I really hope that this person was not charged for something I never accepted. Is that the case? Clickit13, Senders are not charged for the gift(s) that they have selected until the recipient accepts the gift and fills out the delivery information. This is detailed in the email confirmation that is sent out upon ordering and is also displayed on the summary order page when placing the order. We set the system up this way for this exact situation! Thanks

The International flower question keeps coming up so I am including a portion of my previous post below: International Deliveries Florist Arranged Flowers only For International Deliveries we do offer products to over 80 Countries around the world. The link for International Deliveries is on the far right hand side of the top menu bar. As we are based in the US and Canada, International Deliveries do cost a bit more on average. They are all Florist Arranged and everything depends on average pricing in the Country you select. Australia and the UK are currently available to send flowers to along with many other Countries through our currently International wire service! Thanks, Flower Admin

Richard, I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier, but I was unaware that a new thread was started. I have done research in our system to investigate what happened. You placed your order on the first day of deployment of the new flower option. We did have an error on our site where Saturday shipping was charged on a few orders by mistake. The ones we found were corrected and the money refunded and the system was fixed within the hour. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused. With this type of system we don’t know, up front, the delivery date the recipient of the flowers will be requesting and therefore we are not able to quote the final price. If the recipient requests a Saturday delivery, there is an extra fee charged by the courier service. The sender has the option to not allow this service during ordering. We have reviewed all the comments here and will also be making a change to our system. We will be changing the system to give a breakdown of the charges in the email communications sent as well. We do not want to collect more than we are owed on any order and would like to extend our deepest apologies that this error occurred at all. Sincerely, Flower Admin GrowerFlowers.com

Is anyone really getting these flowers? Have you had any orders? I guess it would be exciting to receive some! Kinda nice!!!!!!!! Yes, we are getting orders every day already and many people have already received their flowers!

Hi all, Markus said it was okay if I posted some replies regarding the new flower option. I work for the flower company and I am willing to try and give you a hand if you are having any problems or have any questions. First, a quick blurb about our company. We have been online since 1996 selling Grower Fresh products and we are also a grower. The owners have been in the flower growing business for over 50 years in Canada and we have a number of specially selected grower fresh providers we have partnered with in the US as well. We offer a variety of products: Grower Fresh Flowers - delivered via an overnight courier in a gift box direct from the grower. Florist Arranged Flowers - delivered via a local florist through a wire service Gift Baskets and other Unique Gifts - delivered via an overnight or two day courier (in the US only at this time). Here is a list of what is available to different countries. US Deliveries Grower Fresh Flowers, Florist Arranged Flowers, Gift Baskets, Unique Gifts CAD Deliveries Grower Fresh Flowers, Florist Arranged Flowers International Deliveries Florist Arranged Flowers only For International Deliveries we do offer products to over 80 Countries around the world. A sender clicks on a link to send another POF user flowers. Nothing is charged to the sender at this point although a estimated total is provided (taxes are not figured out till the order accepted). 2. The recipient receives an email letting them know that a gift has been purchased for them. You obviously don't have to accept or enter your information if you don't want the gift. 3. Once the gift is accepted, the senders' card is charged. At this time an email goes out to the sender letting them know their gift has been accepted and the final charge on the credit card. Our Customer Service Center does not release any information on any orders in accordance with the PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection & Electronic Documents Act) as a standing practice. In addition, for POF users, recipient info is blanked out and a huge warning pops up when one of the orders is accessed, letting the operator know that NO information for either the sender or receiver is to be given out ~ ever. It would take a court order for any info to be released. Credit Card Security: All online credit card collections are fully secure. We have 1024 bit public key encyption and have been verified as secure by Ambrion Trust Wave (one of the companies certified by the credit card companies to perform this service). A copy of the sercurity certificate we have received as well as details regarding this can be found under the security link on our web site. Credit Card companies have very strict guidelines that all online companies are required to follow these in order to continue doing business. Hope this helps answer most of the questions.
