news story is true, then hats off to the Americans for doing something about it
I'd rather it not goto War, I hate the thought of war, but those 15 souls need to be brought home and brought home fast because if no one does anything about it, they will be guest of the Iranian Regime for a long time to come yet

Hey Wendella
The Queen cannot be prosecuted for anything, I don't think, and even if she could she couldn't be done for treason, I mean how why would the Queen act in treason effectively against, lol
I honestly still thought there was the death penalty in place for Treason, although it's never used as we are anti capital punishment
And we were going to Balloted in a referendum for the EU Constitution but it was put on the back burner after the Netherlands and Denmark voted no on it, TB and the Labour Party knew they were on a hiding to nothing putting us to the vote

Is taking Prescription Drugs way over the top classed as Self Harming, if it is, then I've been Self Harming myself for the last 8 years now, it started with Illegal Drugs, I got of the Illegal substances, and found my way into taking Painkillers, not for a medical reason, not cos I need them, but because it helps me block out some stuff that happened to me when I was 17/18
But I'm getting help now for the old tablet problem, so that part of my life will be put behind me in time hopefully

inspirational people

When it comes to inspirational people in my life, I point straight at my mum, because when I was younger, in my teens, I terrorised her, no-one ever knew from day to day what I was going to do or what trouble I was about to cause, Social Services got hold of me when I was 14, which was my choice completely, because it got to the point where I would have got into serious trouble, I was at odds with my step dad, and if I hadn't have got out when I did, I would have either hurt him, he would have hurt or I would have hurt myself
When I went into Care, my mother and step dad stuck by me throughout, throughout the bad times and the even worse times, never once wiping there hands of me, which by my own admission they should have done, but they didn't, I moved back home when I was 19 and I still had a lot of trouble with my folks, and it all come to a head when I was 20 when my mum dragged me kicking and screaming to the doctor, which if she hadn't, again, I'd probably have done some irrepairable damage to the family, although I hated my mum for dragging me to the Docs, It wasd the best thing she ever did for me, because it got all my problems out in the open, although Me and My Mother still **** on like old women today(who doesn't argue with family), I look to her for strength, because no matter what is troubling her, whether it be her problems or my problems, she still gets up every day, goes to work and puts up with my moaning
Other people I look upto are people who suffer from Bi-Polar Disorder, people like John Cleese, Stephen Fry, if they can get on with there lives through there crap, then so can I, people like them have inspired into thinking I can do something with my life and soldier on with my life no matter what barriers is in front of me
And the unknown heroes in my life, My Ex-Social Worker, the staff in the Childrens Home and Youth Workers who helped me through some tough times, some really hard times, who made sure I turned out to be a good person, they made sure they turned me into a Fine Young Man, and they did
That totally pales in comparison to the OP story, what you have been through would have shattered me, would have finished me as a person completely, I tip my hat to you

Last I heard on the News, the EU is supporting us over the Hostage Taking Incident, it's the UN who does not see to be supporting us ov the Iran incident
Anyway I cannot see a day when a British Government will hand over all power to Brussels, the Gov't would have to ballot the country on this issue and I can't see the British People voting yes to this country, my country being dissolved into a European Superstate, I reckon the only reason the EU want to create a superstate is because they want to be able to compete in every deptartment with the United States, it probably wouldn't take Einstein to figure that out
An EU superstate will not happen, this country would never vote on giving up it's heritage, My relatives before me fought to stop that from happening and my relatives after will fight to stop it happening, it is a Scare Tactic by the EU, to be honest I'd prefer Britain to pull out of the EU, Brussels has too much sway over Europe,
For starters why we are in the EU I don't know, they wouldn't allow us to join for year De Gaulle made sure of that, so if they could have done without us for that long why did they take us on in 1973, we survived without them before, I bet we could again

15 kidnapped British sailors. Is this an 'act of war' by Iran?
Posted:
3/29/2007 8:33:45 PM
The UN not backing Britain is a complete and utter joke, It was a UN sanctioned they were on in the first place, sounds to me like the UN have stitched Us up like kippers, it was there mission, but we are taking the fall for it and having to deal with the fallout
The UN are taking this stance now because it is there way of saying 'you get yourselves in these situations, you get yourself out of them', the stance the UN is taken stems back to George Bush and Tony Blair heading into Iraq in 2003
Thats my opinion on it,
As for the Geneva Convention I'm not sure if Iran has signed it, just the Political Commentators on the news have been banging about Geneva
I'm not sure where I read or heard this, but I heard they were been held at an Iranian Naval Base, I couldn't quote where I heard that or whether I just plain imagined it, if not I would imagine the Iranians are moving them around the country
What goes around comes round, and if this isn't settled soon, then another War will be started, Wars have started over less than this, this is a dangerous game the Iranians are playing, and it is been done to simply make us look weak in front of the world, the worst thing is if we give into the Iranians on this, they'll know they have us by the short and curlies and start making other demands, like i mentioned before and think someone else mentioned it, and it will come to a point where we go head with them over there Nuclear programme, and that is one demand we will not be allowed to back down on
