This case is a really tough one for me.The girl,was know to have self harming habits,like taking drugs,drinking,and putting herself at risk,by being sexually promiscuous,non of her character flaws,gives anyone the right to harm her,but at some point,it would be nice,if parent,educators,the police,started warning young girls that this world can be a mean nasty place.God knows all of them did,when I was young
The boys have to live with what they did to her,and someday they will pay,if not in court,then in life,we also have to realize,she didn't kill herself because she was raped,she killed herself because she was horribly harassed after all she went through, by her peers,what a bunch of little monsters kids are becoming.

I have made it a point in my life,to help others,and have,worked with human rights,food banks,in mental health,and with the homeless,I am just about as busy as anyone I know,I guess it all goes back to the values I was taught as a child
over the last 20,30 years,our society's values are really being replaced with greed,anger and hate.Don't share, because the poor are lazy,hate them(could be anyone,gays,natives,or fat people) because their different.
Our world can't keep going down this path,it is simply not sustainable,or practical, even if it were,is that the kind of world that worth living in?

really its not at all different up here either,I forgot to add,that the news,local media,informed us that little girls as young as 13,frequent the bars in town
call me politically incorrect,but,I WOULD CLOSE A BAR DOWN (myself),IF THEY SERVED MY LITTLE GIRL BOOZE,and thats part of the problem,some so called parents really do not give a sh,t about what their little girls are doing.

to be honest,I have not followed this case, in fact I just read about it today
no doubt,it was a terrible crime
but honestly,much,much worse happens every single day
if anyone is interested,all they have to do is check out the local Detroit news
even here in,happy,and safe Windsor (just across the river from motown),last week,2 underage girls were sexually ,molested ,and by grown men (as in old gross men,yuk),and a 16 year old child was forced to preform a sex act on a local hokey player,in the bathroom of a downtown
bar!
(my parents would have killed my sisters if they would have gone into a 'bar',oh,but yeah, at 16,we were busy working after school,busy with sports,busy with chores arround the house,and of course busy studying ......
the number one question is,why are these young girls,doing in a bar,or going into stranger house,because booze was offered
I am in no way saying what happened to any of these girls was in anyway deserved
but it would be nice if there parents stepped up to the plate,and at the very least warned them that the world is not all
ways a 'nice place',and there are dangerous places ,and people out there
I realize that my thoughts are not politically correct,nor is taking personal responsibility!

wow!
you know,growing up my family traveled to the communist east block, several times, to visit family
back then, I learned to really hate the communist system.Everything was a hassel,the media was full of disinformation,the government control was everywhere, people knew what they could say, and more importantly what they couldnt
now it seems to me, that that system was petty totalitarianism compared to what has become of us.....
there at least people knew that they were not free, and didnt like it!
here, we all still think we live in freedom,that we count......
when in fact this is just not the case anymore, here we are suffering from several layers of totalitarianism,our financial system, media, and government
Am I alone in thinking that there is no way in hell that I would ever submit to being finger printed because of a simple financial transaction, this is wrong on every level!

Romney was ,is and will be out of touch with the vast majority of Americans, first of all he was born into money, lots of it, he went to a 'private' school for rich boys and spent all of his life isolated from the middle class and the poor
He also belongs to a religious organization, that also isolates itself from mainstream America, unlike the jews, catholics and protestants who's churches have built shelters, hospitals and centers for education, the Mormons only help themselves,it is their right.
Romney also ran a terribly badly, run campaign , it really tuned off most segments of American society, women, afro americans ,latinos,the poor,the middle class, young people,whites under 30,students, workers and the well educated
I find it amazing that people 'think' this man has any business savy,if he had any he would not have turned away most segments of American society, or at the least, bothered to read ALL or even anyof the public oppinion polls
I am sure the ulta rich, who gave him billions to win the election, are really disapointed in his wonderful business skills
I know I would not want to invest or hire this man to run a corner store......

As for all those bitter republicans that seem to want to blame everything on the poor, and those who have to use social services, 'do you really think anyone wants to live in or on the poverty line' do you honestly think people want to live on the fringes of society, do you think they want to scrape by on food stamps, if you do, give your head a shake, educate yourself,volunteer helping the poor for a week, it will not kill you!
I will add,that all the social programs together do not add up to the cost of a single year in a modern war

Obama is probably Americas first 'great' leaders,when he was first elected, he did the imposible as a back man in one of the worlds most racist societies , he not only ran,for and won, he also gave all, hope. he took a society that was based in fear, greed, militarism , inequality and superstition, and profoundly changed that society
he gained more international respect, than any other US president in history,at a time when the USA was regarded by the world as little better than a hitlers germany, or stalins soviet union
perhaps for the first time in history,and i mean world history, a people have united like never before behind a man,different races, men and women, gays straights, religious and non believers
all this in a day and age, were greed,and money,are much more important than education,democracy,human rights, and even human life
Americans need to take a breath, and a long look at this humble mans dare i say, greatness, rally behind him, and start to build a great society
it wont be easy, a few thousand mega wealthy who run the worlds finances and control the planets wealth, are against him, the ignorant,racist, sexist, greedy and hate filled are against him
they will no doubt try to destroy him, using any means at there disposal,war, the uneducated, ignorant, fearful,old white men that voted for Romney, or international money
America,has the opportunity to finally live up to its founding fathers hopes and wishes for the future, not to mention,make America a great place to live, for all its citizens now
people stand by this great president,his legacy is already set in stone,history will already place him as the greatest leaders in american history, it up to everyone to make this a reality!
