I recently moved to maricopa, az. and love to sing karaoke... any suggestions on fun places to go within an hour drive (hopefully less) from maricopa? also I love country music, how do I find some dance places within an hour of maricopa? not knowing the area yet..anything good off the 10 freeway would be greatly appreciated...thanks so much!!

I agree, they have been playing like been there..done that...hopefully selanne can spark em again. Would love to win cup back to back..now we see how hard that is. But...hehe so glad we won before the queens and sharks in the west. Many years it was hard to be a duck fan...but last year was sweet! and...so glad paul karia(traitor) saw the errors of his ways lol he won't win again with st louis...justice who is your favorite team?

I love hockey!! hense the name...love my ducks..even tho they need a kick in the butt right now! soo glad to have neidermeyer and selanne back too...had a feeling they were coming back. Wings are running away with it right now...but as we all know...they can be eliminated in the first round(ducks..remember) lol My daughter had season tickets and begged me to go back in 1999 so I went. after second game I was hooked!! got all duck stuff for xmas lol and my Herbert jersey..woohoo I know enough about hockey to be dangerous lol always watch it on tv when cant go to the game also...dont want to miss a thing...lol have a great day all

We are all here for the same reason...to hopefully find someone to share our lives with. You can deny to yourself all you want ..that's fine , but you're on a dating site and that means you want a significant other in your life. But not just anyone will do, there has to be that chemistry and compatibility. So yes we do need!

Why does he feel the need to lie about the ring? the tiniest diamond is worth a million bucks if it comes from his heart. The fact that he lied..I wouldn't trust him, if he can lie over the ring, you are not starting off on a good note. Things can only get worse...just say NO!!

So proud of my ducks ..knew they would do it from the start of the season. Now we are on pins and needles till July 1st to see who will stay. Rumors are scott and selanne will retire... Giggy wants to stay with the ducks...hope they make it happen. Did you see Giggy skating with mini giggy? so cute and baby giggy in the cup? precious 'sigh' 3 months till hockey!!

My profile isn't funny even though I know I am. I just don't type funny...I feed off others' humor and that brings mine out. That's why I like to talk on the phone asap , you can really get a sense of someones personality on the phone...no delays to think of their answers...

I have learned I need to see a picture first to see if I am attracted. If the emails go well then it's time to have a phone conversation. If that goes well and by this time you should be really intrigued with the person you are talking to, and hopefully turned on by their words and the sound of their voice. Now that first meeting can be whatever you both decide on, to see if the physical chemistry is there and you enjoy talking and being together (would love to get this far) Also I have learned... If there is something that attracts me to this guy, then there is hope that the feelings will grow. I also learned if i am not attracted in the least bit, it won't work. Move on

Rob, I was in az last week and went to the Monistary(sp) i liked it I sat outside where there was a band, volleyball, horseshoes, pool table on the balcony,and dancing...so lots to do. It is in gilbert and I am not familiar with the street names yet. call information

Alot of california bars still let people smoke there. They would rather pay a fine than lose the smokers. We will see how arizona bars handle this. I was in az last week for "country thunder" a friend took me to the Monistary(sp) inside/outside bar with a band outside....volleyball,pool table, horse shoes, ping pong...a fun place to go and smoking outside .

you're 23 and giving advice...that is funny. you haven't lived long enough to give sound advice..that's why your post was way off base. Just be yourself..if you stop being nice to woman you are already dead in the water!! If you really like someone, it should come natural to want to be nice. The old saying..you really do get more with honey than vinager is SO true. Also the long lasting relationships are when the couple are friends. I for one can never have too many friends.

HI everyone, I have been posting a few months and thought i should introduce myself to local people. I am in the process of moving from calif. to az. Have to sell my house first. Been looking in the gilbert queen creek area, I have a friend in gilbert, she and I are going to "country thunder" the 2nd week in april..it is in florence az...camping out for 5 days and about 15 country stars will be intertaining. Looking forward to that. Hope to meet alot of you..maybe when I get out there we can plan a get together...

I agree macky...if I am going to date the cat..then it's ok cause he was cute lol...Looks are important...he only has to be attractive to me though. A friend I wouldn't need a picture because they don't have to be attractive.

Will guys really dismiss a woman he finds very attractive and the chemistry seems right? I met this guy last year and we met for lunch. He watched me pull up in my car..get out and walk towards him. He said he liked how I looked..my walk..my hair..my eyes..ect. He had to sit next to me not accross so we could talk he said..lol walked me to my car , gave a kiss goodbye( which was veeery nice). I got home and decided to be brave and call him to say ty I really enjoyed meeting him, and had felt chemistry I hadn't felt in awhile. He said he wanted to just ravish me...yes i would like to be ravished!!! So days go by and not a word...i email him to find out why...he emails back..."I have decided the smoking would bother me after all" He didn't bother to ask...I would have quit smoking if motivated to do so...

Blast said what I was thinking...change your picture...shave....take the hat off..women want to see your sexy eyes. You write really well and sound very nice and any lady would be lucky to date you from the way you come accross in your question. try a shirt and tie...looks great in pictures...also a sporty picture in shorts. I like to look at different pictures...and my rule of thought is..take the worst picture the man has posted and more than not..that is what he looks like. Your profile and picture is your one and only chance to make that "first impression" good luck

I think it IS rude, and it really bothers me when people do that. My friend does that and I tell him..do you want to talk to them or me? Now kids, sometimes you need to yell at the kids right now! or they will do something that can hurt them..or whatever..she should then come back and apoligize for interupting you. But then this is a preveiw of what to expect when dating a woman with kids...they do need attention.

sick...I judge my friends by whats inside....but a mate/lover is different, I have to be physically attracted to him. For me it's the eyes then the smile...and let's not forget that important chemistry. Also, don't be afraid to talk to people, get out of that corner and mingle..it isn't as scarey as you make it. Most people don't bite and are very friendly.

I totally agree with twenty-five...you hit the nail on the head. It is really funny why older women with long frizzy hair thinks that is attractive?? Shorter healthy hair will take years off you looks!!!
