she and i talked about how we felt in regards to exclusivity. as for number of dates, we'd been on Zero dates so far. and like i told her and she told me, if i go anywhere with a woman even as far as a kiss on a date and i feel something for her i drop all other prospects. since i had had Zero dates with both women and there was one i felt more close to but shes the woman in question and is an hour away from me, and the other girl was available to go out even just as two friends to see a movie

TO not talk to a guy because he went out with someone else
Posted: 11/10/2009 12:50:14 AM
I have a problem, There are two women I met on here, one back in august, and one recently. well the one i met in august and I have become friends, nothign more than that but havent met in person. We tried a few times but things came up. Well tonight i was suposed to have a friendly movie with said woman but she blew me off.
Now the women i was talking to recently fell for me very hard very fast, and I'll admit I had plenty of feelings for her myself too but due to previous failures with women because of this I tried to keep them in check. Tonight she tells me she cant see me as the one for her anymore because of how we're not in the same place emotionally or physically in relation to it and nothing i tell her about how I feel helped in changing things. She said she herself turned down 3 dates because of me, and I seemed quite down that this woman blew me off tonight so i must be not in the same place as her... What could, can, should, i do, here I have little experience but I tell you I've been unable to get this woman off my mind since meeting her.

STD/Mutual Testing Questions
Posted: 11/4/2009 12:21:08 AM
I dont know how socially acceptable it is but i can say if my girlfriend ever asked me to get tested with her i'd humor her, At this point virginity means that theres a 99.9% chance i'm 100% clean but i'd get one just for her even if she knew i was virgin and said i didnt have to because of it

Strange Halloween Costumes you've worn
Posted: 10/29/2009 1:34:50 AM
Greetings folks, I'm a bit excentric when it comes to halloween as can be evidenced by mt 2008 Aperture Science Weighted Companion Cube Costume.
or my
2007 Fermata costume...

Or going way way back to 1997 the year i dressed as a gameboy.

So my question to you is whats the weirdest thing you've been for Halloween in life..

Ps for the non musical among us a Fermata is a musical symbol (arch with a dot under it) which means Hold this note until further instructions. I thought (wrongly) that there might be some musical nerd girl in the crowd who'd run over and hold me until further instructions.
Sadly i got the old "What are you?"
or the list of Are you a's
Fender
Wheel Well
Magnet
Bass Clef (Props for closeness)
Semi Colon ?? WTF ?? Who would dress as a semi colon
Pirate
Napoleon

Or even the "Hey its that guy again!" comments

Beside the point but to quote you
PS. Oh. And I believe strong men can take their tea straight up - without the honey.

Does taking ones tea with LOCAL HONEY for the prevention of Seasonal Pollen Allergy symptoms (Honey being made from pollens aclimates your body to said pollens like a vaccine does to your body for a virus) make one less of a man?

When a guy is being abused that way, I think it is even less likely they come forward... because of the "weaker sex" stereo type.

When a girl is so overly flirty with you, and then she says something when talking to you like "I think you're too good for me, I'm a bad girl and you're just so sweet and you deserve someone so good" or something like that.

why do some women not understand that no means no
Posted: 8/30/2009 1:46:54 AM
When a guy turns down a woman who asks him out, why do some women insist on asking that same guy out over and over again expecting a different response. I have had this happen twice now, even a girl who upon breaking up with her boyfriend told me "I might be yours sooner than you think" (I responded with "If i wanted that which I don't") even though over the past 7 years of knowing this woman she's asked me out at least 5-6 times and every time i've said no to her. (I don't like her personality)

Why is it that she can't understand theres no hope for her with me? I mean if she was the last woman on earth, maybe then i might concider it for the benefit of the human race, but other than that she has no chance

Petro canada glassware
Posted: 8/28/2009 7:39:24 PM
I am curious to find out how many of the forum posters here have been buying the 2010 olympic glassware at petrocanada and hoe many of you still have your 88's lying around.

I've got 12 of most of the 88 ones, though there is one elusive glass i can't find from the set of 11 that i don't know what it looks like..

I have

8 old fassioned
12 tumblers
12 pilsners
6 red wine (Soon to be 12 once my order comes in)
12 white wine
12 champgane flutes
12 brandy snifters
12 liquor (cordial) glasses
12 stemmed beer (think Stella Artois)
3 Water Goblets (Soon to be 12 once my order comes in)
and
0 of the Unknown 11th glass. all are gold rimmed and gold torch logo

And then in addion to that i have
12 mint in box 16 oz capilano Tumber glasses for 2010
and
12 Mint in box Robson Old fassioned glasses for 2010

Next comes a mug, and then a pilsner to finish off the 2010 set of four.

And a question for the ladies after all of my rambling. Does a guy who collects glassware (to use, and yes i do use the 1988's for special ocasions) in this ammount sound wierd or like a turn off to you.

why are some women so strange

i told her exactly how many that there was 1 other girl and i thought that other girlk wanted me more than i wanted that other girl i said i wanst sure about anyone at this point not because i couldnt want her but because ive known her all of 4 days my exact words were

she aslks hoow many girls i've got that i want to get to know

i respond

"There is one other girl who may want to get to know me as more than a friend, but other than that the only women in my life currently are ones whom i see only as friends
why do you ask"

she explains she doesn't compete

i respond

"thats ok with me, because to be honest i'm not sure with anyone in my life, not you not her if i do truly see them as more than friends types, if that doesnt offend you."

What's the latest nice thing you did for someone?
Posted: 8/27/2009 3:08:37 AM
I found an old half used pool punch card for a local pool that is about half an hours bus ride from my house (a new pool which i am a member of opened up 5 minutes away from my house on foot) in my walet and so i took it to the pool and told the attendant i didnt need it anymore and that he should let the next 5 people through using my punches rather than making them pay the admission.

why are some women so strange
Posted: 8/27/2009 3:04:01 AM
A woman i met on here was very overly flirtatious very fast and then asked me if i had any other women on the line who might be girlfriend material because she did not like competition and that until i figured things out with all others her and i could only be friends. When i told her i didn't know how i felt about any women including her at the moment (Keep in mind i sent first contact to her sunday) she stopped all communication with me and does not want to talk anymore.

My question for the ladies is was I a jerk for telling it like it is that I needed more time to decide before concidering any women to be material to be more than friends with me.
Or was she just crazy? I like to tend to keep comtacts i make anywhere as friends even if relationships with them never work out but appearently in this case that won't happen.

Tried and true natural health methods/remedies you use?
Posted: 8/25/2009 7:55:00 PM
I have alergies to pollen, well, everyone knows how a vacine works by introducing a dead virus into yourself to cause your body to produce antibodies to said virus...

Well the same can be done with polen alergies. All you need is LOCAL HONEY, Local being the keyword. The bees process the polens into a sweet treat and even a teaspoon a day has helped me with my symptoms come alergy season, I just throw 2 teaspoons into a pot of tea allmost daily and it works to build your resistance to the polens with no adverse alergic affects on you.

Its wonderful stuff :)

omg, spicy soup
Posted: 7/2/2009 1:53:08 PM
Milk is my cure of choice however one must note that various peppers (the cause of your heat (Probably capsicum annum or capsicum Chineese)
Are measured in heat on the Scoville Scale in Scoville Heat Units (SHU)
If a pepper had 1 SHU of heat one would need to consume an equivelent amount of sugar water to the amount of pepper to cool it off.

Some common peppers I remember off the top of my head rank as follows

Bell = 0 SHU
Jalapeno =3500-8000 (IIRC)
Habinero = 100,000 - 350,000 SHU (You need 100,000 times the amount of sugar water minimum)
Naga Jolokias max out at 1,067,000 some odd SHU's Though i can't find them anywhere here in canada and I've been wanting to try them. Hell I'd settle for Red Savina's which are beyond Habinero heat but not anywhere near the pinacle of hotness the Naga Jolokia

My mom's about 5'11"
My dad is about 6'1"
My middle brother is 6'2.5"

Posted: 6/29/2009 9:22:30 PM
I want something like this

"When I was young, My mother had chosen a song to sing me to sleep and now as I lay here for my eternal sleep I share with you that song, [Stewball - Peter Paul and Mary] and now I bet you're wondering what a man like me with many words might have had to add to that... Well there shure is no Jet plane i'm leaving on, but I can tell you I was indeed "Here for a good time (Not a long time) and yes I had a good time, and I'll see how much weight I can pull with god and maybe who knows maybe the sun can shine every day, I want you to have a good time now. Hopefully the recipe cards I left with the living with my instructions for lunch were followed and you're going to be in for some tasty delights. [to perhapse my loving wiftg [wifename] who died before me or perhapse she's sitting in the audience here today or maybe even perhapse I've died alone having never found love but dear god I hope that wasnt the case]

Why not to reveal herself?
Posted: 5/26/2009 11:01:42 PM

I'm sure that this is quite flattering for you but to be honest it just looks like hard work from where I'm sitting.

She could be an ex playing games ......... could be your present gf trying to catch you out ........ could be a nutter getting ready to cook your rabbit ....... + lots of other variables.

Some things are best left ......... although I do understand your curiosity!

1: I have all of two ex's both of whom I would recognize the voice of
2: I have no present girlfriend
3: Lets hope not
4: Yeah

I'm going to call on the 14th when i find the number, and I will post how it goes

Why not to reveal herself?
Posted: 5/24/2009 1:59:12 AM
Ok folks here, I have an issue... There was a girl who contacted me Annonymously on favebook via the honesty box application telling me she liked me in June of 2008... We chatted a while but she wouldnt reveal herself. We talked on the phone but she would not say who she was and I couldn't recognize the voice. Now I don't have caller ID so i was unable to call her back to chat when i really wanted to as I did not have her number.

Fast forward to A couple weeks ago and she calls me again after no contact for months, to wish me a happy birthday and say she hopes sometime we can meet and that something can work out between us, but still says she's too shy to reveal herself.

Questions:

1: Why do this?

2: Do most people expect that when you call someone they then have your number thanks to caller ID and will call you back if interested and thusly I looked uninterested in her?

3: How does finding her # from my detailed Bill on telus's website and calling it look (once i get my bill for 14 may-14 june 2009)

Well, I had planned to ask him how he would feel about it first. Normally i wouldnt date a friends ex but we seem to get along well and I would treat it exactly like my brother did when he wanted to start dating my other brothers ex.. He asked first if riley would mind, and then started dating her its been a year now they've been together (closer to 1.5)

There is a cute friend of mine who I have recently contemplated asking out. But my issue comes from her being an ex of another friend of mine, and her also being my ex (who broke up with me on good terms)'s best friend.

What do i do? is this a no no to ask her out?

Altering the course of history... in your life time.
Posted: 12/1/2008 11:54:47 PM
Take for example the plot of Command and Conquor red alert, as reasons not to change history

Albert Einstein INvented a time machine in 1947, he went back to before hitlers rise to power and Assasinated hitler, Horray No world war II no Holocaust etc etc.... However without the Nazi's to hold him in check Josef Stalin was able to lead a soviet invasion of europe. Just as it looked like the british would be the last free people in europe the allies rallied crushing the soviets. so not all change is good, I mean Stalin killed many people too.
