Something that I cannot tolerate!

my pet hate relates to those thousands of men and women we come across in this country with an i q of neanderthal proportions, who profess to know all about football, and act so nerdy, conceited and crass.
they all go by one collective name.......................manchester united supporters.

there isnt enough vomit in the world to truly describe these people.

Having your views turned upside down in an instant.

from the time that man started to trade with the coin, to the present day, corruption has been apparent in every aspect of society, from large nations to small businesses.

this, unfortunately, is the way of the world, and as far as anyone can see, always will be.

if there is an exception to this corrupt rule, then it must be the bhudist way, the one group of peoples who live up to their beliefs.

their belief system tells them that everything is, or will be balanced by karma, we re-incarnate through many lives, within those lives we will behave in many ways, have many gifts, (talents), and many negative traits, those traits ranging from greed, (at the expense of anyone we can take from), to all aspects of deviancy, sexual or otherwise.

so if, in this life, you are a good and concerned human being, well, you no doubt have learned lessons from past lives, but there are young souls entering the earth plane all the time who have to go through the other stages i have mentioned, and as the world is more populated now than any time in the past, we are presented with more young souls, and unfortunately, more corruption.
peace and blessings one and all

Buying a business
Posted: 11/14/2009 4:06:38 AM
hi 925, the fact that this business is spiritually based, why not take route one........do a tarot spread on the question, if you don`t know how, then as you`re interested in this theme, you probably know of someone with experience who may be able to do a 'throw' for you, also: consult your personal horoscope (not the silly newspaper columns, but your own personal birth chart to check on your planetary trends), i can do that for you at no cost, it doesn`t take very long to plot the transits, just message me if you want this.

personally, i am a great believer in cosmic ordering, how to do it can be found on google.

i would not offer this advice to anyone wishing to go into any other type of business, i could well be met with derision if i did.

Brits are ugly and so say all of them............!
Posted: 11/12/2009 4:43:25 PM
the bye line on my profile used to read 'FEEL THE VIBE', and as such, got a few replies to messages sent, but lots deleted without reply, which is the norm for a lot of the men on the site.
now bearing in mind that in a lot of cases our pictures may not do us the justice of how good we really look, it`s so hard to tell, you meet someone and in a lot of cases (not all), they look better and younger than their picture.

so recently, keeping the same picture up, i changed my bye-line to ROMANTIC ANGLO-ITALIANO, (dad italian), and right away the average responce to my messages increased to a marked percentage, now this goes to prove a point with lots of ladies from the british isles, that the english are basically ugly, and italians are good looking, and more romantic.

now i don`t personally find the english all that ugly, but the scots!, eeeech!!

What's With This Horoscope Stuff?
Posted: 11/10/2009 9:03:56 PM
i was merely giving proof of the validity of the predictive aspect of astrology, why not just follow the theme of what i said through from there with your own research through google, no doubt you will discover lots of interesting and quite amazing predictions that have materialised.

your question about planets, i don`t quite understand what you mean?,
how can planets move apart? did you mean to say star formations, (clusters of suns with planets circling them.).
if that is what you meant, well it has absolutely no relevance whatsoever to astrology.

everything in space, including us of course, has been moving away from the core of the conception of the universe since its forming, this is known throughout certain cultures as 'the breath of brahma', as brahma (god) exhales, so the universe expands, as brahma inhales, so the universe retreats back to where it all started.
the predictive art of astrology has been known to mankind for many many thousands of years, do you think that the civilisation we are all part of is the first homo-sapien group to have evolved, or could your mind possibly concieve of the option of many civilisations that have come and gone in the history of our planet?.

not only has tomorrow already happened, but it will, like the past, repeat itself over and over again, as when 'brahma' inhales, all the matter in our universe will be condensed to the size it was at the time of what is euphemistically termed 'the big bang', and then things will start all over again, and of course, which makes perfect sense when viewed in the abstract, i will be typing this post in billions of years to come, smoking a marlboro light, whilst the very same people will be reading the post as if for the first time, and those who accepted and at least part understood my claims when they read it before this exhalation by 'brahma', will do so again, and those who didn`t accept it before, will not accept it this time.
diversity of thought and belief is fine, but whatever we come across in the wisdom of life, it takes time to formulate (sink in) in ones mind.

forget derren brown, forget all the silly points being made about astrology, it looks like i have to repeat what i said in a previous post on this thread.
as a predictive art (ie; predicting future trends), the results are amazing, one astrologer predicted russia becoming a democracy, giving the month and year of this happening, and that was 10 years beforehand, when there was no indication of such an event.

a japaneise astrologer predicted the 9/11 disaster a year before, and even had the graphics put on a cd sleeve 6 months before it happened.

there are many other predictions that have come to fruition, both on a world scale, and with what has been imparted to individuals in private readings.

forget the sensationalism connected with nostradamus, there isn`t much truth there.
the best predictions are those that are made in simple, easy to understand terms.

this fine art will tell you that 'tomorrow has already happened', and as far as my beliefs take me, this is a well researched fact.

friendship
Posted: 11/9/2009 9:11:12 AM
this does indeed make sense, all i wish to say is lets think in wider terms.

there are many millions of people on this planet who have a friend called jesus. many millions with a friend called mohammed, or bhudda, or solomon, and so it goes ad-infinitum.

we don`t text, ring, or write to these people, reason being, of course, they exist only within the framework of the persons belief system, and of course are on a different plane, but to the devotee, are contactable just the same.

so when it comes to friends still in body and living at the same time as we are, yet we don`t speak or write, they are still there, but on a sub-conscious level, where their mere being can influence us with conversations of the mind, whether we are asleep or awake.

i would happily go into this more if more information is required, i am also sure that readers of this thread will, in the main, have a reasonable idea of what i`m saying.

te validity of astrology can be proved easily enough by the predictive trends that can be gleaned through planetary transits, there are far more hits than misses when someone with the knowledge gives this information, in fact, the results can be astounding, i could give many instances, but i would ask the reader, if they so wish, to find them personally.

as has been previously stated, the level of your own re-incarnations will determine your interest/curiosity.

so for those amongst us with an enquiring mind, i say to you in all sincerity, keep your minds, and eyes and ears open, one day, through proper research (not the derren brown stage managed stuff!) but what comes your way through a deeper and more of a spiritual insight, then the celestial penny may well drop, i hope it does, if for any other reason it doesn`t, then it must mean that you are not meant to understand it in this incarnation.

gucci girl: it`s down to what is called 'synastry', the position of your venus has to make a good angle with the mans mars, this can be found in seconds through what is known as an ephemeris (a book of planetary positions for any moment in time).

there are also other factors to look at, rising sign, moon position, 7th house activities (marriage) 11th house activities (friendship), 5th house activities (secret love affairs), but this sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is.

if you need personal information re: your own chart, feel free to message me.

steve, n answer to your question, 'a bit of rock in the sky at any one time'.

everything in the heavens (universe), is influenced by everything else, there is absolutely nothing that is random!

the same principal applies even on the quantum level.

here`s food for thought, any planet in our solar swystem can be plotted to its actual position for any time in the past or into the future, so taking this point to its conclusion.........TOMORROW HAS ALREADY HAPPENED!!!

"and why not" says the writer.

peace and blessings

what is displayed on our profiles is our star sign, a horoscope is another name for an astrological chart cast from the moment a person is born!

the only people in the whole wide world who are likely to debunk the subject aqre those who haven`t studied seriously.

it has literally nothing in common with what you read in the newspapers, it`s an exacting science, ask any scientist who has taken time out to investigate the validity of the art.

michel gauqualin was a psychologist and statastician who was well respected in scientific circles, he made a study of hundreds of birth charts in order to debunk, but had to admit that his findings, (especially relating to a persons occupation), came out stastically very much in favour of the validity of astrology.

not everyone is typical of their birth sign, that is because the sun in your chart may be obscured by both the angle it makes with other planets, and the position (house) that it appears in, but by and large, most people possess lots of traits relative to their date of birth.

there is a reasonably large area of the brain that links with religion, as neuroscience will tell you.
how we involve ourselves with such philosophy is all down to our wiring.
consider the fact that man has followed many gods since the dawn of civilisation (whatever
happened to the sun worshipers, at least they could see their god, and understand its validity).
go forward in time to any period you like, and man will still be worshiping some or other diety.
the jw`s have only been around since charlie russell promoted the faith around the 1830`s, and though the`ve grown in vast numbers since, just like all religious beliefs, they will, one day, dissappear to make way for something new, as will all forms of religion that are around today.

do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith??
Posted: 11/3/2009 2:39:11 PM
every once in a while i find a willing partner between half and two thirds my age, say mid twenties to mid thirties, this is because i believe i will!

i carry that thought with me all the time, both in my waking mind and my subconscious,, these young ladies, like myself, are not inclined toward anything of a serious nature.

if you are at ease with yourself, and know how to use your eyes, your voice and your body language to excite the ladies tastebuds, then these conquests are very much on the cards.

there is a knack in knowing who to pick, i don`t wish to sound in the slightest egotistical, but this type of recreation plays an important role in my life.

good luck to all you ageing lotharios,` tis a wonderful pastime.

cosmic ordering
Posted: 10/23/2009 4:06:51 PM
as a diabetic, on april the 1st (don`t laugh), i sent out an order for better health, and within six months i had brought my blood sugar level down fron an average 18+ to an average of between 4 and 7, which to those of you who are unfamiliar with these things, the level i am now at is just what the medical world wants to see, i`ve also managed to reduce my insulin from a daily dose of 100 units, down to 32, which again is very good, and on top of all that, i have lost over 3 stone in weight.

6 weeks ago i asked for a girlfriend within a fortnight, and for the last few weeks have been seeing a really nice lady who i met on pof.

this is the first time ever (after a few years on the site), that i`ve actually got past the first stage (mailing, first and only meet), so for me cosmic ordering is working.

so to those of you who may be led by curiosity, and after reading up on it, may put it into action (dont spend any money on it, there are free downloads that give plenty of information, or google 'the secret', and watch the free 20 minute dvd intro) i wish you good luck and rich rewards.

cosmic ordering
Posted: 10/23/2009 3:26:34 PM
have any forumites ever come across cosmic ordering?

this isa belief system wheras you put your order in, send it into the ether (or where ever it`s meant to go), and because the universe responds to all our thoughts, good or bad, and providing you follow the correct steps, your rewards will come flooding in to you within whatever time span you suggest.

according to what i have read, both on the net, and in books on the subject, the most popular order by far is for untold wealth, other popular requests are health, romannce, and career opportunities.

you may also send an order in for things for friends and relatives.

if you`ve ever tried this concept, were your wishes granted, if you`ve never tried it, but have knowledge of it, what is your take on the subject.

what makes us human
Posted: 1/24/2007 2:27:57 PM
life IS problematic! it has to be, or it would not be life!!!!

not only within humanity, but just look at the problem faced by other forms of life, life is a daily grind of survival for most creatures on the face of the earth, bar the odd exeption, and there are very very few of those.

i voted not to delete your thread, in order to give people on here the opportunity to help and guide you(i do not wish to appear condesending with this last statement).

lots of us dont appreciate what we`ve already got until a problem arises, yours is an emotional one, this type of problem is no greater or less than most others.

i hate to sound as if i`m lecturing,(sorry if i do), but you will always find people with worse problems than your own,

failed relationship, well, your ego is dented because of who we love most-OURSELVES.

you say the area you live in is a drag-plan immediately to live somewhere you will feel happier in, start your plans right away, you will feel better.

good luck.

Should we abolish the watching of football in pubs?
Posted: 1/23/2007 1:38:59 PM
REALPEDRO: everyone understands association football as soccer, nobody ever says'what do you mean'.
the term has been used for over a hundred years, in this country it differenciates association football from both rugby union football (yes, football, it`s full title ), and rugy league football.

the word soccer is used extensively throught the english speaking world for the very same reason, (differs from american football etc.,)

you are asking people to change the habit of a lifetime merely on a whim, and an incorrect whim at that.

i`m sorry if the word 'soccer' assults your sensitive eardrums, but soccer it is, and soccer it will always be!

Cults
Posted: 1/23/2007 11:36:29 AM
i have yet to find a 'cult' or networking organisation that will allow you to just come and go as you desire, they want your mind, they want your cash, they want every single aspect of YOU!

most of these so called 'cults' depend on brainwashing techniques, in order to make you subservient and easy to manipulate, that way they can get you to hand over all your hard earned cash without too much difficulty.

i have run, co-run and supervised forums for many years, these forums, or groups will meet on a regular basis to debate on metaphysics and the like, each member paying a couple of pounds or so each visit, merely to cover costs.

nobody is bound in any way, fail to turn up one week, no penalty, drop out for one reason or another, no animosity.

what do i get out of it? along with the social side with like minded people, i am learning along with everyone else, you cant teach something new 6 months down the line if you haven`t stopped to learn all the major aspects of the topic you wish to expound on.

also, there are people in these groups who may wish to consult me on a personal level with one or more of my escoteric services on offer, but that is not a compulsary pre-requisite.

so what i am saying is, just because there are many mind bending, unscrupulous organisations operating the world over, dont let this stop you from enjoying the wonderful experiences that many people past and present have had with the right type of group.

if you need to know anything about any such 'cult' or organisation you may be interested in, but not sure whether you should get involved, dont hesitate to mail me, and if i can help with sound advice i will.

PSEUDO: hi there, you make it clear you dont like football, there can only be one valid reason , you cant have ever heard of a***nal f c, they play dream football at a place called the emerites stadium in north london.

you will be made to feel very much at home should you pay a visit, especially if you wear a red shirt, make sure it has the a***nal badge on it and not the man utd badge, or the hardened a***nal fan may just turn around and say 'excuse me my dear old fashioned chum, but i rather feel you`ve made a mistake in your wearing apparel',

then he`ll turn to his associates all around and say ' i say, there`s a gent sitting next to me who i gather by his sporting attire, that he may just be supporting those fine fellows we have welcomed to our ground today'

then a dozen or so home supporters will get up off their seats, make their way towards you, and proceed to rip your goolies off, and kick f uck out of you!!!!

UGLYOGRE: in your first post you hinted that most of the members using the forums were insane with your buddhism views, you said buddha was insane, and that should suit the membership on the forums!!!

such an inane and insulting statement leaves me with no doubt whatsoever as to your spiritual integrity.

i replied as one voice in support of all the postees before me who you were refering to, and no doubt, all those yet to come in support of the member who started the thread, and who was merely looking for intelligent and enlightened advice.

the buddha was sitting under a tree one day talking to the people who had gathered around him, when a brash and arrogant man approached.
he started to insult the buddha, all the time raising his voice to a level of volume where it was impossible for bhudda to carry on talking.
when the man paused for breath, buddha said to him'what would you do if someone offered you a gift that you did not want, a gift that you had no use for', the man said ' i would give it back', to which bhudda replied ' and i will do the same with your insults'.

so there my friend (dont know if you`re man or woman, haven`t looked at profile), buddha has spoken!!!!!!!!!!!!!

more things you are not aware of: buddhism is not a religion as you have stated, it is a wisdom, you can even call it a disipline if you like, but whatever you wish to call it, it demands nothing from you, you follow its principles only if you want to, and of your own free will with nobody forcing anything upon you.

so i have blown your futile argument out of the water with just a few words, please educate yourself in the matter at hand before trying to belittle the majority of sincere forum members who have gone before me.

UGLYOGRE: when knocking any philosophy or wisdom such as portayed in buddhism, one has to have a wisdom of their own in place that trancends the wisdom you personally disagree with!!!
do you have such a wisdom at hand?, if you do possess such a enlightenment, i`m sure lots of the forum contributors, especially the ones you have issued a broadside towards, me included, would love to be put on the right path by you!!!

if you are privy to such an advanced enlightenment that is guaranteed to leave buddhism at the starting post, then please inform us poor unfortunates who, according to you, with all the spiritual good we try to promote in an insane world, are in no way worthy of being in the same forum as yourself!

i await our exhaulted reply with bated breath and wonderment!

who do you think would have inherited the title of king of rock and roll?

from the first time i clapped eyes on him, i thought 'here`s a comic genius', with mr cleese it`s not just the utterances from that space between his nose and his chin, it goes a lot further than that, i call it funny bones.

i merely have to look at him to find him funny.

what is your opinion?

Peter Kay

here`s my two pennyworth....

IF LAUGHTER IS CONTAGIOUS........PETER KAY HAS FOUND THE CURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i must admit though, i saw him under adverse conditions, the curtain was up!

two things about his performance should have been cut....the script and his throat!!

i may have laughed at his jokes at the age 6, but in the period in between then and now i have seen so many comedians with talent, (+not one of peter kays jokes is origional), all copied from 3rd rate perfomers) his scriptwriters look in the archives at performers work from before a lot of us were even born!).

if you really want to know my tastes in comedy and wit, (if your`e a peter kay fan you probably wont), but i`ll tell you anyway.

for pure sophistication, noel coward, for clever one liners and observational wit bordering on the ridicolous, paul merton, for total ridiculous humour, bottom.

others i find very talented are stephen fry, george mellys wit between his songs, for sheer likeabilty joe pasquali, a man who just has funny bones, john cleese, in fact, a thread like this one on john cleese might not be a bad idea, i`ll go and start one right away.

ps.rowan atkinson also makes me laugh.

Is life really what you make it
Posted: 1/20/2007 10:22:15 PM
lots of good advice here, especially from my idol liverpool lily, i agree with the books and the vits, they are both positive steps.

there`s also another side to the coin, life is an illusion in many ways, we sometimes become on an outward level the person that another. or others have told us we are, and that is not of course, the real us, just like mr mckenna hypnotises subjects to believe in themselves. so negative people who come into our lives hypnotise us, through repetetiveness, to believe we are pretty worthless.

there we have the illusion!!!,

it is our right to have success, and to not have it is to deny ourselves that very same right!!!

a lot of people in exhailted or high profile positions give off an air of confidence to those around them, because the illusion they are under is a different illusion to the one you are under.

whatever our situation, we all tend to some degree to believe our own press!!!

what you need to do is re-invent yourself, i dont say that lightly, you cant just click your fingers and be that person, you have to first picture in your mind the person you want to be.

take time out over the next week or so (set a date, new moon is good for change), and work towards your new identity by each time filling in one or two pieces of the new jig-saw.

start by making a list of all the aspects you feel are needed for your metamorphosis.

then each night before you go to sleep, play some nice relaxing music, especialy something from one of the many new age shops, my personal favourite is 'tranquility' by david sun.

then lie down and close your eyes, taking yourself off on a trip to a beautiful island which only you can ever go to, this is your island and nobody elses. this is an island where there is no winter, only spring, summer and autumn, imagine the sun shining, it`s the most beautiful day of the year.

lying there on the beach is a big black rubbish bag full of all the negative stuff you have gathered in the physical world, notice the tide is going out, pick up the bag and throw it into the sea, the tide will take it away, watch it melt as it gets washed out to the horizon.

then find a place further up the beach where you can lie and just be at peace, and whilst in this state, use your imagination to attach the things you need to yourself.

picture your life and yourself as you feel you would want it to be.

spend as long as you think you need to in this idilyc place.(20, 30 mins, you may even fall asleep, thats fine).

what you are doing is called an 'affirmation'

do this initially 3 times in a the first week, start to see the changes, then build on what you have achieved and return whenever there is a need to refresh your situation.

i have known this exersize work for myself and scores of my clients over a great number of years.

if you wish to embark on this very pleasant and succesful course, do keep me informed of your progress, also, if you wish to know more, dont hesitate to mail me.

peace and blessings.

Book thread
Posted: 1/20/2007 9:01:41 PM
about 18 years ago i came across a series of 8 books called "the witches", yes, simple title, published at the time by penguin books, a totally compelling story following a ficticious witchfinder, one robert monk, on his travels. from start to finish i found the story totally gripping, the modus operandi used by monk and his associates in order to gain confessions from the poor innocents.
since then, after lending and losing, as one does, i have tried in vain to track these books down, as my friend (who i lived with at the time) and i would love to re-live these adventures again.
does anybody out there in cyberland have any knowledge of the series, if so, can you please mail me with any relevant information as to where i might obtain one or all of the series.

i know it`s a long shot, but i live in hope.

Repetative mistakes
Posted: 1/19/2007 6:51:08 PM
our brain cells are constantly dying and being replaced by new ones, 7 years from now all the brain cells you currently posess will have died and made way for the newer ones.

what does this mean to the average person:

depending on how you`ve lived your life over the 7 year period relates to how you will see things, without going into too much detail, your new brain cells are not unique, in the sense that they carry the same blueprint (dna) as all the brain cells before them.

but they are mimics, not by way of mimicing your thoughts alone, but they are influenced by their surroundings, and the people who inhabit these surroundings.

this is the reason why,in so many cases dogs become like their masters, the superior personality of the human owner inflences the pet.

you move to another area, even if you retain the bulk of your accent, you pick up sayi
ngs from your new environment without even realising!

so you see, it`s what those new brain cells understand, they dont understand what went before, although your memory retains the past.

so if you had a partner say 7 years ago, and you remained true for some time, no cheating of any description, (affairs, feelings, money, two-facedness etc)., and your partner was just the same, then a confidence grows with the advent of those new brain cells, wheras if the reverse is the case, how many times is the physical side of a relationship good, but one or both couples are insincere in other ways, running the partner down amongst family and friends when the partners back is turned, keeping secrets etc.,

you may think you can keep your charade up forever and carry on the same way, which on the face of it seems to suit you fine, but no, it gets out of hand reasonably quick because those new brain cells respond to the negative side and by doing so, make you want to break away and create more deception, its a very interesting psychology and one we cant control.

this is why we have to be totally honest with ourselves, and choose carefully when choosing a partner.

Love makes the world go around... Or

SONNY BLUE, your posts are usually of sound common sense,a lot of times accompanied with a fair slice of harmless scouce wit, and you have not let yourself down this time either!

in my previous post i mentioned the disease meglamania, power and money,so few people are prepared for it!!!

the coin was first devloped 11,000 years ago in jedda, before that time people merely traded goods and services, and were, in the main, satisfied with what they had, you could only keep fresh food for so long, etc.,

money was a big mistake, we`ve been so conditioned to it for survival for a millenium or more, that it would be impossible to revert back to a situation where a different moral code could exist.

who amongst you would put most of your money into a communal pool for the love of mankind (i`m not hinting on communism or any political agenda).

the least likely to do so would be tne ones with the greatest riches, so we have to find that all encompassing love through another route.

Love makes the world go around... Or

for every bad thing that happens somewhere in the world , elsewhere there is something good being done, the two extremes being love and hate, and lots of lesser stuff tipping the scales both ways.

the name for all this, as many pof members are already aware is yin and yang, the name given to us from the eastern philosophies to represent balance, ie., male/female, day/night left /right etc., within this balance there is just a slight tilt towards love, love is documented as yin, as in love/hate, but it is not to be taken literally that yin is love and that yang is hate, it shows up merely in the tables as a balace explanation.

because when you weigh the whole thing up, and you`ve heard all the adages, "out of bad comes good" (which on a philisophical level is totally true), we can only learn through experience.

i know what you must be thinking,"man never learns, he will keep on making the same mistakes he has made from the dawn of civilisation".

but on reflection that is not true. most people try to find balance and understanding towards others, it`s only any nations leaders who deliver the real hate and evil(granted, we have murderers and rapists etc within any society, but thats not the main theme i am getting at here) i`m talking more of the acts that change a society on mass.

the majority of the worlds leaders enter into power with a desease, that disease is known as meglamania, though not apparent in the run up to power, the position of power in many cases blows the minds of the people holding the mantle, and we all know the outcome merely by picking up any newspaper or watching the t.v.

where war becomes more extreme, the more sophisticated weapons of today taking more lives with more speed, the common person becomes more dissulusioned, and in being so, subconciously looks for answers to the madness.

this search, in many cases(be it overnight or longer), brings them to the true essence of love, they start to think in spiritual terms (not to be mistaken for any form of religion),and each individual then contributes in their own way.

dependant on age and circumstance this can manifest in so many different ways, from switching career, to be of use in ellieviating suffering through the medical professions, (when they may have been studying accountancy or law,( a lawsuit means a new suit for a lawyer, gimme gimme gimme!), or going off to one of the poorer countrys to help the sick and starving.

so what this all boils down to is this:

we all have a long way to go, the world we live in is still in its infancy, all the learning from books only makes you look superior in a certain type of light, it doesn`t offer you the ulti mate key, you only get that from the heart, not the mind, though it takes the two to jell in order to map your true progress.

the one thing to strive for is pure unselfish love.

yes, thats what makes the world go round.

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED.

(how many of you are now humming or singing this lovely tune!!!)

there are many lists compiled in newspapers and magazines containing the names of the best looking and sexiest men around in varying catagories, film stars, older men, footballers, the ones who tend to continually top these charts seem to be tom cruise, sean connery & david beckham.

none of these names have so far appeared in this thread, which means one of two things, either the media merely make these things up and these names are no more than average in attraction to the average woman, or that the ladies on pof are turned on by something very different to the rest of the female population!!!
