I was a student at the Jordan Energy Institute. in 1979, 80 We were studying alternative energy designs, learning the important laws and such governing energy in nature, thermodynamics, Entropy, physics, R values, heat load calculations. There were endless articles in the paper about advances, and our work was perceived to be the earths salvation. then OPEC lowered the prices dramticaly, and suddenly the well went dry. The Us government "pork barreled" all our work, closed all subsidies, eliminated the energy tax credit, and there we were, back to geeks again. Try to find work with my 1981 resume. No tank drivers needed {army} who cares about energy, gas is cheap They are doing it again. Its contrived to keep us using the filthy shit. And corn based Ethanol? HA HA HA if you thnk thats gonna help us your way wrong! it takes 1 gallon of gasoline to make 1.25 gallons of ethanol, and then get this, its efficiency is so low it takes 1.5 gallons of ethanol to produce the work of 1 gallon of gas! METHANE. its the real and true way to save emissions. anything that ever lived can be made into methane, not just the corn, but the whole thing to the roots. you can grind up your house and make methane. But why arent we using it? BIG OIL cannot regulate price nor supply. until they can it will never be used. Methane, being harder to make portable, is hugely suitable for staionary applications, like producing electricity, and could easily make low cost electricity, to run our electric cars. Why dont we have Electric public transport is beyond me. but hey, ya know I am not in charge here. YET. In the Immortal words of the Joker, "this town needs an Enema"

my comments are just a numerical fact. What it amounts to is we have a white female governor. And what a peice of work. She has run Michigan under the ground, and then ran a disk over us. She is a Canadian, with a degree from Berkeley, ya think she is a right wing extremist? Her idea to save michigan is to make methane out of canadian garbage. I know one real quick way to make methane out of canadian garbage. Our state is led by a democrat, and is becoming a wasteland every day. Wait until you get one leading america. Canada has laws preventing building any landfills and the ones they have are full, leaving only michigan, the great landfill to take every toxic polluted shit covered rag they can make. And whats more our landfills charge 20 percent of what indiana, ohio, and pennsylvania charge. WHY Why is it even legal to import foreign garbage? If we fill Saginaw bay with Canadian Garbage this state will truly look like a tombstone.

Granholm was elected almost entirely by promising fatter welfare checks. At the risk of being labeled a racist, the fact is the Metro Detroit black women elected her. As a population group, black females in the metro detroit {flint, saginaw, etc, area} outnumber all other population groups in all of michigan. If they decide on Obama, well he will take michigan hands down. In fact, if black females were able to get anything up to ballot, they could pass it regardless of if it makes sense or not, its simple math. And its not going to change, that is why this went from a republican state to a democratic state.

Nothing deters crime more then a known gun owners presence. Sadly, the police, our paid gun owners are also required to wear uniforms and badges all the time, so they are easy for the crooks to spot. Also they are required to arrive in clown cars with lights and stickers all over them, further helping the criminals spot and elude our gun carriers. And then they are bound by so many civil rights laws, they are basically already in handcuffs when they arrive 15 minutes after the crime. As was pointed out, there would be no more 10-20 murders by one or two people, they would be mowed down before they got to number 3. The idea of grandma carrying a cannon, will prevent countless crimes against them. would you break into a gun owners house? would you pull a gun on a crowd of gun owners? would you take a knife to a gun fight? what is the value of baseball bat vs Smith and Wesson? if your gonna die by a criminals hand, and you have 3 choices, here they are.. beaten to death with lawn rake stabbed to death with kitchen knife shot in head with .45 are you sure your gonna want the guns removed from the honest men and women? I say lets get more of them. the biggest voice against legal gun ownership would have to be those with criminal intent, bleeding hearts with no sense of reality, or crooked governments with eyes on even more control over the population. All these have one cure, and a lawn rake or kitchen knife is not it.

we have had economy cars for over 50 yrs available. People are too proud to be seen in them. Too "cool" to ride a bike. Only ride a motorcycle that makes a fashion statement, or pretense. We have to be in a top of the line guzzling barge to be socially acceptable. Only geeks and nerds ride in economy cars, havent you seen your commercials? GO back to the TV!!! thats in your society. however this society probably hasnt long left. Soon scrap metal will be so high thieves will loot your homes for metal. you wont have to worry about your car, gas will be too high to drive it, and the thieves will cut it up in your own driveway. Food will become so expensive houses will be robbed at gunpoint for the food in the fridge and cupboards. Of all the things people need to survive, a simple handgun may soon be number one.

We are being led bythe nose down the wrong path. Using corn to make fuel is the dumbest thingI ever heard of, And i do have some degree of knowledge, I was in the Jordan Energy Institute during the last crisis, until OPEC lowered the price. within 6 months all conservation measures were repealed, and all programs cancelled including funding for my college, hence, no degree on my wall. The production of corn is highly ineffecient to begin with, from the amonia, to the fertilizers, fuel to plant, till harvest, dry, etc, its all costly. the Net Gain is 1.25 gallons of corn fuel for every gallon of gas spent to produce it. then you have to calculate the efficiency of the new fuel is less then gas, so the grim reality is we are paying the oil companies, driving food prices out of sight, and in the end result we gain basically nothing. Has your government told you this? doubtful How many people will go hungry after the price of corn quadruples {Again} this year. Methane Gas is the way to go. You can use anything organic to make it, and OPEC cannot control it. That is why it will never be used, big Oil cannot regulate supply or price. We can put a man on the moon, but if we dont feed him and send water and air regularly he will die. Hence we know man cannot live on the moon. However 10 acres of land in africa can support 1 man. Not 2. Now there is 5, they are beyond capacity, nature is starting to adjust the population. So we rush in and feed them. they breed more, now there is 12 , more food fast! Call me a heartless demon, but the fact is even in rabbits feeding them is bad for the species, they overproduce, and disease and starvation hurts them worse then natural selection. We cannot continue handing out food like we do, populations on the worst soil on the planet is rising, due to our ignorance. Its sad when a baby bird falls from the nest, but the reality is others will live. If you think these are bad times, you havent seen ANYTHING YET. Give the american food supply chain a big jerk, just once and you will see riots and mans inhumane actions at their finest. And its coming. Any day now.

I cant imagine this, let alone $2000 a month in bills when he says his house is paid for. Mostly i feel sorry for the kids, especially the teens, how can they have any time alone, to figure things out in life for themselves. I figure that woman is running the central intelligence and they just do as told. Culture shock for them will be rough, i promise. Probably ask all the kids the same question they all provide the same answer word for word, right off her tongue. Sick.

take a cold potatoe leftover, slice it thin, put it on a slice of bread, with wayo or ranch dressing, a slice of swiss cheese, and if you have a thin sliced cucumber, add that, salt it and toss on the top slice. As for Peanut Butter, my great Grandfather swore it was the best thing you could eat, and he put it on everything, cukes, pancakes, even tried it in soups. He lived to 99 yrs, how wrong could he be?

We placed 112,000 workers in new jobs across Michigan and trained many of them for new careers.} What many do not know is this is the welfare-to-work deal, she took 112,000 welfare recipeints and trained them for jobs in the government. SO instead of paying them 4500 a year in welfare benefits, she spent millions training them to do jobs she made up directly on our budget. This training, cost of labor, cost of benefits, PLUS the many new Supervisors, along with requisite governmental Positions to run these new jobs is costing Michigan BILLIONS, for jobs that didnt exist, yet we got along fine before. Granwhore. A Canadian liberal, educated at Berkeley, PLEASE find the nearest bridge, and jump. Heres a great IDEA! Lets TAX CANADIAN GARBAGE! Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana. Illinois, All charge $12-15 per ton of out state Garbage, yet Michigan is taking in ALL of Ontarios garbage, with its environmental hazardous waste hidden inside, and its less then $2 per ton. I say we could charge an $8 excise tax per ton of canadian trash and still be the cheapest. Canada I dont care where you dump your trash, but this is NOT your dump! Canada has laws against exactly what they pay us to do. I say go into your pristine wilderness, dig some holes and POLLUTE YOUR OWN DAMN LAND. IF the International trade feild was level in all Aspects, we would have no problems competing, BUT its not. Almost every country has vastly less tax base, and face virtually none of the taxes US companies face. I say we make every county that imports here PAY EQUAL TAX, AND DUPLICATE THEIR IMPORT POLICIES TO THE LETTER.

I am 6ft 1 in and 285 lbs. I have a size 56 chest, and I terrify people. Its not unusual to see people cross the street to not confront me, and i get a giggle out of it. I have lately been wearing my old black leather, black jeans, and a black cap, and that adds to the excitement. whats funny is i am not a violent person, never have been, unless provoked. You can hit me all you want, I only have to hit you once. but size is a stereotype, and there is no escaping it. Any idea how rare 6ft women are?

I have read untold profiles on here from countless nice, well meaning women from all walks of life. It seems to me that the majority of them may have "dreamed up" a super kind of guy, Mr Right. The nice guy, the perennial quarterback, Mr Higher Educated, mild mannered, has plenty of free time to devote to only you. Mr Politeness man, with a 6 figure income, and endless resources, able to drop everything and explore yet another south pacific island. I wont say this guy doesnt exist, but seriously, what are the odds? 32 football teams, each has about 3 quarterbacks, that leaves all of you gals chasing 96 men, more then half of them married. And the 6 figure income? Well michigan is on its ass bad, Still I am sure there are some CEOs laying around, despite most companies ditching all but essential personnel, so it could happen. Higher education? They are fleeing this state as soon as they graduate. I am a michigan native, son of michigan natives. Same as most of the women here. I, nor anyone here have any ties to royalty, nor fame and fortune. I am just the guy next door. The same as most of the women here. Its possible, that many of you have got such high expectations, you may end up alone. I have seen it time after time... I will not settle! Fine, live alone. By demanding such lofty expectations, your also screaming at the rest of us that you yourself are not only perfect, but above all women to the point that you and you alone can decide which millionaire superhero you will toddle off into the night with. I seriouisly think that if your dream man is Brad Pitt, or Brett Favre, you may as well fold up your profile now. This is and always be a working mans state, and we are working men. Perhaps the Madonna image will work for you in California. I too have lofty dreams, One of them is a woman that is happy to live in Rome as the Romans do, not as Caesar. I want to set and watch my novel play on the Imax. I want to see the world as much as the next man, it just hasnt gone my way yet. Either way, good luck.

Some people seem to be on crack here. this is about the worst place on earth to end up. Lowest wages, jobs leaving at 1000 a week, unemployment is off the charts, if you factor in all the ones that arent on the roster, because if your not drawing unemployment your considered to be working. It costs as much here to rent comercial space as it does in every big town, the only thing missing is money. I run a small businesss here and this is the last place on earth i would ever start over in. Some days i get 20-30 people in my shop and none can afford a used bicycle. This economy is so shot you just cant beleive it, till you ask people. According to Michigan Government, average wage in Muskegon is 19.50 per hour. Go there. TRY to find a job. ANY job. There arent any. And if you do its 6.25 per hour, and would you like fries with that shake? This town sucks so bad the drug dealers are driving 20 yr old clunkers. Rent of a house should be between 1/4 and 1/3 of your income. Well if you work here you cant live here, cause rent here is beyond stupid. Oh sure its a nice place to visit. that where it ends. the people are all mean and rude, everyone marches around like they have a cob up their azz. I sometimes leave here on business and its like night and day, people elsewhere are usually happy freindly and nice. That ends on ther border. Now Ford has posted a multi billion dollar loss.. Expect more jobs to head to mexico ASAP. pretty sad when the GNP of michigan will soon be soybeans. I could go on all day about this hell hole. all you gotta do is come on in and give the place a try... I75 is full going south 24-7 Going north? your not gonna see any Uhauls i tell ya.

For one, i do not think there is sufficient places in the cities for dogs to crap AND kids to play. Dogs lose. the social and mental health to inner city children provided by clean safe play areas over rides any and all objections from dog owners. Keep your crap machine off the play areas and parks. 2 kids are scared of dogs, and for good reason. generally when you see a snarling barking animal straining its leash, odds are its a pit bull, in my experience. 3 urban pit bull owners love to chain them to within a foot or 2 of the legal sidewalk. this is done to scare people, they will say, but the truth is the dog is there to bite anyone it wants to, that happens to walk up for any reason, and warn the drug using owner to hide his stuff. 4 people are training these dogs this behaviour. they think its fun to torment the pup, until it attacks objects or actions on sight, regardless of whom may imitate those actions, in play or bad intent. 5 its the owners faults entirely, when a dog bites someone. Not the dog. Sadly the dog loses, but the owners need to begin losing too, jail and fines, and hefty civil suits. 6 from my knowledge this breed was bred to fight, and has no real place as a pet. 7 the only bad bite i ever got was from a german shepard, but i am sure that as many pit bulls have stood snarling on the chains at me it would be a vastly different score. this breed is in my experience, is the most aggressive of them all, most breeds will simply go to the end of the chain and bark at you. A pit bull not only puts his full force into trying to get you, he will jerk the chain trying to break it. 8 not all of them are mean. i have walked up and petted bulls before, including one being "hate Trained" by another race of person, end of quote. So in all i can see some merits on both sides here, but the fact is they {nor any breed} do not belong in close quarters in the cities.

You will love this. I know this gal, been single for a couple months, asks me to help her find the vin number on her motorhome. No trouble, i will ride out with her and look for it. well on the way, I bought her dinner and paid for gas. Well, rght after getting gas, she shuts her car off at a green light, takes the key out, and starts looking for something in the glove box. Well this of course draws the police, who run the usual routine, and we leave. So we get there, and i show her the vin tag. She glancesd at it, and says ok i will remember that... a 17 digit alphanumeric code!! then she looks in the bathroom, and locks it. 3 min later she says she has to pee, and the door is locked! no way to unlock it, and she wont go outside at all. So she pisses her pants. Then she wants her licence, and cant find it. She goes into a shreiking tirade, claiming i stole her licence. within 10 minutes she has involved all the neighboring units, and they are all walking around with flashlights on the ground, which i may add she never had been, and looking at me like I was Hitler, or something. Finally after 1/2 an hour of people searching the same 100 ft square of grass, i told the one gal, hey your not gonna find it. She looks at me and says "well, how do you know" So i said look, this gal is crazier then a shithouse rat, she must have skipped the prozac or something. Well that mad her mad, and she stormed off lookiong some more. I told her uncle, look this is beyond insane, i need a parachute here. finally i had seen enough, she was going door to door at 11 at night trying get people to help her find it. I left on foot. 30 miles from my shop. fog so thick you cant see 100 ft. No moon, pitch black. I am wearing all black, on a county road with no shoulder. I made it to a county intersection with an overhead light. No signal on my cell phone, no change for the payphone that was there. I tried to hitchike out of there, But hey, i am 6'1" 300+ lbs wearing black with long hair, I dont blame them for not stopping, most were women alone going to work. The reality is I spent 9 hours in the misty fog at that corner, no coat in the mid 50s. So today she shows up and says the licence was in her car and tries to apologize. I told her to get the hell out and i never want to see her face again ever. And you gals wonder why I am single? what the hell was that?

ever actually listen to the song "Half Breed" by Cher? Try it. i think everyone should. I sure dont hate blacks over any color, lots of my good freinds are black. But I am a racist. YOU are a racist. We all strive for thge success of our race, its in our DNA. This drive is what made us evolve into different races to begin with. If you bleeding and need help fast every man will run to his own kind, and color. Its a proven fact. I was exposed to racial intergration, and its effects on the kids pretty young. I went to a shelter for a while at 14. There were 2 kids there. They seemed nice. BUT the father was as black as black man can get. the mother was Oriental, pure blood. These poor kids were ugly as sin, and neither parent, nor family memebr wanted them. The parents seperated, and they were a embarrasment to both families. Hence the Half Breed song. You need to know, that no matter how thick skinned people claim to be, we are ALL racists, and its a fact. Those kids will never ever be fully accepted in either family, and when you eventually have 2 or 3 kids of mixed races, you will have successfully voted yourself out of the tribe. Its just how life works.I didnt make the rules. Its not fair. Sorry. Feel free to try to dispute this.

My dad was a dead ringer for Elvis Presley in his younger years. Everyone called him Elvis, and after seeing his younger pictures I know why, they were right. He drove a 32 2dr Ford hotrod, with no hood or fenders, and a V8 oldsmobile engine. Pretty much the envy of the town. To this day, and i am being totally serious if I meet any local gals i have to ask where their mother was in the 50s and 60s. Suffice to say, my dad had them all, as near as i can figure. I know of at least 1 half sister here, and I am sure there are more.

Laugh and enjoy your good fortune. I was born with what is called chalk teeth. not enough enamel. They never had a chance. Let alone the light green patina all the way through them. Even being a GM Executive, my dads plan wasnt any help. 12 yrs with major medical wouldnt fix them either, all I can do is wait until they get so bad I cant eat, and try to buy dentures. My wisdom teeth have the lower jaw neves run right through them, and its going to take surgery to the tune of 3500, just to pull them alone. No insurance will cover this, then or now. My dad had dentures at 18. And no, i havent smiled in 30 yrs. So now since crackheads are losing their teeth i suppose all of you think I am one? Think all you like. Perhaps I can arrange some dental work for you too... Regardless of your holier then thou attitudes, millions of americans have inferior dental plans, if any, and around my age will be faced with dentures, regardless of wether they can afford them or not. The last estimate i had for complete dentures, oral surgery, {hospital, not the dentist} and all was near 10,000 dollars. I am sorry, I dont have 10k to throw away, just to make you happy to see me. If thats what it take, well get this. I dont want to see you.

Its however just not true. for one thing, everly item sold in walmart is the absolute lowest quality, end of model run, discontinued, and out of date peice of junk they can scrounge up. 3 yr old technology almost 100 percent, and primarily all the bottom of the line merchandise. If you dont think so, well i know why. your not shopping at any qaulity stores. your so used to Kmart /walmart level chinese trinket trash, that to you a shiny new $10 toaster from walmart, made from stamped tin is a better buy then a $39 quality made product. An old adage comes to mind "The sweet sensation of low price is short lived, leaving only the lasting bitter taste of poor quality". And as for the lies they all say about promoting jobs, hey i walk through the walmart here sometimes. I see the man that used to own a pet store, stocking shelves. I see employees from the local hardware, sweeping, and scrubbing floors. I see no happy persons workng here. In fact the total lack of a future at walmart is a concrete fact of life. When Walmart comes in, the town closes down. We used to have a busy productive downtown. Now we have empty stores, tattoo parlors, resale shops, and cellphone dealers. you have to drive 2 miles to shop for anything, since all the downtown shops are gone. Oh yes they hired people. sad desperate people that lost their businesses and have no choice but to kneel before the tyrant. All the profit leaves town. Oh sure they pay about what it takes to live, so at the end of the week, your tired, broke, and waiting for the next week to repeat itself. the result is this and all the rest of the town are slowly bleeding to death. Walmart and the likes are taking more then they put in, and when the money is gone, they will be too.

IF he spent 450 at a restaraunt, you can darn well bet he didnt eat no 450 worth of food. AND i am betting he probably made that place more that one day then the last 10 days. am sure some waiter being paid 28 per hour served him food prepared by a chef making 65 per hour. the table was cleaned off by a dishwasher making minimum, but THEY DONT GET THE TIP! the fancy suited big paycheck at the door folds the cash and hollers foul if after spending $450 and eating $12 worth of food someone doesnt hand him a wad of cash for nothing. I wouldnt tip anyone in a place that hands me a $450 bill for anything short of 2 bottles of wine, 2 lobsters, and a fine whore for the night. give me a break.

baste your bird once. place it inside a brown grocery sack. put another brown sack over the end, making a paper box. set it in the pan, and cook it at 400 degrees for standard times per weight. the paper bag will not burn. it will however keep the bird inside very moist and tender, which until you get the courage to try this method on, you will never appreciate. if your skeptical about cooking advice from a single male, well try it with small bags on a chicken. keep the heat below 450, about 425 area max. it will indeed change your way of cooking these fowl beasties.

i sure wish i knew. nothing makes me happy anymore. was never happy even as a kid. relationship with the boys mom turned into a disaster, that made things go down worse and hell thats nearly 15 yrs ago. Its not a simple thing ya know. i am alone in a crowded room. i have a couple physical problems, due to my PBB poisoning, and other factors, my teeth were never any good, and to make matters worse, they have a green tint to them, have since birth. when i was 14 i contracted Bells Palsy, which wiped out the whole side of my face, i couldnt use any muscles on the side of my face for 2 yrs. recovery never was complete, and my eye, and the side of my face have a sag to them. and since the eyes are the window to the soul, my ugly eyes make me a bad person. a clean white smile i dont have so i am even more undesirable. I repaired heavy equipment for 20 yrs, and no woman wants to be around a mechanic. so i am resolved to live alone, i have given up on delusions of grandeur yrs ago. now if i make enough to pay my bills i am as happy as i am gonna get.

i generalized mostly using daytime tv too exclusively. I dont own a TV. i gave mine to my son 2 yrs ago. Spent a few days down there and wasnt a lot to do but watch tv. 30 below zero outside, well what is the plan anyway? seems a lot of the programming was tailored under same mold as soaps. mostly i watched history and educational shows until 3 or so, then its boob tube time.

I have to say, its not been a good one. daytime soap shows portray rich influential movie star persons, living a high life of whatever they wish to do, money no object. no fat men or women, no poor, the car never breaks down. the couples shown never have any more cares in the world save that of who to screw next. No bills. no manual labor, in fact, the majority of them are never actually shown to have a career. this is what women are being trained to want by the media. Toss in the occaisional odd comment, such as.. The eyes are the window to the soul.. Cleanliness is next to godliness... a nice smile is a sign of a nice person. SO a man who primps himself hourly, has pretty eyes, and nice teeth is the better man, always. SHIT this person could be an axe murderer for all you know. ALL of the above are made to make you think that looks are everything, Love at first sight is real love. bullsh*t. 50 percent divorce rate. people should be looking for the right person, not the right body. Well you cant blame the gals for doing what they are shown and told. nor the men either for that matter, as dumping a nice gal for a prettier one is socially acceptable. I dont know what will be the future of marriage in america, it dont look good. I think maybe a 15 year minimum on a marriage licence would be a good plan. something has to be done, as the musical bedrooms going on today is creating generations of children with no family life, no experiences that would be conducive to healthy living. interesting, that not only is man the only animal that ruins its own house, ruins its own water, is now hell bent on ruining its children.

If you think depleted uranium shells burst on impact, and start some sort of nuclear reaction, or radioactive contamination, your either mis informed or worse. Depleted Uranium shells are simply the hardest metal known to man to use as a bullet. its capable of incredible penetration. it SIMPLY DOES NOT DISENTEGRATE, leaving a volitile cloud of nuclear fallout. no idea where you people get his dumb stuff from. although you have the freedom of speech, please do not attempt to educate people with totally false statements. you can carry depleted uranium bullets in your belt. mass quantities is a different matter. but the fact is most of them are used in tank shells, and can you imagine anyone firing a tank round that busts up into a powder on impact? sorry.

For the first time in 50 years american beef production is profitable. i dont care if we ever reopen the canadian beef, go on build your slaughterhouses, ours are working at capacity with american beef. am sure lots of nations will be happy to buy your unprocessed soft lumber, for paper stock, of course, that will be less shipping costs. heres a better plan. find out where your diseased animals are, and dispose of them same as we would. then we can go back to american farmers making slave wages again.
