This holiday season I found myself thinking of holidays of old, times when I was young and the excitement of the packages were the only worries i had. it was a gentiler time because there was less for more. We were a poor family but we were happy. Not having money for gifts meant we had to use our imagination to make things. I'm sure many of you have the same memories, not very many of the people back then were rich. As I strolled through the malls anD shopping centers this holiday season I witnessed greed, merchants using every tactic to sell merchandise. The sales at some stores had people camping out to get the bargins. Then state they were selling the items on E bay for a profit. It reminded me of the first panic buying I can remeber, the Cabage Patch Kids. Stores inflated the proces to take advantage of those whose children just had to have them. What ever happen to common decency? My holiday season was spent visiting family. I had not ventured to my home town in 10 years. When I saw my family I was bearly recoginzed by them, I look older and heavier. I am the youngest and everyone else has bad health so this may be my last opportunity to see them alive. I wondered if my health might turn like theirs has. I resolved to lose weight after the holidays. I also noted those who were missing. Two brother, a father and mother, many school mates, and military friends. I also miss all of them as well as those on my wifes side of the family, a sister and brother in law an Uncle. I had almost given up on the joy of Christmas until Christmas Eve when children from one of the local churches stop by my work at just after midnight with a tray of goodies and to thank me for having to work on Christmas Eve so others could be with their families. It was a reminder of what Christmas should be: a TIME FOR CARING ABOUT OTHERS, GIVING WITHOUT RETURN, AND GIVING THANKS THAT WE HAVE OUT HEALTH, AND OUR FRIENDS, AND OUR FAMILY AND MOST OF ALL KNOWING THAT GOD IS LOOKING OUT FOR US ALL. In the modern era sex on the first date seems to be what most mena nd alot of women want. if a man and a women find each other appealing enough to want to have sex what difference whan they have it. When I was a young man it was not a common thing to meet and have sex the first night, but that didn't stop me from trying. Many times the sex consisted of me using just my hands to make her happy but she never stopped coming back for more. unfornately for women the old double standard still applies in the minds of men, it's ok for me but not you, if you will let me how many others have you let do it. unless there is an STD problem, just how the hell are men going to know who's been therwe brfore them if you don't tell. if they have to ask then you can bet they won't respect you in the morning. I can only surmise that your up bringing wasn't a happy one. having children , even in this crazy world , is the most joyous of lifes wonders. While it is a crazy world we still the impoverished of the world raising children under the worse of condition, yet they still do it. I have been fortunate in having 4 children while not all of them turned out like I would have wanted ( I wasn't there for three of them) I still love them and I hope that someday you will change your mond and embrace having your own children.

We all make choices in our lives, you chose to go where they serve booze. what did you really expect it wouold mellow out everyone. Man booze just brings out the worst in us because we use it as crutch to help us cope with those things we haven't the courage to face. If you wanted to have a good time on the holiday maybe you should have volunteered to help with a community dinner, or at a homeless shelter. Seeing those people that have less than we are blessed with and how they survive might have shown you your life isn't so bad. I learned many years ago, thanksgiving isn't about me it's about giving to others, If you have no oney you have time, if you have no time then give encouragement. I know this may sound unrealistic in todays world , but it has to start somewhere and the longest journey starts with but one step.

How true this is, I did the same type search and got back zilch. I am amazed by the replies condemming the idea. i am a man in my 50's and have been in a sexless marriage for 10 yrs, I miss it. My wife no longer wants or has any desire to have sex, I have asked her to go to counseling and she refuses, is it fair that i should now also suffer.
