I went to edit my profile, and now, IF you are a Gold Star member, OR have gathered 5000 points, YOU can decorate your profile with a new background. This will make YOUR profile stand out. Anyone can "preview" it and test what their's might look like. I found the picture background abit to small to really notice, and the colour of the foreground not quite complimentary to my outfit or eyeshadow.. But with a little tweaking, I think its a great idea.

CMonster MY emails DO say, this is a mass email and TWICE it says, "if you do not want to receive mass emails, only YOU can change that on your mail settings' but that hardly gives anyone permission to email me and threaten to 'tie me up and rape me" omg... Thank goodness POF and BigFish responded quickly... and for now, that YOUNG man has no profile.... And thanks to the rest of you, for reading and understanding... helps when you feel burnt. But it does makes one NOT want to host events... We don't get paid, we do it for fun and to meet folks. Just keep that in mind people... thanks for letting me rant.. grrrr, (looking over shoulder) HNP

Iam so surprised at how many people can't or don't read! I have hosted a few events in the past, and have been sending out mass mail event invites. I had received several really mean, nasty and even threatening replies! And, here is the funny part, only THAT person can control if they get email for events. It is at the bottom of the page under the topic "Mail Settings". any ideas? HNP

No one comes along telling me... "You are NOT my real owner... I hate you!" No one tells me I am not driving my car right. No one tells me I am putting the wrong fuel in it. No one come and takes my car away every second weekend. It's MY car... and I love it.. .I want it all the time... Doing things together, or just leaving it parked at home, getting older together, but it's MY car! does that help?

^^^^^^ nope, you pretty much got it ALL wrong... wow, you must be really good at that! I got sick from work, its NOT contagious to my ex, as he had MONO before. I didn't dump him or broadcast it for POF , I was asking for advice... and as time went and the thread progressed, and I became aware of MORE things, then our relationship died a natural death. No, sharing ideas and frustrations is very natural... I guess, for some, judging others harshly, is natural too. Makes YOU want to ponder that, doesn't it? Have a great sunny day folks!

yes, still sick, I have mono, got it when one of my students coughed on me... and yeah, he WAS into a longterm relationship, and YEAH, he was even living with me for 5 weeks, and yeah,,, he ran, didn't talk, just went... sooo, THAT relationship is done... I don't need someone to wait on me, just make sure I have something to eat or drink, once in awhile.. I think I was looking for someone who is/was CARING. and NO, Gerry, I don't need my feet rubbed, lol... but thnx for the offer.

the rules are communicate, listen to each other,, than each person knows when it is time for the next level... I DON"T want to be 'jumped', most woman don't. Most women chose who they was to get closer to, and they usually make that decision in the first few minutes of meeting a guy.. sometimes, they are open to the opportunity of getting to know him better, and change their minds, but usually one's gut first impression is pretty accurate.

I have spoken to him in simple terms, trust me,,, his response "I am doing what I can." I am not trying to make excuses, but I am busy." This is from a guy who lived in my place, rent free for 5 weeks, (1 of when I got sick, and he moved out). As for getting the kissing diesease from kissing someone is a laugh... I got it from one of my female students' who coughed full in my face about 6 weeks ago. NOT from kissing anyone, esp NOT a student, OMG< so the jealousy thing is NOT the issue... (but thnx for your vote of confidence Tayla).... omg... I think it has more to do now, with some cash he borrowed, and is NOT paying back,,, guess I was a target all along... Thanks folks....

I have MONO, got it when a student coughed on me,,, its contagious to teenagers, and the odd person who has never been exposed before (ME)... he was with me for one week whilst I was sick, and will visit on occasion, so he is NOT worried about getting 'it'.. just seems he prefers his own company now.... from phoning and texting several times a day, to almost never... mmmmmmm... I would sooo look after him... tables full of meds, food, time, books, you name. dang,,, he started out so nice

I got sick from one of my students', and thank goodness I have a lot of sick days saved up. My friends have REALLY been there for me, but my current boyfriend (manfriend, cuz he is hardly a boy), is rarely around... I am asking the general population... WHY? I am very independent, if fact, have a tough time asking for help... so hardly the damsel in distress..... Tell me, please..... because if this continues.. this relationship is over... thnx, HNP

My account is pretty clean now, but heard some interesting things from friends as well. I peresonally keep the LAST email, if I have had a series of emails from someone... so emails may be short replies, and have no "kewl' stuff in it, so I save the last, and STILL can see all past correspondence... The interesting part is this! Some people get seriously offended if you delete on of THEIR emails are read/deleted.... what is YOUR opinion? Is that rude, or just silly to think so?

I ponder on how long this thread has lasted, and why we don't have better things to do then ponder in the night? I ponder if the weather will get better before I go nuts,,, need more sunshine for sure I ponder lots of things, but many I can not, and will NOT share on here, lol I still ponder about the dancing pickle , or banana, looks more like a pickle to me.... I ponder if that is a Freudian error on my part

my neighbours love to see what is up in the neighbourhood, tracking who is parking where, who put plastic bags in the compost bin, who has a satellitte dish that is about 2 inches wider than the strata rules allow... too bad their time isn't better used helping feed the homeless etc.. what about YOUR neighbours?
