I met a man on another site that called himself Dean. After he had stayed in my house for one night I came to my senses and asked for ID. He could not produce his driving license as it was away having points put on it, or so he said. He showed be a credit card....in a different name..his real name...nothing at all like Dean! He claimed to have changed his name by deed poll because of bad memories. Two months later I actually found out that he was married with two young children. I have learnt a hard lesson. This dating site and forum have been a real eye opener to the lies and dirty tricks that people can play on each other.

If I had been seeing someone that I really liked for just two or three dates never mind on a regular basis and they had not made any advances of the sexual nature I would be starting to worry that there was a problem ! I would then have to make the first move , in a lady like way of course,to see how he reacted. No reaction and the matter would need direct confrontation I am afraid. Lifes too short to waste time on relationships that have no future unless of course the lack of intimacy doesnt bother you.

why would anyone use someone else's photo ? Posted: 3/18/2007 2:05:18 AM
A few weeks ago I was in formed by a kind gentlemen on here that my photographs appeared on another profile. I was horrified to find out that a woman in Canada was using all of my profle photographs , not only that...almost my entire profile right down to my star sign. I would like to compliment the administrators of this site for the immediate action in deleting this person But I just dont understand why anyone would want to pass them selves off as someone they are not . It just seems to be a complete waste of time . I feel sorry for the numerous men who had her on their favourites list and hope that if I ever get to Canada I dont bump into anyone that she has offended or lead on using my face !!!!!

As someone who believes that looks arent everything, I have been on a couple of dates without seeing a photo but only because I felt I knew them well enough from telephone chats. My last encounter has taut me a big lesson though !! His profile photo was of 2 red Ferraris ! We met in September and he bombarded me with texts and phone calls telling me he was missing me, he loved me etc.......after three months I found not only had he been married for 18 years but he had two young children and I never did see the Ferrari ! Now I know why there was no photo on here or on the other sites I found that Ferrari photo on. No more no photo dates for me !!!!
