Just walk away . . . but seriously guy . .she sounds like a piece of shit . .fill your life with other things . .not garbage like her...you're a good friend to her, but she's not even a good friend to you. she's still playing the field . .take yourself off that field . .one less 'sucker' for her to play with. You'll feel so much better about yourself in the long run. remember there's one born every minute. Any a-holes she gets involved with who treat her like shit she deserves.. just walk away . . .and be glad it's over

That's a really good question! Same thing just happened to me, except it was only a week. I tried to ask her about it every which way and get a straight answer from her, but I still haven't got one. And she still wanted to be 'friends', And we were 'involved' for about a year and a half. And she's text-messaged me since saying "I am still In Love with You, please forgive Me" . I didn't get back to Her because She's done that before only to say the next day, "it was a mistake". go figgure...

Oh this is so true...will I ever admit it? I am afraid that i love men so much it is difficult for me to think they get more attention! lol....If anything all i hear from most guys is "you're a chick you'll get assortments of desires,wants,needs " Now i know ladies who have done "anything" for men so i suppose some of us are well aware it's often times due to character more than sexually chauvanist attitudes/lifestyles... hehe..And maybe cus ppl are so giving that we shouldnt waste our time bashing the bashers out there...If ppl resort to cheap stereotypes just f**kn run for the hills LOL!

I "threw in the towel" a long time ago, as far as this site goes! I've been on here since last year sometime, poured my heart and soul into replies and I got NOTHING! If I ever want to get brought down and made to feel like a LOSER I just log onto POF. I've completely changed my profile around, different pictures and all, still nothing! Women I have everything in common with still don't respond to me! Not too long ago I pointed out to this 'Malibu Blonde' [who in her mind is so far out of my league]that one of her pictures made her look like she had a 'double chin', I just thought if she was looking for 'Mr. Right' she wouldn't want to post that picture, like if one of my pictures caught a negative attribute I'd want to know! Well I certainly got a response from that one! What to do? Don't worry about it. Get a dog! I've got a Jack Russell Terrier, he's awesome! I love him to pieces! Sleeps with me every night! Even when he's been swimming in the river and he stinks!! Not to mention he likes to roll around in the dirt after! He doesn't like baths! To him , that is a bath! The first thing he'll do after is roll around and try to get dirty again! Don't get a Pit Bull though! Might 'turn' on you and rip you to pieces!

Poor Guy! Gets slammed for being honest! Try playing electric, get a group together, get some gigs, you'll suddenly be popular. I know a guy in Guelph who did, fat ugly guy too!, got gigs at Wally's, and had a bunch of 'groupies', then when he quit playing gigs he was relegated to loser status again. Everybody loves a 'winner'

Thanks for the responses everybody. It was a letter I'd sent to an american girl after talking to my neighbor who never had any success with cdn women either, but is now in a serious relationship with an american girl and seems to be very happy. So I guess I was alittle biased that day. This was a 'generalization', I never really 'went out' with an american girl, but I've known a few, the ones I met seem to be a lot more easygoing than the cdn ones I've known. My neighbors girl, looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar, and one of the nicest down to earth girls I've ever met, a rare combination in these parts. reminded me so much of those chicks I met from Indiana years ago. Seems all the cdn woman i've dated for the past 25 years have been 'out to lunch' in one way or another, a lot of my friends, male and female would agree with me. One of my best female friends, for a lot of years, is the first to admit how screwed up she is. Yes 'Checkingitup', I've made a lot of female 'friends' too, maybe women from BC are a little different than ones from Ontario. Jan pretty much agreed her nearing 45 was a little old for doing the 'nesting' thing, working toward 'getting a life together and maybe eventually having children. She'd been there and done that. She even suggested if I want to work towards that i should find somebody a lot younger. I spoke to a guy who was around 80 years old one day, he told me his brother had married a 23 year old woman when he was 60, they had children then she died at 29, and he moved on. Hey rusfeline, I've never known any Swedish women, maybe I should take one out for dinner! I did however know a Finnish girl, she was a space cadet, nobody really knew what to make of her! Hey Redhead! You seem to be pretty nice and normal, you should be proud of yourself! Don't be confused undercover, I was drawing comparsons between cdn and american women based on my personal experiences over the last 25 years. Maybe there is no issue, that's why I took this one to forum.

Met the odd nice one, like Jan, but she was a good 10 years older than I was, little to old to start a life with. I told my neighbor about things and also mentioned that if I'm ever going to have any success with a relationship I should start looking south of the border. 'Jim' from Guelph.
