When Jane initially met Tarzan in the jungle,
she was attracted to him, and during her questions
about his life, she asked him how he had sex?

'Tarzan not know sex' he replied.

Jane explained to him what sex was.

Tarzan said 'Oh ....Tarzan use knot hole in trunk of tree.'

Horrified Jane said, 'Tarzan you have it all wrong, but I will show you how to do it properly.' She took off her clothing and laid down on the ground. '

Here' she said, pointing to her privates, 'you must put it in here.'

Tarzan removed his loin cloth, showing Jane his considerable manhood,
stepped closer to her and kicked her in the crotch!

Jane rolled around in agony for what seemed like an eternity.

Eventually she managed to gasp for air and screamed, 'What did you do that for?'

Tarzan replied, 'check for squirrel.'

Philosopher Soccer...

"Well, there may be no score, but there's certainly no lack of excitement here, as you can see, Nietzsche has just been booked for arguing with the referee. He accused Confucius of having no free will, and Confucius he say name go in book! This is Nietszche's third booking in four games."

"Archimedes out to Socrates, Socrates back to Archimedes, Archimedes out to Heraclitus, he beats Hegel, Heraclitus gives a little flick, here comes Socrates, Socrates is there...It is in! The Greeks are going mad... the Greeks are going mad! Socrates scores off a beautiful pass from Archimedes---- and The Germans are disputing it! Hegel is arguing that the reality is merely an a priori adjunct of non-naturalistic ethics, Kant via the categorical imperative is holding that ontologically it exists only in the imagination, and Marx is claiming it was offside! But Confucius blows the final whistle...it's all over!"

Ripple - The Grateful Dead

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung,
Would you hear my voice come thru the music,
Would you hold it near as it were your own?

It’s a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken,
Perhaps they’re better left unsung.
I don’t know, don’t really care
Let there be songs to fill the air.

Ripple in still water,
When there is no pebble tossed,
Nor wind to blow.

Reach out your hand if your cup be empty,
If your cup is full may it be again,
Let it be known there is a fountain,
That was not made by the hands of men.

There is a road, no simple highway,
Between the dawn and the dark of night,
And if you go no one may follow,
That path is for your steps alone.

Ripple in still water,
When there is no pebble tossed,
Nor wind to blow.

But if you fall you fall alone,
If you should stand then who’s to guide you?
If I knew the way I would take you home.

La dee da da da, la da da da da, da da da, da da, da da da da da
La da da da, la da da, da da, la da da da, la da, da da.

Ikea Catalogue 2007
Posted: 10/18/2006 9:03:21 PM
The story I heard was that a disgruntled employee who was in charge of photos for the catalogue did that just before he was either fired...or quit. By the time they caught it the catalogues were already printed.

The world generally works on the 'survival of the fittest' principle, so eventually all these losers will be weeded out... line em up, shoot em, ship em out... whatever. Just get rid of them. Too much money is wasted on programs to help these people. I think the money should be used to clean my streets, plow my walkways in the winter, city beautification programs. Let the losers rot in the streets.

YA, and while we are at it, lets round up all the physically and mentally handicapped...and the homeless...oh yea and all the old people too...damned burdens on society. I need my street cleaned and my damned walkway plowed.

The greatest 500th Goal ever...
Posted: 10/16/2006 1:25:40 PM
Geez...I make one small correction in as polite a manner as possible and I get told to...

Settle down

and to

Step away from the pipe!

Anyway, like I implied in my original post...I didnt mean any harm...it was just a small correction. If anyone took it the wrong way...I apologize.

Anyway, back to the point of the thread...considering there have been only 35 players in NHL history to accomplish the feat...it would certainly be interesting to see the circumstances around each one. Sundin's was great for sure. Gretzky's was on an open net...but considering he did it in his 575th career game...

I would love to know the circumstances around Beliveau's or Lafleur's or Esposito's

The greatest 500th Goal ever...
Posted: 10/16/2006 11:08:44 AM
This is meant as a small correction, not a flame...so dont take it the wrong way, but Ryan Smyth doesnt have anywhere close to 500 goals yet. He is about halfway (234 NHL career goals). Great player though.

The Who

This was my 4th time seeing them, and to be honest...it's pretty much over. Every time I had seen them in the past, I left with my jaw on the ground. They lost way too much when Entwhistle died...the sound just isn't the same anymore.
