Thebrat said "If you don't want a kid don't dip your d!ck" Although alot of guys would accuse me of blastphamy, I agree with this statement. I am the father of an extraordinary young man who would not exist, had I taken the calious attitude of alot of guys in the same situation. His mom got pregnant to "trap" me into marrying her. She's history, but my son lives with me, and has little to do with his mother. She didn't want to be a parent, she just used having a baby to secure what she thought would be her gravy train. Poetic justice, don't you think?

I agree with Karma. Why should you even consider wasting your time on someone who may not be able to accept your kids as your NUMBER ONE priority, and very much a part of who you are as a person? As for the 7:30 call? I suggest a "player" at that time would be worn out from chasing skirts after spending time with you. Keeping your kids a secret makes me wonder who's the player, and who's the "playee"?

Faraz, you said...............

"You may not like islam however i can clarify the misleading concepts in your post"

So, this post is supposed to endear Islam to non-Muslims? Islam was borne out of the Arab culture's viseral hatred for the Jewish culture and the ongoing dispute over the area we all refer to as "The Holey Land". Your post only serves to reinforce the truth about Islam's violent beginnings, and ongoing culture of blood, and hate.

"In most instances when money changes hands profit is somewhere in the equation, is the point"

Most of the positions in the criminal justice system are public servents, paid by the taxpayers, i. e., ME! The taxes I pay are outrageous, but as I understand it, Canada's tax rate is even more repressive. How sad. It's obvious to me you are arguing for the sake of argument. As to last night's insult, Phhhht!, who cares. trust me, I didn't lose any sleep over it.

"60 minutes did a story on exactly this. After the story broke they actually changed the law. So now it goes into a "neutral" fund and then it is split up amongst the Judge, DA, and the Cops. It's sick what goes on out there."

Oh, now there's a source upon which we can all rely.....

In reality, you make my point. Pot is legally in the same catigory as coke, heroine, meth, so on the end-user level, it's available through virtually the same sources. The legalization, regulation, and taxation of pot would seperate the substance from the harder stuff. It would remove the incentive to fund the smuggling enterprises through organized crime, ergo, "The Mob". To think that there is a naferious government policy to keep pot illegal soley for the purpose of acquiring assets by way of the seizure of those possessing the substance, is not only niave, but also borders on paranoia. Now, if you want to point to organized crime, and the influence it has on our legislaters, you have an argument with which I can agree. Now before any lefties, or extreme right wingers jump on this, ask yourself this question: Suppose you ask, say, Trent Lott his opinion on legalization, then asked Ted Kennedy the same question (each without knowing that his answer would be weighed against the other) would there be any meaningful difference? I doubt it.

As US citizens, we have the right, and obligation to question the policies of government, and the individuals to whom we have entrusted the administration of same. It is counter-productive to take the "Us against them" attitude. Focus on your local legislators, and work upward.

"The only ones in the Justice system to profit from Illegal drug trade are the corrupt ones who are on the payroll of the mob bosses.

Lets see here. "

Take a look at my earlier posts, dude. I don't smoke weed, but my stance is that it should be legalized, regulated and taxed, just like tobacco and booze. Now from what method do you think our government will collect the most revenues? Like I told my brilliant Canadian friend, those in the criminal justice system will have plenty of work to do dealing with real crime. All I advocate is to take the profits out of the hands of organized crime, and into the tax coffers.

By the way, for anyone who wants to take "pot" shots at me, I believe in the 2ND ammendment right to keep and bare arms, but I don't own a gun.

corrupt or not."

Please tell me you don't actually believe that statement. I suppose one may attempt make such an argument as to criminal defense attorneys. Don't have the stats, but my guess that the majority of pot related defense costs are through public defenders who's salary is paid by me, the tax payer. The Judges, court reporters, jailers, prosecutors, etc, etc, etc., have plenty of work to do dealing with murders, rapes, beatings, etc etc.

Followers of islam are sadly misguided. Muhammed's "vision" of the Angel Gabrial, was nothing more than a way to seperate the Arab culture from the Judao=Christian culture on a "spiritual" level. I firmly believe that Muhammed is one of the false prophets of which Christ warnes. This also holds true for those who have persicuted Jews, Muslims, Christians, Catholic, Protestant, etc, etc, etc. in the name of any idiology, including "religion" itself. Abraham and Sara were inpatient with God about producing a bloodline, ol abe slept with his Egyptian maid to produce Ishmial, the father of the Arab race. Some argue that the same inpatience led to the establishment of the new Isreal (which was prophacy) before its time. This has fostered the cultural hatred for my country by most Arab countries, but is no excuse for the hatred expressed by our neighbors to the north for whom we have provided a security blanket for the past sixty years. As a Christian, I see Jews as my bretheran, and Islam as a false religion.

I'M LISTENING, I'm fully aware of the translation of "El Gordo" and accept your insult with a good natured chuckle. For the record, O enlightened one, we are more or less on the same side in this debate. If you read my earlier posts you will see that I believe pot should be legalized, regulated and taxed. Does this mean I use pot? No! Does this mean I am an objective thinker and don't base my opinions upon what I am "supposed to think", according to an idiological label of "Right Wing, or Left Wing"? I challange you to muster a shred of objectivity for an answer.

Sexyandbrainy, you said...

"And please don't answer just from a biassed pot user's perspective"

Understand my dear I do not use pot, but as a child of the 70's have had experience with the substance. It is sad for anyone to put any kind of substance abuse, be it food, drink, or herb, above his or her own family or well being. My point is this; I have seen lives and familys destroyed by alcohal, coke, anphedimines, barbs, opiates. From greater than thirty years exposure to these substances, from user, to supportive friend to concerned parent, I have a deeper understanding of the destructive powers of substance abuse, than most. My point is that the most evil aspect of Marajuana use is not the substance and its effects, but rather the sources through which pot is available. the fact that it is illegal means that the same persons that supply pot, can also provide other illegal drugs, that ARE BAD NEWS! My position is that pot should be regulated, sold, and taxed the same as booze. Guess what, they could allocate the additional revenues to the efforts to keep coke "H" and other poisins out.

Tobacco, alcohal, red meat, and Oreo cookies are all bad for our health. I don't see a prohabition on these products. Cannibas should be placed in the same class as tobacco, and alcohal, regulated, and taxed. Of course organized crime has the most to lose if weed were legalized. One only has to look at the alcohal prohibition years in the early 20th century an an example. as long as it is illegal it will only be available through the same entities that make coke, heroine, etc available.

My reply is that any schmuck can be a father. I takes a MAN to be a daddy. Personally, My two teens live with me and my youngest will be with us when she is legally old enough to make her choice. These kids take top priority. So few women want to compete with that. That's okay with me. If you can't take the whole package, you don't deserve us.

I reviewed the press release from CFR to which you refer. Admitedly the specifics contained therein warrent further review and scrutany. I'll repeat that I do not agree with the Bush Administration on current issues of border security, including his reference to the Minutemen as "Vigilanties". You should not infer that those of us who are NOT part of the "Hate Bush-Hate USA first" crowd, walk in lock-step with all the current administration's policies.

Who in his or her right mind thinks the US has an agenda to expand it's borders into Mexico or the People's Republic of Canada? Who in their right mind would want to?

I think Iran's tyranical theocracy will eventually crumble from within due to an uprising of the generation currently seeking to advance more than their nucliear program into the 21st century. I don't think the Bush administration seeks to "level" Iran or Syria. Any government which is however involved in, or supports harming USA citizens here, or abroad deserves to be "leveled".

I'm listening, the UN connection to the oil for food scandel is well documented, and plain to any objective observer. Shipping of WMD to syria and iran is MY theory.

THE USA HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF. So to do anything other than back against the ropes and hide our faces from the punches, is warmongering in your book? I pity anyone who lives in a country that is willing to appease any threat, believing that will protect them from that threat. If you are a part of western civilization, you are under threat by the Muslim extremists, PERIOD!

The biggest Issue I have with the Bush administration, and every one before it, is not focusing more on securing our borders, north and south.

I don't think even US or UK intel can catch everything with the UN running interference. That issue notwithstanding; I think the Bush administration made a mistake focusing upon WMD as a primary issue. I don't believe Bush and Blair conspired to deceive the world on Iraq, any more than I believe the theory that Roosevelt and Churchill allowed the Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor.

There were no WMD left in Iraq because Saddam had time to move them to Seria, and Iran while we were playing footsie with the UN. Regime change was the stated objective for Iraq, with the administration, and that was one of the few Clinton policies that Bush agreed with. The difference is, Bush does what he says, as opposed to saying what is politically expedient with no intent on following through. Regime change in Iraq as a long term stratigic goal for US security is a concept the general public would have difficulty grasping, so the Bush administration focused upon WMD as the hotbutton issue.

'I'm Listening" why don't you focus your ire upon the UN for being being an accomplice to the rape and pillage of Iraq by Saddam through the so-called "oil for food" program.

Is that question "tounge in cheek"? I would say there are as many guys who would have difficulty maintaning eye contact with a woman sporting a large pair of breasts, as there are women who will only date a guy they think are rich. Neither sex should paint the other with a broad brush. We can all be that shallow if we allow ourselves to be. One thing that gets my attention more so than a large set of breasts, is a woman with a beautiful mane of red hair.

That's what dating is all about dude. If either one of you bring up the subject of marriage on the first date, the other should run run run!

It's only unethical if you intentionally mislead her. Again if SHE brings it up early on, you gotta make a decision at to whether you break it off, or con her.

Scylla, you are probably far more cerebral than most boys in their teens and twenties can handle. I'll bet in a battle of whits you come fully armed, and take no prisoners. This can intimidate most boys and men. I also sense that you may be your own worst critic internally, but it makes you come across as ****y. In your profile you say your body type is "a few extra pounds" by who's standards? You are very lovely, and the one pic which shows your torso, tells me your body has the curves that turn men on. Just be postive and upbeat about your self, and avoid deep discussions about politics, religon, etc. Keep the deep stuff within your woman of mystery side. This is just one opinion from a man who's been around the block a few times. Trust me, it is, and will always be easier for women to get laid than for men. That's just the way the world works.

I'm glad your experience had a good outcome. I've taken a chance more than once and regretted it. Twice, I relied on 20 year old photos, and another time, no photo at all. The thing is, not so much the current physical appearence, but the underlying deception. I'm currently "pen pals" with a couple of women, who have not sent me photos, nor will I pressure them to do so. That's okay with me. If that's the level they want to keep our relationship, I'm all the richer for it.

There is absolutly nothing wrong, or unattractive about you. Stay the course, and be true to yourself. Keep your personal/private life, e.g the fact that you like a good buzz, to yourself until you find someone you can open up to. You shouldn't feel like you are not genuine if you don't put all your cards on the table, up front. Remember you are in a forum with literally a global reach. There are alot of creeps out there who see this forum as nothing more than a way to get laid without having to reveal who they really are. Take a look around at some of the "nice guys" you've probably ditched in the past. You may just find happiness in your own back yard.

You find yourself making a futile attempt to stop your son from making the same mistakes as you........the very same mistakes your Father tried in vein to prevent you from making.

I remember my Mom banning Rowen & Martin's Laugh-in from the TV because it was "too vulgar"; and the Three stooges because (like most women) she just didn't get it.

I remember being the envy of the neighborhood cause we had a color tv, Nuke bomb drills where we hid under the cafeteria tables, as though that was going to do any good......

What do you think of my profile

Try not to be so deep in your profile. Fully understant why you talk about your child. but save it for when you are in closer contact. Can't say I wouldn't be doing the same thing. Hang in there, man

Constructive Criticism Requested:

Prim, I recently liberated myself from a woman, after spending 1/3 of my life with her) who was clinically certified bi-polar so based upon my personal experience, my opinion is that this is not where you are coming from. For God's sake, just keep in mind that at 28, you're just beginning this life journey. You have a flaire for the written word, which should be nourished. Just relax, be yourself, and you're going to do fine. Constructive criticizm? Shorten your profile, and leave more to the imagination. You're gonna do just fine, my dear.

Ok Be honest ... what do you think?

Angel, I'll bet for every email your getting that's just about sex, your getting another that's more sincere. I'll further bet you're ruling those guys out beacuse you find their profiles boring.

The fact is your pics reveal you are very attractive, I would think that the blunt sexual responses come with the territory. ( put the shoe on the other foot, and guys will tell you they wish they should be so lucky)

Keep in mind the forum you are in, and take a closer look at some of the guys who are reaching out to you, You may just be surprised.
