TDH as a woman who is tiny 5' ft 98 lbs it is very hard for me to find clothing to fit my body . I shop in the kids & jrs section because I have to , and I do like dressing young but not kiddish . I have a 13 year old fashion critic ( my daughter ) who shops with me and tells me if things look like they are to young for me ( I do not want to look like I am trying to be 13 again just a young 40 ) . When I can find clothing in the misses section that is small I normally have to have it altered . I do understand were your are coming from because believe me I cannot handle a 40 year old man dressing in the baggy hip hop style . Your lady friend might have been dressing for the casual ball game ( or her version ) , you might want to get to know her better & in a different setting and see were it goes . I dress very differently from one fuction to the next you might catch me in low slung jeans & a snug t shirt for a day out at the park but that night I might be in black dress slacks , heels & a silk shirt. To all the people who run when someone ( over 18 ) says they live with a parent.... In todays world there are many reasons other than they are still (mentally children ) as to why some one lives ( or shares a home ) with there parent . I ask before I ASS U ME ! I am a 39 almost 40 yr old & share my home with my Mom who is disabled and unable to live by herself but is in no way ready for a nursing home. I run when I find out someone is not willing to take care of the people who brought him/her into this world . For the simple reason if he/she is not willing to take care of them in there time of need .... how will this person react if /when I need help ?

Here in my little town is a boy (13 years old ) named Critter , when I first met the child ( at age 6 months ) I forgot to be PC & asked his mother why they didn't just tattoo kick my a** on his forhead lol . There is also a little boy in Fort Worth Texas named Trophy .I named my oldest daughter Stormy but did not stick her with a weird middle name , my youngest daughters name is Starla & yes I have a thing for the sky and weather lol !

To the women who posted this question first: As you can see by all of these post some people will judge and judge wrongly/ harshly. My thought is this ... the ones who do and will judge you wrong are not fit to be in your life . I want people in my life that have open minds and open hearts not someone who close minded and mean to those who are differenrt or have a different living life style then they do . Your daughter is blessed for having a mom that wants what is best /right for her . Good luck and hold your head up , your daughter has a mom to be proud of .

I have had to cancel dates at the last minute but it has been due to things like babysitter backing out , my elderly mother who I take care of becoming ill etc. And I have had men cancel at the last minute for good reason BUT a few weekends ago I was to meet a guy in a town over an hour away from me...... to make it short after me being late ( not due to any fault of my own but I was still late ) he could not meet because he had company show up at his house ( OK why couldn't he tell his friends excuse me but I jhave a date & I don't want to blow her off? ) anyway He said he would call me next day & we would go to lunch .... not even a phone call next day so I e mailed something must have happened ... ok he e mails back yeah he was called in to work ( he is in law enforcement ) but he would call me , yep you guessed it NO call so I e mailed him to loose my number lol & yep He called ..... my daughter hung up on him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will give second chances but If you say you are going to call you need to keep your word !

I have read all the post & I see this very differently ....... I see a promise ring as a token of friendship inside the relationship not a promise to marry , maybe this is because the first one I recieved was by a guy I am still friends with & he gave it to me with the words of " this is a promise ring to sybolize the fact that no matter what the future holds we will always have our friendship " ! I like this because even if you promise to marry or marry someone you never know what the future holds but you can remain friends . ( if both parties want to )

The only bad dates I can remember ( I think I have blocked out most lol ) is guys being really rude to the waitresses . Also a few not wanting to take no for an answer at the end of the date !!!!!!

Nate is right she is to young to stay by herself & trust me Nyquil doesn't slow her down lol ! Opti .... Nate is my Buddy & I just love him to death so I know if I could make it I would have no problem with drinks or a room . But my kiddo comes first . As for the cuddling lol Nate I know you ... you will have them lined up waiting to cuddle you ( he is a doll after all lol ) !
