i am not going to be judgemental, I did everything for my ex! He did not acknowledge anything, and I would ask him to go places with me and would never do this during our marriage. so i truely understand what you were going through. He never showed emotions either!
So we are in the same situtation but you with a wife and I with a husband who we should of carefully reconsidered earlier in life.
Both will survive, mine did! and so will yours!
But sometimes moving on is the best thing to do!

That was such a wonderful christmas story and It makes you wonder! it makes you think about material versus, a simple thing about seeing the Christmas windows and that we should take people to see things more than buy. I went to see christmas lights and got more joy out of that then anything else.
I would rather make someone something than buy them that present they do not want.
That is a memory present, in this story.

Italian and greek foods

the local greek orthodox church has excellent cookbooks and if they have a bookstore or a festival that is when you pick these up and they do have wonderful receipes for everything greek.
find and Itallian-American or a Greek-American club or organization and they will be more than happy to help you with what is going.

Some people take longer than what you would like them to take. I would not rush her, you can grieve, and just keep being her friend inviting her to activities, but do not place her in situations that make it uncomfortable. Death is final and you do not see that person anymore. With a lost love you can run into them again. She has her special memories that only she holds close to her heart, and some people think that they would be disrespecting their former spouse.

Courting is much nicer, I would rather get to know someone than to have that person be in it for all the wrong reasons. Some people still like the older ways, then the hook up and wham bam style of dating. I vote for old-fashioned courting!

I like to see the persons face and a smile, that is what attracts me! If you are without a shirt then i kind of move past those pictures. If you are having your hand down in the Michael Jackson pose, I run fast, because i figure you might have bugs down there and like the kids song says "Let me see you itch and scratch, what's that you say, Oh ah ah Ooooh ahh ah Oooh!"

I asked my one friend how many women he called baby and he said everyone and I said wow! Is it that you cant remember all the women's names and he said he could only remember my name?? and then I asked the other women that he was e-mailing if he used baby on them and they said yes! So what number baby were you? He always said I was number one and then I found out that there were 25 other number ones!!! and I walked away!
