I'm gonna try to make it to pool. I have Run Club until 8:00 or so. Thought I might have a shower after that (make myself all "sweet-smellin")... Just thought I would warn ya. :)

KITCHENER Valentines Party @ the Edelweiss - PICTURES & COMMENTS

LoveJR, Cher, and Wendy... gotta say... WAY TO GO LADIES!

Thanks for the fan-freakin-tabulous time! I was completely terrified the first half hour, but once the dancing started, I couldn't help but be off and runnin'. Since I've given you credit for the good time, does that mean I can lay blame for the hangover? :)

I was impressed by your decorations, and how well everything was all organized. You ladies worked hard at making this newbie feel very welcome. I can't believe how comfortable I felt in a crowd of virtual strangers!

I hope to make it out to a coffee night sometime soon -- and I'm way better at bowling than I am at pool, so I'll cheer and play too! I can hardly wait for another chance to get away from these textbooks. See y'all soon!

Survey gauge interest in a POF motorcycle day ride.

Count me in.

As for simplicity, here's a suggestion: pick a date (and an alternate rain date); pick an "end" location (Wasaga, Port Elgin, something) and time. Each city can pick a meeting/start location and away we ride!

I have a bike (and, thankfully, a license!); I theoretically can take a passenger, but I never have, and I don't have a backrest. But I wouldn't leave anybody standing around or missing out on the fun!

And maybe if you wanted a more 'intimate' ride, you could narrow it down by city/area or whatever.

Would love to meet some other riders; the bike doesn't get out much because I don't know anybody to ride with. And that just sucks.

Bring on Spring, dagnabbit!

EDELWEISS VALENTINES PARTY * Saturday, February 17 * Kitchener

Alright; I think I've mustered up enough of my courage to come. I know you SAY you're nice to newbies (and I have been to one coffee night, so I know it's true), but this is my first dance event and I'm kinda terrified. Kinda? Not even close to kinda. How about completely?!

And what to wear? Holy Hannah! I've been to the Edelweiss so many times, my jeans and sweatshirt pretty much jump out of the closet themselves; but I'm guessing 'casual' isn't the attire for the evening... Hmmm... I did just buy a new bathing suit...

Okay, I'll give it a go. eek! Talk to strangers? You've GOT to be kidding me. What the heck am I doing? Oh right; getting out and meeting people. Right. Okay. I can do this. Really I can. Honest. See y'all tomorrow...

Hey y'all!

I haven't been out to PoF events since my first night because I teach a running clinic on Friday nights at 6:30. I sure plan to make it out to this event because I think Valentine's Day sucks (okay, I've only thought that since I've been single). I'm sure you guys will make this fun!

See you then!

Hi there!

Friday night sounds like fun... but I've never been out to one of your get-togethers before. How do I know who the PoF people are? (Can't word that quite right, but I hope you get what I mean.) Argh. I hate the anxiety that goes with new stuff!
