as for the why, try getting him REALLY REALLY drunk (lol or doing E if thats your thing) and try to have a heart to heart.... the only way u will know the truth, is if he tells u. as for how long u are to wait? if u want to be friends then u can wait as long as it takes, but if u want him to start showing some interest again, tell him that u can understand him needing some time, then tell him your going to keep dating while he takes that time... most people are the same, when they see that someone else wants something, they subconsciously start thinking that they should want it to....(lol thats happened to me a couple times. wasnt all that interested in a girl, saw someone else chasing the girl, hahaha started chasing the girl again.)

budy are already making a huge mistake..... u cant want it that bad, she will sence it and blow u off. she may not even be aware of why shes doing it, but she will. take it cool, call her when she gets back from her trip. and about the date, do something fun. amusement parks, dancing, if its nice and hot a trip to the beach ALWAYS goes over well, with the added bonus of seeing her in a bathing suit lol.

lol all these people wanting to be alone..... what does "not your type" mean anyways. i would date a chick even if i new it could never progress beyond a certian level. like when a chick has terrible spending habits. i would never move in with a chick who was a shopaholic or marry one. most times when people move in together their incomes sorta merge, and if my girlfriend blows her money on frivolous things when she has bills to pay, well thats none of my business, LOL shes a big girl, she can do what she wants. if my girlfriend spends OUR money on frivolous things when we have OUR bills to pay im may get a little pissed. so if i recognise this in a girl im dating i know i wont be moving in with her but i dont see any reason to break it off. if things are good let them ride, move on if things go sour. lol "settle for someone that is not your type." of what? of girlfriend, of wife, of good friend with benifits? because someone isnt your type of wife/husband, does that mean u cant enjoy each others company while your lives travel the same road? as long as both people are upfront about their intentions, no one will get hurt.

i exersize regulary to stay in shape but i dont do it to stay healthy. i party every weekend and pollute my body much to much to be worried about being healthy lol. i find slimmer women more attractive and figured it was one of those things that went both ways. and although i may find slimmer chicks more attractive i dont automatically write off the average girls. theres more to love than the perfect body.

writingstar, lol as for your references saying u are "extremely astute in my assessment of character" u probably are. but all this judging only works if u have every piece of information on this person AND they dont know they are being judged..... cause if someone knows thats what u r doing (judging them), then they can change some of their body language, dress differently, stop eating for a couple weeks, ect ect. somethings are harder to hide than others, but people pull it off everyday. like the seriel killer living next door who everyone thinks is the greatest person on the block because they dont have all the information.

lol, people cant help but judge other people by appearances, but whats the piont? most judgements are just educated guesses. good guesses, but your still just guessing. ive been right about my "judgements" on people as often as i have been wrong and i have found that when dealing with people, the best way (for me) is to follow my gut. there are to many things going on below the surface to be able to process it all, like body language. some body language is easy to spot, but people are complicated, and can give off contradictory signals. so for me i trust my gut instink on people and dont really think about all the different things that i might see. sometimes i may really like someone and not know why, other times i really cant stand someone and i may not know why. but experience has taught me to trust the gut lol.

budy count your blessings..... i had something similar happen to me, chick saying she loved me and was leaving. long and short i convinced her to stay and it was the worst thing i have ever done. personally i think any person saying they love u, but are leaving is a red flag for how emotionaly f#cked up they are. sounds like your chick may have to much emotional baggage. so my advice to u is to move on and find an emotionaly stable chick.

so me and my girlfriend started dating about 8 months ago, and things where ok. we went out had a good time. the sex was ok and she was a really nice sweet girl (lol just what i needed after my seperation). i never made any promises to her about us and to date i havent fallen for her. she would ask me about our future together occassionally, and i would always say "ask me in five years" lol. anyways she says she loves me all the time now and i usually just reply that she's great. i talked to her back when she started saying she loved me about how i wouldnt say it unless i really ment it (i may be an ***hole but im up front about it lol), anyways lately i feel really guilty about being with her because i dont love her, i really dont think i will ever lover her, i dont want to make any long term plans with her or move in with her. in short, im really happy at where my life is, work all week party after work, party all weekend on the weekends i dont have my daughter. ive never been happyer lol. but shes talked about movin in together and in the begining mentioned about how she wanted to get married (before she learned how dead set i was about getting remarried. been there got the t-shirt and burned it lol). lol i seem to ramble lol, but to get to the piont she asked me this morning if i wanted to still be with her and i responded most days.... so she asked what that ment.... so i just cut through all the bull shit and told her straight up that i didnt love her and i really didnt see a future in when i would love her how she desereved. so the long and short of it is that she doesnt want to break up, even though she knows how i feel. shes fine seeing me 2 or 3 days a week and not hearing from me when i go parting for 2 or 3 days lol. i dont really want to break up with her cause its a convenient relationship, and i dont really want to devastate her. yet it just seems a little wrong even though i have been completely honest with her. whats your thoughts on this POF?
