I recently moved and now I have to drive the rest of my belongings from Pittsburgh to Jacksonville. I will be driving a 16' U-Haul. I have never driven anything but a car. Does anyone have any helpful hints? Thank you

I can not imagine the level of pain a person that commits suicide must be in. My heart breaks to think that anyone feels that hopeless and lonely. The only thing I can do is to hope that those poor tortured souls have found peace. Now the really hard part is trying to find the right words and actions to comfort those left behind. I can not even imagine the pain that they must be feeling in the depths of their soul. To all of you that are going through this or have, I wish you peace and I hope you all have someone to comfort you and know you are loved.

I talked to someone that not only lied about his age but also his weight. The funny thing is, he now has a blurb on his profile about women that lie about their age and weight. Now when someone tells me that they have been less then honest about themselves they are automatically put into the not a chance in H*ell category.

No one has ever shown me a picture of what I am supposed to look like at my age , so I don't know if I look my age or not. I do know, I have been a daughter, a wife, a mother and now a grandmother. I have cried, Laughed, worried and been stressed and I am sure it that it shows. But I'm happy to have been able to have those experiences and hopefully will have many more. So, you can judge me on my age, it is right there on my profile for all to see. For those of you that say age is just a number, why lie about it? I won't judge you on that, but I will judge you for trying to start something based on a lie. Be happy you have made it how ever far you have. Consider the alternative.

I have never contacted this person, but it does make me wonder what has happened in his life that has made him so bitter and hateful that he feels the need to lash out at complete strangers. Start with a simple hello. People love to talk about themselves. Learn to ask open ended questions that can not be answered with a yes or a no. Look them in the eyes when you are talking to them. Keep in mind, most women are just as nervous as men when meeting someone new. Have fun and be yourself.

My dearest friend recently relocated for love. Desperate, needy, unrealistic, Hardly! She took a leap of faith. Knowing her as well as I do and for as long as I have, I can honestly say she gave up nothing. However what she has gained is a friend, a lover, peace, a kind and caring man. He didn't fare to bad either. Would I do it? You bet your sweet bippy (showing my age LOL) I don't want to wake up one day and say what if? Nothing in life is certain. Every chance not taken is an opportunity lost. In the end though we all have to do what we are comfortable with, so I would never judge or put down anyone for the choices they have or have not made.

VGE, Great post. It must have been a Forest Gump Sunday. LOL Sometimes there just aren't enough rocks to throw. I love that movie because it shows what anyone can do with a spirit that can't be broken. How very much can be accomplished even when all the cards are stacked against us. I know how hard it is sometimes to keep trying when you continually get your hopes dashed. Will I follow my heart again? Yes, perhaps not so quickly, but I will. Luckily I have some wonderful friends and friends that are like family that help me keep that spirit alive. In the meantime I am having fun laughing and loving life, and what a wonderful life it is.
