To the best of my knowledge there is the 30 +, and seniors groups, and nothing in between. I am not familiar with the workings and age demographics of the 30+ club, but I did attend one of their dances a few years ago, and there seemed to be plenty of over 50 folks.

I can understand him wanting to get married, he's gonna need help holding up that house of cards, but why do you want to marry someone that has no financial responsibility. You said that is mortgage is 3 times the value of the house, which means he can't even sell off to get debt free. He can either go bankrupt or spend the rest of his life paying off the house, even if he sells it. It's ok that he makes a good salary, but his money has many obligations,and he probably doesn't have much to live on when these debts are paid, so he probably goes a little deeper every month, just to get by. You like him and he's a nice guy, but he really has to do something about his financial issues before he can be a good life partner.

I think a dance is just a dance. If the people I asked wanted to dance, I would hope they would say yes. If they did not want to dance, I would hope that they would say no. Just a believer in keeping it simple. If any other questions were asked or implied, I am sure a yes or no answer could again apply.

I don't think changing the age on a profile, is going to make us more successful in the dating world. In the real world we don't have our ages stamped on our forehead, so we are, what we look. If you meet somebody that is interested, but they skedaddle when you haul out the birth certificate, what have you lost? They were never interested in you as a person, just in what they thought you represented. It's better to be honest about our age, at least then we know that the date of our birth is not an issue. It's easier to be truthful about our age, than it is to explain, how we finished college, married, had 2 children, and divorced by the age of 15.
