ultimate revenge
Posted: 1/29/2009 11:12:54 AM
First off, some men cant handle relationships with an ex. If that was his true reason for ending it you dont want a jealous and possesive man in your life. If trust isnt there lets face it, you are doomed anyway. If you really feel he did you wrong and broke your heart, revenge is not the answer. There was a relationship in my life that ended badly and I wanted revenge so bad I could taste it. It wasnt necessary, what you do wrong to others will come back to get you, Im sure of it. Let it go and move on.

Is it normal for straight women to consider other women to be more beautiful and hotter than men?
Posted: 1/22/2009 4:07:35 PM
Yes it is normal in my opinion, but I look back to my younger days and thought it was just that, admiring a beautiful womans body. As I got into my late thirtys I realized it was more than that, that despite my catholic upbringing ,I wouldnt be struck down dead if I admitted to myself that I wanted to be with a woman. Its possible your girlfriend is bisexual and doesnt want to come to terms with that, but then again she might just be fantasizing ...as we all do.

Consider yourself one of the chosen few. Walk into a sex toy shop and look at the g spot toys. Need I say more?

He Says Lose 30 lbs and He Will Give you an Engagement Ring.....Would Ya????
Posted: 7/24/2007 5:38:55 AM
This sounds like a modern version of lets make a deal. The most important part of getting married is unconditional love.....dont even see a clue of this in this relationship. I'd show him where the door is and tell him not to let it kick him in the ass

STD Risk: Oral Sex, Kissing, Hand jobs
Posted: 1/22/2007 4:44:43 PM
Hardly a golden ticket, to me someone who is showing some responsibility. If I was on a first date and he whipped test results out I would be a little freaked but going into a sexual relationship I would know that he took the time to get tested and would be willing to do it again. OP: If you are a virgin go see your doctor about the hpv vaccine, I just got my daughter vaccinated for it and she will never have to worry about it.

deepblueyes,

good for you. If everyone would take the time to get tested and carry those results around with them there wouldnt be so many people playing russian roulette with their lives. I hope the ladies you date appreciate you.

Don't see any sparks
Posted: 1/20/2007 7:30:00 PM
It does depend on whats important to you. I was married to a man for 15 years who was perfect in everyway...but no sparks. After raising my children and missing out on the best years of my life I feel I did both of us an injustice. I promised myself when I walked away that I would never make this mistake again, and I wont. I feel that chemistry is essential to a healthy relationship...there is a word for a relationship without it...its called friends

When is too soon to say I LOVE YOU
Posted: 1/20/2007 7:17:56 PM
I do believe that love can happen soon, but of course is depends on the person. I didnt experience real love until I was 40 years old. Within a month I knew I loved him and I almost married him. Because of a lot of factors we didnt make it but we are still friends and I believe we will love each other until the day we die.

How do you initiate a conversation about STDs and not using condoms?
Posted: 1/16/2007 7:54:30 PM
You should never feel uncomfortable asking a partner to get tested. Its best to go together and that way you will know it was done. If for some reason he will not get tested, move on. It could mean your sexual health or even worse your life.

using condems......in the last half of sex
Posted: 11/12/2006 9:08:19 PM
there is a word for people who use this form of birth control.....PARENTS....If your not ready to have a child you need to use a condom the entire time and a spermicidal cream as a back up. My son was concieved when I was on the pill which was supposed to be 98.9 percent effective, condoms have up to a 25% failure rate and thats if they are used properly.

i am broken into a million pieces...
Posted: 11/11/2006 9:03:28 PM
Dear Amber,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I love my dogs as much as I love my children. I have a story similar to yours but with a different ending. last 4th of July weekend tree trimmers went into my back yard and left my side gate open, my kids called me and asked me if my brittany spaniels were with me. I rushed home from work and we looked for them for hours, we finally found one he had walked up to somebody knowing he was lost but my femaile puppy kept going. The phone call you pray will never come came that night. My Isabella was on her way home and had got hit by an escalade. Two nice teenagers got her off the road and called us. I held her in my arms on the way to the hospital, she had a tire mark on her, her teeth were knocked out and she was in shock, I prayed to God not to take her from me. The vets looked at her and told me she had a collapsed lung and internal bleeding and that there was a 80% chance she wouldnt make it. I told them they were wrong and to do everything. I just couldnt imagine her not making it. Luckily my story has a happy ending she came home three days later and she is my miracle baby. For two days I felt the fear of losing her and Im so sorry that your baby didnt make it. I hope that you realize that your Mandy was one of the lucky ones who had someone to love thenm as much as you did. Try to think of the happy times and know that you made her life a good one. In time you will heal and so will mindy. I work for rescue for homeless dogs and we pray everday for someone like you to come along. My deepest sympathy to you

Tamara

Is it Cheating when you are seperated and could you forgive?
Posted: 11/9/2006 11:40:49 AM
This is such a loaded question but being on this site I deal with it quite a bit. I have been "seperated" for three years now. Legally I am still married due to insurance benefits I will stay that way for some time. I am always honest with people Ive dated and to make things easier on both of us we got a legal seperation on paper. So when I go out on a date am I cheating? No, but I feel if your in a relationship and decide to take a break and then go sleep with someone else, and some people do this to see if the grass is greener on the other side, this can be a form of cheating.

If you cannot feel sexual chemistry, should you continue to date someone?
Posted: 11/6/2006 11:18:36 PM
Ive been down this road. I met this man he was wonderful, good looking, educated and a true gentleman. One thing was missing, chemistry. I told myself this man was everything I wanted and that it didnt matter, I was young and didnt know better. I married him and spent 15 years of my life in a marriage without passion. Im sorry that I put myself in this situation and Im sorry that I hurt him in the process. From my experience I can tell you that without chemistry it will eventually end in heartbreak, It is essential in a healthy relationship.

Girls Kissing Girls
Posted: 11/4/2006 7:04:34 PM
Being with another woman is a beautiful thing. Its funny because I had to hide my bisexuality for many years and now its the cool thing to be. I have never kissed another woman in public (unless you want to count my favorite lesbian bar ) And I never would to turn men on, to me thats not what its about. As far as sharing goes...nope, Threesomes can go very wrong

Can Friends with Benefits turn into a Serious Relationship?
Posted: 10/29/2006 9:59:35 AM
First thought that comes to mind ... Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?

I agree with this. The main question is are other women involved? Have you asked him and how would you handle it if he said yes? If he is seeing no one but you I think there is a chance but you need to find out, if you fall in love with your FWB it can lead to nothing but heart break

what does space mean??????
Posted: 10/29/2006 1:03:11 AM
Im sorry to say that when someone says they need some space, the next thing coming will be I want to see other people. Ask her how long its going to be, you have a right to know, if its over you need to grieve and get on with your life and if she ever loved you she wont leave you hanging.

How do you love someone with a Disorder
Posted: 10/24/2006 2:06:28 PM
As long as the person is doing everything within their power to keep their illness under control it should not stop you from having a relationship. Many illnesses such as bipolar disorder are genetic. Would you abandon someone you loved if one day they found out they had diabetes? Yes different, but also something that can be controlled. The key to having a relationship with someone who has a illness is education. To me if you really love someone you have to take the good with the bad, thats what unconditional love is all about.

Can someone help me to understand men?
Posted: 10/23/2006 5:43:39 PM
not all men are after sex. Do you get to know these men very well before dating? Some men are strictly after that. I make it very clear before the first date that im not going to jump right into a sexual relationship. Does that stop them? The right ones yes, it also weeds out the bad ones. Good luck to you.

The ones we can't forget
Posted: 10/23/2006 10:04:37 AM
my exboyfriend is the one I cant forget, and believe me Im trying to. I fell so hard for him and fast, it doesnt usually work that way with me. I do feel like my heart has been ripped out and if I hear his voice it tears me up. I hope with time it will get better. I broke my exhusbands heart and although i felt no remorse leaving him, I do now, because now I know what it feels like.

shold i even bother replaying back? heart is healing!
Posted: 10/22/2006 1:44:58 AM
don't open pandoras box. If you feel she has moved on you should also. The worst thing to do when your heart is healing is to go see the person who broke it. I wish you luck

Is it an Omen that military relationships are destined to fail?
Posted: 10/20/2006 9:12:44 PM
destined to fail no, but more difficult yes. When you marry someone in the military no one tells you that you are also enlisting. I was a military wife for 15 years. I partially raised my children alone while my husband was in Turkey, Saudi, you name it. Its hard to constantly be away from someone you love, and hard on the children too. Then there is the fact that you are moving like gypsies, my kids and i sat down once and counted how many times we moved, it was unreal. Does this stop you from marrying a military man? I would hope not. In a lot of ways being a military wife made me very strong, and I was always and still am proud of him.

Why can't ment show respect for a women
Posted: 10/20/2006 8:37:09 PM
whoa...men bashing...lets be realistic. I have friends who are male, female, bi, straight and gay. I see just as much disrespect in relationships with two women as with a relationship between a man and a woman. I dont think its fair to put this on men alone. Yes I have had men disrespect me, and I have disrespected men. Maybe your going after the wrong men, I think all of us have that secret need for bad boys even if we don't admit it to ourselves or them. The only way a man can continue to disrespect you is if YOU let him.
