IM turns me off.

I would say the exact opposite is true, the site has become lifeless and boring without the IM feature. I understand POF did not own the IM codes, or something along those lines....so why not write you own? Is it too complex?
Since there doesn't seem to be a unanimous consensus about whether or not the IM feature is good or not (one could argue that it is good, seeing as every major site has them), why not have it as an option? You can choose to see/accept them and use them...or not. Just because the admin person does not seem to care for them, suddenly they are pointless and won't be offered to the many people who do? | | | |
