There are plenty of guys like that. Just go down to the gay pride parade & pick one.
Seriously, loved the humor & you have guys pegged.

I'm not sure if I intimidate guys, or if I am just butt ugly

The style of your appearance says a lot about you. You are definatly part of a sub-culture. Nothing wrong w/ that. But, you are limiting the # of guys that will be attracted 2 u.
Personally, I'd hit on you in a minute if I was nearer your age. Maybe it's the cheerleader syndrome-guys just think that a girl as hot as you already has a b/f & a long waiting list, so they think they don't stand a chance.

Everybody tells you to kick him to the curb & then you post back & argue w/ them. You make up excuses for not doing what everybody tells you. You ask if you are naive & stupid. You are not niave. You know exactly what is going on.
So hear is the advice you want to hear:
1) Stay w/ him no matter what
2) Do not contact a lawyer to ensure he takes care of his financial responsibilities.
3) Believe he loves you & only you
4) Believe he's sorry, every time
5) Don't argue w/ me, it's what you want to hear
If any of what I've written sounds the least bit silly, imagine what your post sound like to us.

Guilt by association. He's a low life & you married him (assume you loved him too). Sorry to be so blunt, but you asked.

Isnt it always the women saying, "it's what's on the inside that counts"? Unfortunately, the internet is made for lying. If I met a women under those conditions I would make a quick choice, stay or go. Try to find out why they decieved me or say it's not worth it.

Happens much more than you would think. It's even mentioned in the movie "Heartbreak Ridge'. Enjoy! Consider it a gradual weening process.

I read your post & then read your profile. IMHO:
1) You're very young, things like this are the bad part of growing up.
2) You seem to have self-esteem issues, not that uncommon for someone your age. You just don't know who you are yet.
3) You say your attracted to guys w/ a lot of body adornment. I know this is a fashion fad. A lot of people see this as an insecurity about oneself. In short, you advertise for flaky people & then are surprised when they act like flakes.
4) Take time to know yourself. Interact w/ many different people. Try to see the point of view of people that disagre w/ your outlook. Expand your mind & experience.

Older women, not wanting to date men their age.
Posted:

Of course she can be picky. She has what we want. I have heard many guys say, "anything from 8 to 80, blind, crippled, or crazy (not my saying)". I have never heard a women say anything remotely similar.
Just one of the facts of life.

What is he doing?
Posted:

If he is in the middle east, I would say he wants contact from home-very badly. I've seen a lot of guys like that. Some of us just harden over & some are good w/ the letters they get from friends & love ones. Some crave as much contact from the "real world" as possible.
IMHO

Body size--men this time
Posted:

If you read the profiles on this site, or any other site for that matter, all you see is "walks on the beach, romantic dinners, soul mate,etc.". What they don't say is "must look like Barbie or Ken". I've seen this in bars, offices,& clubs. Most people just never grow up.
To answer your ?, both sexes have problems if we don't look & act 20.

In our culture(native american), in the old days, her brother-in-law would marry her or she would move in w/ a clan elder. He would tell her when it was time to stop grieving & choose another husband. Sounds strange but cures the problem your friend is having.
Suggest to her to either sell the house or rent it out. Whatever she does she can't let the house "that she & her husband shared" fall apart from neglet. This will get her moving in a direction.or @ least thinking about the future. You can't hope to set her life straight but maybe you can nudge it in the right direction.

Hopefully the ***hole is doing time. I looked @ your profile. I think I would be too busy looking @ that pretty face to notice any scars. Ignore the losers.

Sure it's normal, for an immature male that sees you as his babies momma & not as a long term commitment.

BBW'S...WHATS UR OPINION OF US GUYS???
Posted:
10/14/2006 8:29:56 AM
I hate to generalize, but I have found that many BBWs are easier to approach & talk to. There is a thing called "the cheerleader syndrome" which states that most guys unconsously think that the barbie types must already have a b/f, one they cannot compeat w/.

My ex boyfriend wants to invite his new girlfriend to our child's 1st birthday party
Posted:

Since your child is only 1 r old, I'll assume that you haven't been apart that long. For him to even consider bringing a date is rude. He is trying to prove something. Don't sink to his level.

Help What do i do now
Posted:
10/11/2006 2:17:25 PM
Went thru much of the same stuff w/ the 1st wife. There is nothing you can do. It's all up to her. I busted my butt to "work things out". Never did. SHE FINALLY LEFT. I was bummed out @ 1st. Now I know that was the best day in my life. The pain will go away. Nothing will ease it or make it go away. It will just fade. Met so many gr8 ladies since then. 1st wife has offered to leave her present husband to come back to me. I asked her, "Is you crazy"?
Hang in there, be strong for your kids. As much as you hurt, they hury more. Make SURE that they know it's not their fault.

Why Do Men Have to Lie?

Because if he had told you the truth you would not have dated him. Some guys are like that. You must of had your suspisions or you wouldn't have staked out his house. Sorry to be blunt.
