Do You Men Read Our Whole Profiles?
Posted: 8/20/2006 10:46:54 AM | Wasn't sure exactly how to post so I just clicked on the original entry . . . forgive me if it's an online faux pas. However, that being said, I've found after reading a number of the postings in this thread that us guys are really getting a bad rap!!
As a guy that IS actually looking for a long term relationship, I not only read the entire profile of a lady that I may be interested in, I usually will read it multiple times before initiating contact. I love it when the profiles are updated often, as I am afforded a little more info each and every time the profile changes.
I'm fairly new to this online thing, but HEY, come on, cut us guys some slack . . . some of us out here are actually trying to find the RIGHT woman, not just SOME woman. I may not have the world's best memory and (pay attention guys) have to make a little cheat sheet if I'm chatting with more than one woman at a time, but I'm honestly only contacting women whose profiles match most or all of my preferred criteria.
Now a little tip for you ladies out there . . . ONLY POST THINGS IN YOUR PROFILE THAT YOU MEAN. Nothing is more irritating that chatting with a young lady with the hopes that you and her are a match only to find out she's not the woman that she said she was. If you don't want kids, SAY SO, if you aren't interested in Long Term, DON'T SAY YOU ARE, if you don't like smokers SAY SO, if you . . . . etc. etc.
