Who Loves Thunder storms? Posted: 7/27/2009 3:46:35 PM
I love electrical storms for sure! Out here in Ashcroft our storm was absolutely amazing! That was by far the best and the longest show of lightening I have ever seen in my life. It boomed and flashed while the thunder cracked all around. Our storm started before dark and went till dawn. I watched it till 1130 or so. The hail was massive and the rain came down in sheets! Everyone out here who has lived in this area for many years has never seen a storm so intense. We were on severe thunderstorm watch again yesterday and for today as well. Nothing happened yesterday. I am hoping for later today again though. Just without anymore fires. It is so bone dry out here in the interior! Glad you guys enjoyed the show! Cheers!

last boyfriend I had. .had the small little beady eyes.. my 18 year old son always said 'he had a crazy look about him.'. at times I saw it too.. I dismissed this mostly because I went to school with him 20 years prior.. (never drank.. because he said he didn't like who he turned into..).. hmmm long story short.. one night he got completely drunk.. and he snapped.. the beady eyes were right there. and he attacked me..nearly choking me to death.. the police said he had no memory even of what happened.. [beady narrows eyes have memory loss too??] by the way.. this is only my opionion.. which I am entitled too.. and I definately notice the difference.. I choose the wide eyes!!!

(starfire56) don't you think that if the world was really in fact going broke.. that people wouldn't spend so much time or money.. in the pubs.. not just singles in there either.. so don't use that excuse... I really don't think that this economy issue has effected their business all that much if at all.. any servers .. or bartenders out there to comment on that??

true to fact.. every time I have gone out .. including tonight.. the pubs are jam packed.. why does this seem to have no effect on our every so declining economy??? people are still laughing and enjoying themselves.. drinking eating and tipping....and everything seems just the same.. do you notice this same fact????

hi just to let you all know .... I am up at Cypress right now ... we have recieved 45 cm of fresh snow and it is falling currently,and expected to as well tomorrow...... however.......... ^^^you know it will be filled to the max.. ps.. I suggest you do what I do when hosting a function.. print out a list of the attendees.. .. just before you leave to go.....this way they can put their names beside who they are.. (for picture purposes.).. and also.. if someone isn't sure who someone is.. at least they will know that they are there.. makes it a little more personable.. ( I think anyways..) and then you can also have those who (didn't sign up) write their names down there too.. just a thought

3 Friday the 13th this year... so enjoy! Feb, March, Nov. yay.. that means my Birthday fall on Friday the 13th this year also.. bring it on!! ps.. full moons are a great time to go out also.. I was in Ashcroft at the local pub there.. which is normally dead.. it was a full moon.. there were tons of people there. partying up a storm.. one guy arrived with a dead deer strapped on the roof of his truck..(last day of hunting season).. came in and joined in the fun.. lmao.. now THAT was an interesting night..

most of the cork trees were wiped out by the Saudies years ago.. they decided to build huge monster homes instead.. gee how nice of them!! lots of good wines are coming with screw caps now.. the wine that I love has a screw cap and a plastic cork underneath.. then you screw the lid back on.. I choose both I suppose.. doesn't really matter to me..
